Does anyone know if XP OS has a limit of 10 MB bandwitht, even if the card can be 10/100?

I am told that with Internet providers, increasing their speed of Internet, people with XP OS does not get full of this advantage because there is a limit in the Bandwitht operating system can manage up to 10 MB. Notice to lovers?

As Ken says, is simply not true.

I have a Gigabit Ethernet card in my Windows XP computer and I was able to get the rate of transfer of about 24 Mbytes/sec (not only "bits" / sec) without any problem at all.
