  First of all, you should know, I wonder a "software-handyman' - I LOVE messing around with my MacBook startup files, and sometimes I'll even an exaggeration with which. At the moment I'm running on a bootloader custom (refined) installed on am modified EFI, who manages my boot of trial between macOS 10,12 GM, 10 Windows and Linux of Kali. All in all my disk is divided into about 6 different Partitions (HFS + Journaled, NTFS, Linux Swap and a little more) which are listed on a hybrid MBR made by BootCamp and modified by me GUID Partition Table. (Phew)

  Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty good in this kind of things, everything is (still) works very well. My problem is, I kinda lost the overview of this 'universe', and - oddly enough - I'm also at the point where I lost the motivation to administer it. And that leads to my question:

  What is the best and cleanest way to get from one set to update EFI, a custom Table Partition, 6 different Partitions (and probably a few others) towards a functional, simple, system, like that of a Mac new, just bought.

  As said, I'm on a MacBook Pro mid-2014, GM Sierra (Build 16A313a)

• Smartphone blackBerry 8700 c messing around with SMS is HELP

  Hello! I got a used 8700 c so I could test Blackberry before investing in a new.  I use it on AT & T without a data plan because everything I do is txt at the moment. I was well.  Install SMS txting and went along great. I could send and receive sms txts.

  Then I tried to find a way to connect to my home wireless internet after reading here that I can do without the signing of a data plan with my carrier.  The 8700 c did not find my wireless device, but I realize, oh, well, not much.  I turned off the wireless on my BB.

  But now when I try to text SMS my BB says "Radio is off, message cannot be sent. You only will be able to save the draft. »

  What I did wrong?  I'm as much of a beginner you can get, but I look at the manual. I'm lost and worried because my wonderful son pays for the service on this phone and I'm not accidentally accumulate loads what whether light - and I don't even know what it means when he says that radio is off.

  HELP? !!!

  "Radio is off" means that the connection from your phone to the network of the company has turned off and nothing can leave your phone or be received by the latter.  Simple as that.

  You just go to manage connections on your home screen, turn on the network connection, and you're in business again.

  I just discovered that somehow still (and first 6.0 and AE CC 2014) display the timeline of a video 23.976fps to 24 frames per second, which means that the clip that I have, which has a duration of 01:26:36 in all other windows, including subtitle editors programs, all of a sudden has a length of 1:26:30:23. Of course, my imported subtitles derive flat 6 seconds towards the end of the film, so placement is completely wrong.

  There is no work around for this problem?

  To answer my own question: convert subtitles from 23.976 to 24 fps solves the problem of synchronization. It seems 'wrong', but at least it works now.

  When I updated my phone to IOS 10 it temporarily removed some applications to free up space and said that it would re-install them shortly after. I have at least 5 GB of memory and only 3 applications are removed. Now my apps are blackened out and does not

  try to remove and reinstall through the App Store

  try to remove and reinstall in the settings

  Have you tried to reset your iPhone by pressing and maintaining the sleep/wake and home buttons. That might help. Or disconnect from your iCloud account and sing again at the back.

• ThinPro with VMware View USB Redirection

  Hi all:

  I'm trying to configure my workstation (t620 ThinPro 5.1 running) to start required services necessary for USB with VMware View forwarding at startup.  I tried to add the command to /etc/rc.local and created my own init.d script, but none of these options automatically launch services.  Run manually /etc/rc.local and the custom init.d script launches the services successfully.

  Has someone managed to get the necessary USB redirection services running at the start?  Any guidance is appreciated.

  Solved my problem... changed under USB Manager Remote Protocol of VMware View.  Updated this setting caused VMware services to run at startup.

• T410 AiO customer CAPS, NUM, and scroll keyboard stop does not work with PCoIP view desktop computers

  We have problems with our t410 AiO customers, where the CAPS, NUM and scroll stop lights on the keyboard do not work with view PCoIP desktop computers.

  I found the below information and a work around:
  If you use the Protocol PCoIP to display on a client system Ubuntu 10.04, the CAPS Lock, NUM Lock, and Scroll Lock lights on your keyboard do not work with desktop view. Although the lights do not work, the keys themselves work.
  Solution: Set the following configuration in a configuration file, such as/etc/vmware/config:
  mks.keyboard.useXkbSetNamedIndicator = 'TRUE '.

  The problem is this difficulty is already in place via the latest version of the HP, Z6A440, software that is installed within our Organization.

  What I discovered, is that the model that we initially bought for the test doesn't have this problem.  However, the models that we ordered since that time, DO have the problem and the solution above does not work as expected.

  The model originally ordered for test is still a customer of IOA t410... but there are 4 "under models' for customers of IOA t410... that we have to test is a H2W20AA, while those we receive and distribution are the H2W21AA model.

  No idea why, when connected to the desktop from view, that models of H2W21AA have this problem?

  H2W20AA is with Teradici PCoIP optimized, which can support PCoIP better, but H2W21AA is not with Teradici. That's the difference.

  However, the issue that you are experiencing does not matter in fact, we have not heard of this problem before. I would suggest that you do the following to see if there is no change:

  1. Go to download the latest VMware View 2.3.4 for t410, follow the instructions to install.
  2. If suggestion 1 does not work for you, try to connect to another VM group or set up a new machine virtual clean
  3. Call HP service center to save your problem for further investigation if the suggestion above did not work

  I noticed that the webmail on a mobile browser has been evolving in the last weeks of the original mobile display that we had in recent years to what looks like a new layout with new icons etc and now back to a normal browser view that is quite impracticable.   Thanks Vikas. It turns out that the software is developed by Roundcube. While I couldn't find all the parameters of the mobile view "as suggested below of OpenSRS' I disconnected and then return in which automatically loaded the most recent interface. I guess the latest platform has now been updated and seems to work well.

  We use a third party software called Roundcube to our interface webmail and changes or improvements to the interface is done by the developers of Roundcube. There are currently included integrated mobile interface and its possible to change the mobile version of office settings.

  The hotfix allows the pop up in the General settings of the iPhone.  Minor correction - great results.

  It should work with view 5. But when I try to launch the client and connect to your desktop from view, he asks just a super quick message (which I don't see) and then it brands the "active" session, but it doesn't open anything . View 5 Client on my laptop works very well and I m able to access the same desktop VM.

  I had the same problem this week. He is not related to view 5, same problem exists also with 4.6.

  The problem seems to be that when you try to open the connection, the client calls a /usr/bin/view_wrapper.sh script and this script does NOT run with user privileges? However, if you switch to admin and then open the connection this script works well. You can test it by opening the X terminal in the thin client, then the su user and try to run the script manually /usr/bin/view_wrapper.sh start at 0 and you will get a prompt for sudo.

  I tried to add the useraccount 'user' in/etc/sudoers and allow that user rights sudo for view_client and view_wrapper.sh programs. Did not help

  If you add the user 'user' to the root group, connection opens fine but then you let the open thin client for the standard user to mess with.

  Quite a bug in the software? They don't do any test before releasing these?

  (1) ensure a has its former Prometric ID at hand (and never publish it on the web - or disclose to anyone).
  (2) there may be a delay by adding the test Oracle on its profile program; and we can't plan reviews until it ends.
  -I couldn't imagine that there may be a delay with what happens in the next few weeks,
  
  (3) somehow I feel nervous about this if I have completed a review of Promteric, or had completed a Prometric Exam in the last days.

  Concluding observations:

  My first name, middle initial and name (for printing in the certificate) have been converted to lowercase, without the possibility to fix this. Personal profile page says I need to contact customer service to fix this. (LOL)

  None of my history of test is transferred. The page says it's 'history of Pearson VIEW tests', so I don't know if that still counts.

  It's a "first registration" moderately painless with a VIEW. Just took a little time and patience.

  Certainly, it feels like screens and traffic were never really completely tested by someone outside the development environment - they 'work', but don't let the taste to have been done by a professional organization with expertise in web-oriented systems. I don't know which will happen in a future release.

  It is recommended to use only the USB cable provided with the product itself. But if it is a Sony USB cable, then it should be all right. I load all my Sony products with different cables Sony too (as long as the load cables shown in the port of loading of the product), and there is no problem. They all work very well. No problem whatsoever. I never use another cable other than a charge cable Sony with my Sony products. If the is a charger for Sony, there should be no problem using it as a charging cable. Make sure that it fits into the port of loading of the headphones. The DSC-HX90V is also a Sony product, so it shouldn't be a problem using the Sony camera cable to charge your Sony headphones. In other words, make sure you only use cables from Sony to charge Sony products. (But we must ensure that the cable Sony fits into the Sony product)
