Does not start under the versions of FF 43 + because "mozglue.dll is missing" - when it is not

I was happy with FF v43 until what I decided to upgrade to v50. Installed, he would not, saying: 'mozglue.dll' was absent. I found on Google that other users had the same problem, with some advice that AVG might be the problem. I found the mozglue.dll was actually in Program Files - and repeated uninstalls and reinstalls FF v50 with also uninstalled AVG makes no difference. I found (wrongly) that reuse my original installation file of v43 then produces the same result - until I discovered that FF has been updated my v47 v43 within seconds after the launch. I finally beat FF auto update to access the Option 'do not update', so I have a job, although the old version of Firefox. Any advice would be welcome - while I play around with various solutions to bypass the annoying warnings on my FF being obsolete and its effect on modules etc.. PS: I'm very happy (and stubbornly) Windows XP Professional 64 - bit sp2, but I suggest that this is not my OS at fault because people with others using a variety of OS. Hi Lusia Kristiana Purnama,

    1. have you made changes on the computer recently?

This seems to be an infection by the virus on the computer. I suggest you analyze your computer to make sure that the computer is virus-free. You can do the scan for viruses in normal mode and check if that helps.

    Method 1.

You can run the Microsoft Safety Scanner to make sure that the computer is virus-free.

    Microsoft safety scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Warning of Security Scanner: there could be a loss of data while performing an analysis using the Microsoft safety scanner to eliminate viruses as appropriate.

    Method 2.

You can also start the computer in safe mode with network and then run virus scan.

  • Under the version release candidate of Win7, I was able to run Civilization 4 and Star Fleet Command 3

Under the version release candidate of Win7, I was able to run Civilization 4 and Star Fleet Command 3.  Now, after installing Win7 Ultimate licensed version, I can't play either of these games.  I followed all the recommendations posted on this site and others but have not been able to solve the problems.  CIV 4 does not work due to the cd when cd is in the drive and just SFC3 locks the computer.  I really like Win7, but think to give up and reinstall Windows XP, which would be a major undertaking at this stage.

    Hello Squidoutofguam.

Games don't work under Linux at all accepts by emulation, and to be honest with the applications as big and complicated as the games will not have much success.  They are written for Windows.

More details without some its going to be hard to solve the problems.  Obviously something is not configured properly with your machine, or there may be hardware problems at work here.  I had no problem with SimCity 4 or Civ 4 (even if I use a crack no CD for Civ 4) on my machine (64-bit).

The first thing I would do would be to get the latest drivers for your video from the nVidia Web site card.  The second thing I would do would be to close all background applications, and finally then I would probably run a test on your RAM, (just search Windows Memory Diagnostic in the Start Menu).  I have also try to create a new user account and try the games under this one.

If you could be more specific with what games works, by Microsoft do you mean the built-in Windows games, or titles such as Age of Empires, Halo or Gears of War?  And how they work not, error messages, crash dumps etc.  This would help. • The program cannot start because MSVCR110.dll is missing on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem - Windows 7

    Hello

I installed a program in Windows 7 and I can't start it because it appears: "the program can't start because MSVCR110.dll is missing on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. I looked for answers and I found that I can install this http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679# (Visual C++ Redistributable Packages). In this connection, there are 3 files to download: VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe, VSU_4\vcredist_x86.exe and VSU4\vcredist_arm.exe. My question is which file should I download or if I have to download each of them. How can I know which one I need to upload?

    Can someone help me please?

    Thank you

    Sebastian.

    VCRedist_x64 is for 64-bit systems.

    Vcredist_x86 is for 32-bit systems.

If you are running Windows 7 32 bit, just install the x 86 version.  If you have Windows 7 64-bit, you may need to install the x 64 and x 86 version. First try the x 64. I f it does not work, install the x 86 version as well.

vcredist_arm.exe is for devices using ARM processors which are compressed as the Microsoft Surface.

  • Problems installing the Apple updates. System error program cannot start because MSVCR80.dll is missing on your computer. "

Original title: I am a computer newbie, could someone explain/direct me?  Many thanks, Mark

Recently, I received an Apple update normal I-tunes.  Have done a little before, never with a problem.  This time, it seemed that everything was fine, then at the end (when expects a message "successfully installed", I received an error box with this: APS Daemon.exe - error system, the program cannot start because MSVCR80.dll is missing on your computer.)  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. "Well, since nothing else seems to work (or helping) and my music files have been backed up, I uninstalled I-Tunes successfully, then attempted to re - install.  I had to download the installation of Apple, which was very good. Once again, everything seemed to go smoothly, installation, etc. until it got to the point when he said "Marketing Services".  Then, as before - everything stopped and jumped up to the exact same APS Daemon.exe - error box system (with the same message) referencing MSVCR80.dll once again, saying that it is missing and try to reinstall the program.  From now on, I don't know exactly what that means (I know, I know) or if it's something someone like I could fix (or even try), or if I should just run down to my local computer store?   Never had any problems with the Apple or Windows updates before this one.

Thank you to everyone how wants take a few minutes and help a person who has started working on computers far too late in life!
