  I have an Apire one laptop with Windows xp service pace 3. I had to restore it to factory about 3 years ago. Some time after that the sound system began to slow and the Synaptics mouse stop working properly. I can move the pointer, but the left click does not work. It works in safe mode but not in normal windows. I used the Acer eRecovery for correct, but it did not work. I tried to download the driver for the mouse on the internet, but some how it could stop the download. I gave up at tring to fix. Some time in late March or early April, I couldn't access internet and after 22:30. I ran the diagnosis that is provided by internet explore and he said that the HTTP and HTTPS worked but the FTP did not work. AVG later told me my firewall is disabled and there was the possibility to reactivate it and I did. After internet explore stop allowing you to enter certain sites that I wanted to enter, I ran the Diagnostics again and he told me that a firewall client has been the cause of the problem. I tried to control my firewall setting, but had that "due to a problem not identified, windows cannot display the firewall settings". I thought AVG was the problem, so I have unintalled then he returned and attempted to access the firewall but got the same message. I typed in Google MySapce and found this site. I followed a few directions given to others in the thread started by joecarpenter33 and discovered that my firewall has been deleted and Base filtering engine has been deleted also.   It depends on what you mean by heavy calculations.

  As you say, Apex code is executed in the database, most of this is PL/SQL that runs in the server of database resources. for example, memory, processor, etc. IO. PL/SQL is a mature programming language that can be stored in a compiled state, which gives it a factor of performance approaching compiled languages such as C.   This can be done and I did on occasion.

  You create the base class with the methods of dynamic distribution, you need (Connector components must be identical to those of the class of the child).

• Rapid calculation of the exponential decay constants

  Hi all

  I try to develop a routine that quickly calculates the exponential decay of a given waveform constant.  I use two different techniques, dealing with the calculation of the directions and another using corrects successive integration (LRS).  The two usually give the correct time for the input waveform even constant with a significant amount of noise.  The LRS solution is significantly less sensitive to noise (desirable), but much more slowly (DFT computations run the order of 10s of microseconds for a waveform pt 1000, while the LRS, such that it is coded in Labview, running at about 1.5 ms).  The LRS technique has been developed by researchers at the George Fox University in Oregon, and they claim that they could perform some computation time on the order of 200 US for both techniques.  I have been unable to reach this time with the LRS technique (obviously) and attempted to use a node of the library Call to call a dll compiled this code in C.  However, at best, I get a growth factor 2 in speed.  In addition, additional calculations using the dll seem to be additive - i.e. for four calculations similar running in the same structure with no dependence on each other, the total computation time is about 4 times that of one.  In my case, this is not enough because I try to calculate 8 x to 1kH.

  Looking through the discussion, I have been unable to determine if I should wait for a performance for C gain well written on Labview well written (most seem to ask why you want to do something external).  In any case, I join the code, then you can be the judge as to if it's well-written, or if there is no improvement in performance.  The main function is the Test analysis Methods.vi that generates a wave exponential scale, offset and noise and then the decay constant tau is calculated using the VI is Tau.vi.  In addition, I am attaching the C code as well as the dll for solving the equations of LRS.  They were coded in Labview 8.6 and the C has been encoded using the latest version of Visual C++ Express Edition from Microsoft.  Themain VI uses the FPGA VI module ' Tick count to determine the rate of computation in microseconds, so if you do not have this module you should remove this code.

• Can't separate the top cover to the base/motherboard to replace the RTC battery on laptop ZD8080US

  I am trying to replace the RTC on a Pavillion ZD8080US battery.  I proceeded with disassembly in step 11, page 5-33 Maintenanceand Service of Guide.  I am now unable to separate the top cover from the rest of the laptop.

  I can get the left side of the image of the base but even with what appears to be excessive force that I can't get the right separate about 1/4 "without making me concerned that I'll break the cover.   (The right side of the cover is folded about 10 degrees when I'm trying to force it).  I tried some jiggling and a few twists to see if that would open invisible conflicts but with no luck.  I used the tree of a screwdriver between the parties to try to increase the force.  All to nothing does not.

  Coverage seems to be stuck/attached to a 4 "- 5" to the top on the right side.  It acts like a screw that has not been removed.  I don't see anything when I peer into the hole when the two parties are discarded.  Is there any adhesive which can be between the parties on the right side?

  I examined the process of dismantling four times.  I counted the screws that came out.  I revamped to all the screw holes in the drawings and made sure there is no screws in the holes.

  Am I missing something?  Is there a step or a comment has been omitted in the text?  Is there a screw hidden under the model or label of Windows?  Is there one thing that others have found to accomplish this separation?

  After watching the video, it looks like you missed a few screws. (certainly enough of them _ typical HP)  HP laptops must be 'broken' even if all the screws have been removed, but yours seems to just raise, so it seems that you missed a few screws.

  You need to repair or rebuild Windows DriverStore. (which would make a reinstallation)

  You need access to a working Windows machine to solve this problem, but your PC will fix the driverstore himself.

  To do this:

  1) go to "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository" from a working PC that is copied to a USB drive or a network share.

  (2) on your PC goto Device Manager and find the device that settles (look for the yellow triangle).

  (3) right click and select "Update Driver Software".

  (4) select "Browse my computer for driver software".

  5) navigate to the location of your good copy of the DriverStore

  (6) "Include subfolders" check and click Next

  Windows will now search the driver good store and will be re - install the pre-configured drivers.

  Ignore any warnings about the driver being unsigned and let your PC to install them.

  Work pilots will be given on your pc, the driver cache will rebuild and your device will start working.

  Hooray!

  If you move the device to another USB port it will now install automatically, as it should.

  I agree - probably a good idea to re - install once in awhile to clean things up. format/install only took 20 minutes on a Win 7 laptop of Dell, and the image of the plant contained all required device drivers, so in an hour, I was in business (just had to reinstall light software).

  Bottom line, it was my fault (notwithstanding the clever but harmful individual who orchestrated injection of Trojan in my system of a Web site);  I was operating on bare bones viral protection. Now have Norton/Malaware and so far, no problem with Win 7 Home Security 2012 the virus.

  I can also threw more things by running 3rd party registry fixes - depends on the base engine (BFE) filtering service probably on one or more of the registry settings - if the fixes I ran were not smart enough to understand that while some real digging to find out what registry settings still an add-on / difficulty to ensure that (1) the BFE appears in the list of services and (2) it is the permissions allow local administrator to restart the service.
