  Hello

  First, disconnect all the external devices connected to the computer, and then try to start and check what is happening. If the same happens, then you can try to start in safe mode and check if you are able to boot to the desktop. Only basic files and drivers needed to run Windows are started. If a problem doesn't reappear when you start in safe mode, you can eliminate the default settings and basic as possible cause device drivers. To start in safe mode follow the link.

  Make sure that the web browser you are using and its Flash plug-in is up-to-date. Google Chrome has its own plug-in Flash, it updates on its own. Firefox, IE and others have separate plug-ins.

  I am moving from 6.1 to 8.0 and have found a query that runs in 6.1, but not in 8.0, and I wonder if there is a solution for this.
  
  What I do is to insert multiple records in a table and using @@rowcount to see the number of inserted records, this code has worked at 6.1 but the 'qry' variable is not defined in 8.0. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

  What is the right way to go?

  I have 8 pages of the gallery with the same number of frames but all different of course.  Is there an easy way to combine this to all 8 pages or would it be acceptable for her pop on each page?

  Basically, what you're doing are preload the images, regardless of the question of if the visitor never will select an any of them. Preloading has the advantage that the response of your lightbox will be instant. It has the disadvantage of unnecessarily slow down the loading of the page, as well as the increasing use of bandwidth. For a small number of images, it is probably worth doing. However, the images more there are, the more become disadvantages. If someone really wants to see your images, a slight delay is probably OK.

  Another approach would be to preload the first pictures of two or three and then load the following images in the background that every image is available. I don't know if there are scripts that do this out of the box, but it is certainly something that could be achieved with careful script JavaScript. And no, I have not done it myself, but it is certainly possible in theory.

• My 8 Firefox Menu button does not work and neither does the right click in the window of firefox

  It seems that all drop-down buttons in the browser, including the bookmarks dropdown in the toolbar and the main menu button (firefox), no longer work. This happened after that I upgraded to firefox 8. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times all also the removal of the preferences user and all that but that does not work. But everything seems to work properly in safe mode. So I disabled all my addons in the normal mode, but cela still does not resolve the problem. My right click does not anywhere in the browser window either. And also, although the menus are not displayed, it seems that they are still there because if I click in the area that a the function button active, that's how I was able to disable addons.

  Safe mode disables extensions in Firefox 4 and later versions, and disables hardware acceleration.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

  If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

  Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode.   This isn't a problem or an error. It is an intentional visual effect that is designed to repeat the contents of the underlying screen.
