  First of all, your username cannot be changed and it is not a good idea to have visible on any forum email addresses, unless you like to read the spam.

  This issue is addressed in the online help. When you create an output that it is generated in any folder you specify in the source schema. What is in this folder go to the server.

  If help is in! SSL! > WebHelp, so everything in this folder, including subfolders is what it takes to go to the server.

  I'm afraid that have met you the Rectangle Live bug that is limited to the MAC versions from 10.7 and 10.8, but not of 10.9 (Mavericks) or 10.10 (Yosemite). If all goes well, the bug will be fixed soon.

  Thus, a switch for the Mavericks or Yosemite with a reinstall might be the way to solve it here and now.

  To get around it, in each case, it is possible to develop direct Rectangles to get the normal old shaped rectangles or Pathfinder > unit, or use the scale tool or the free transform tool.

  A more permanent way round that is to create normal old shaped rectangles, after running the free script created by Pawel, see this thread with download link:

  The script runs without error. However, when I login to the web client. Networks > DVS > manage > resources > traffic system > the limit value for vSphere Rep VR Traffic is not updated.

  Little debug shows that rpname does not match $rp causing the script jump if condition. But that's all I know about writing scripts.

  Please take a look and let me know if any necessary changes.

I don't think so because I'm going to use a system recovery disk to put Windows 7 on it, and I think that the drive will wipe the drive. It's just that it was so hard to get Windows XP on my laptop in the first place, and I don't want to go through this hassle again.

  You will not be able to go back to XP, once you install Windows 7.  If you want the ability to do what you describe, then you will need to create an 'image' - style backup of your entire drive of Windows XP system you could use later to rewrite your drive hard everything back to where it was.  Two popular image-style backup programs are Norton Ghostand Acronis True Image .

  I create a synthetic importer to use in the creation and Media Encoder.

  The synthetic importer is core file. The file contains information about the content to display.

  Given that the code can automatically generate images and resolution arbitrariness and framerate, I want the user to simply add the file and generates a sequence or to a media encoder to convert.

  But the API importer wants to put me a final resolution and the framerate on the recall of imGetInfo8.

  To give a fixed framerate doesn't seem to be a problem, because if I put "canDoContinuousTime" in the course of the imInit that I receive all calls for all images the same sequence does not match the framerate in imGetInfo8.

  But the fixed resolution is a problem because I do not know the resolution of the target hardware.

  When you import a clip without a file (file-> new-> importing Custom) a 'New synthetic' dialog box is shown to set the framerate and resolution. By default, these values are the values of the current sequence.

  SDKFileInfo8-> vidInfo on the imGetInfo8 callback is pre populated with values entered in the dialog box.

  The same workflow to import would be very useful. (but without the dialog box "New synthetic")

  Especially because the Media Encoder has no option to set a synthesis as a source.

  Hi Bjoern,

  If you implement imImportImage rather than imGetSourceVideo, then always keep you some flexibility on the resolution of the source.  You can implement a custom in response to imGetPrefs8, settings dialog where the user can change the dimensions of the clip.  The custom importer, example illustrates modifiers dimensions after a double click on the clip.
