  If you want thumbnails to display in your library, you can do the following:

  1. click on the "Start" button, type options files and click on the link 'Options folders' that appears.

  2. when several tabs 'Folder Options' dialog box is displayed, click the "View" tab

  3 always check "show icons, never thumbnails" to disable the generation of thumbnails. Clear this check box to enable the generation of thumbnails.

  4. click 'OK' to close the dialog box.

  Please check if you get a symbol of locking for images icons in windows Explorer.

• some old loading new imported images do not show images

  , I work with cs4/windows.  I can't get new images to show.  What page design and import the images it shows. When the "power" publication it does not show.

  You English is very good!  I am sorry to say that we're all frustrated with this.  This is a known issue.  I suggest you send feedback to Apple who report as a bug report.

• iMovie image not showing image, only crop marks

  Hello!

  When I try and insert an image in the image of my film, crop marks (corners) are to rise on the top of the window of the film, but the image is not there. I tried to save the image in several formats (jpeg, tiff, png, pdf) does not. I can see the image above the project and can double click on it for salvation in the yellow light and bring up the Inspector, but cannot do appear in the film. It's as if it was sent to the rear and crop marks are just show me where about htis image behind the film.

  Any help would be appreciated a lot because it's for my son's school project :-)

  There are many problems reported with stills in iMovie versions 9 and 8 in case of performance under El Capitan.  I haven't heard of this particular case where nature seems OK in the case but not a picture in the photo, but it can be linked.  (The selected thumbnail looks like a video rather than a still and video clips should work OK).

  He had problems even with stills in iMovie 10 under El Capitan, but they seem to be mostly resolved with the latest version of 10.1.1.

• Lightroom do not show images in thumbnails and works not properly. Unusable

  When I open Lightroom, none of the thumbnails will show the images. They show that the gray thumbnails. If I'm in the Library tab, when I select a thumbnail, nothing will load. If I go to the tab to the point, the image is displayed when selected, but only if it is enabled and one at a time. When you scroll through the thumbnails, it moves so slow it's unusable. I just downloaded the creative cloud Lightroom and Photoshop, and I'm already using my old 5 Lightroom, because this new Lightroom will not work. It's very frustrating. Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? It happened for about a week now. It wasn't that for two or three days after the download before it stopped working.

• RH9 Proj Mgr does not show images

  I am importing one RH9 project in another topics. The topics come in a thin, with images intact. However, the images will not in the folder "Images" of Proj Mgr. In fact, they can not be seen anywhere via the project manager (yes I have chosen to show all types of files and yes I tried to switch the display Proj Mgr).

  HR creates subfolders within the node Images who are appointed according to the records of the section in which import topics, but they appear as empty. Why RH9 create them and then not use them?

  Explorer Windows shows me that physical image files are sitting in the < section name > _files folder that is created when I import the subject. However, these files are not visible through the project manager.

  If I don't see the image files in the project manager, how can I move them to the pictures folder? Y at - it an option that I do pay to make the imported images visible in the project manager?

  I think that Peter refers to a bug where images are sometimes incorrectly not display. Create or rename a folder causes HR update its "database" of images.

  As you can see the images in the folder topic_files using Windows Explorer, I would take just one of these folders to rename - just add a 1 to the end - it should cause HR refresh and display the images in the project manager must closely match their location in the Solution Explorer window. It might take a while to process depending on the size of your project.

  I have the background layerand Bkg_Image layer and layer of video. I have embeded flv movie on video layer. On stage, it shows all the layers, but when I test the movie it shows only background layer and the layer of video. I do not see the Bkg_Image layer. Please let me know the cause.

  The Actions layer has swf external loading AS3 that works very well. Only the problem with Bkg_Image layer which is imprortant to me.

  Hi This is simply because your background shows that frame 1 - put your video in a MovieClip or expand frames on other layers to the number of images, the video needs.

• Bridge CS3 does not show images

  Today Bridge CS3 partially stopped working.  Images are not displayed in the contents window, but this is not consistent.  It happens with only selected records.  Shows data under filters the data folder.  If I try to open (by clicking on) an non-existent image in the contained window, PS or Camera RAW opens for this image.  I have an internal HD and 3 external drives from LaCie.  Copy a folder assigned to another HD or on the office sometimes works but only intermittently.  All permits, etc. for the files are the same, read/write permissions granted and all the rest the same.  Sometimes the files previously open do not open at a later date.

  I tried restarting the computer and the bridge, no difference.  Two events prior to the problem.  I installed the latest Apple security update and the new update of Adobe Reader.  Except that nothing particular occurred.  I also use Lightroom2 which works OK.  The image are in the files OK, open in PS, etc..  They just do not appear in Bridge.

  My computer skills are average, since Photoshop 6.0 user, taken a number of workshops of PS to SFW and Maine and I am competent using the program.  It's above my head. Help.

  Menu Tools > Cache > purge Cache for folder

  Sounds like a Cache issue.  Tried to purge the Cache for the wrongdoer or the files in the Tools menu of Bridge.

  Bridge 2.x (CS3) was and remains the worst piece of software ever published by Adobe or any other major software developer.  He should be set free by Adobe, but, shamefully, it wasn't.

  Fortunately, bridge 3.x (CS4) is much better.

• New version of Firefox will not show images jpg/slide show!

  It works very well with Firefox 8. It seems that your Firefox browser has a problem with javascript. Check if Javascript is enabled or not in your Firefox browser.

• JList do not show images

  I have a set of images that I want to fill in a jList. So I created a customcellrenderer class that will basically listcellrenderer to override getListCellRendererComponent to return a label with the particular image.
  
  Now I fill the list via Swingworker, by adding items in the model and the setting. But when I check the list in the framework (UI) I can't see all the images and the list seems empty, while I have the images in the backend. I get the images to see once the control will redraw itself after some operations of the user interface. I tried to re-validate list, repaint the list, repaint whole frame to display as soon as the images are loaded, and nothing helps. Code snippet is given below.

  I didn't say that. It's just good concurrency to handle only templates on the EDT, particularly when SwingWorker easily allows the dissolution of load the images into a thread background and update the model on the SOW via the publication methods/processes.

  The class ImageIcon uses MediaTracker synchronously load images (you can use your own if you want). If you get your images via the methods Toolkit.createImage #, then the images should be loaded. Generally what happens, is that the image of the Toolbox is loaded during the first. The component that made the picture gets repainted in addition to the image is available. But in the case of a JList, this component is the cell rendering component and he cares about repaint() calls. To change the line above will ensure that the images are already loaded and ready to draw when first shown. tjacobs01 post reminded me of this.
