Don't want Phoenix I7: Start 10 menu appears not
I recently tried to install Corel X 3 using XP compatibility mode, but it did not work and damaged my menu of the Start button. Everything seems to be OK, but clicking on the Windows icon results in a brief "Hourglass" and no activity. I tried a system restore, but it tells me it couldn't find a file (AV was off), so I can only assume that X 3 deleted something. I tried some of the suggestions catering menu to start with powershell etc but none have brought.
I don't want to re - load Windows, if I can avoid it, but it seems to be running out of options. Any suggestions please?
Thank you!
Hello;
Let me welcome you on the HP forums!
I read your post on your Win10 Start Menu problem and wanted to help.
What COULD something work is known as a repair installation. It is less destructive of all functions of Windows recovery and rewrites the files from Windows system, including drivers, leaving your apps, settings and data intact.
To do this, you will need to use the link to the installation media to download Win10 and burn a DVD or create a USB key: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install?ocid=ms_wol_win10
Once you have, follow the instructions in the link: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/16397-repair-install-windows-10-place-upgrade.html
Good luck

Start button/Menu does not properly
I'm a novice so need simple answer. I'm running Vista on Toshiba notebook. When I try to access control panel, computer or any other element from the beginning, I immediately get a white window aand inside a window that says that Windows Explorer has stopped working error. Find a solution online and restart the program or restart the program. If I choose the option, or simply close the windows, I get the same response, which is a brief suppression of everything on my desk. Any ideas how I can fix this problem? I can get out through IE, but not in my conputer otherwise icon on the desktop.

I want to just delete a certrain views primary.
I don't know what you mean by "primary views."
WMP help explains how to set up the columns that you see in your application.
For example, if you right-click on a column heading in WMP it will offer you the opportunity to choose the columns , i.e. to select the properties that are displayed. You will find it is better to move to the first details view [the drop-down list on the left of the search box].

pls advise if I move the catalog, a gesture or a copy? My lr 5 will be still functional.
For confirmation purposes, it is better you take the backup of catalogs.

Spry border of Menu appears not, please help?
Hello
New to this forum, so I would appreciate help.
I'm setting up a bar of menus horizontal spry, I play with it right now and this is the code for the ul. MenuBarHorizontal li:
UL. MenuBarHorizontal li

border-bottom-color: #FF00FF;
border-right-color: #FF00FF;
border-bottom-color: #FF00FF;
border-left-color: #FF00FF;
The design view me shows that there is a border presents (not the actual color but a transparent 10px bored in design mode) then when I saw in the browser, it shows nothing, just normal - no border at all?
I'm fairly new to Web design so simple terms would be much appreciated!

I have recently upgraded to Windows 8 Professional.
A question that I have, is that whenever I try to open a PDF document, it always opens in a new window dedicated, with a totally black background.
Is it possible to open PDF documents on the desktop, so I can see the content PDF, on the same page as all my other apps open?
Under earlier versions of Windows, can I go to the start menu, then select all applications, and they are listed in the form of office, as all my other applications already open.
In Windows 8 Professional, I have not found a way to reproduce this behavior again!
It keeps taking me to a completely different screen. The one who looks like he could have been created for use with tablets.
I hate this behavior on my regular PC and want to know if there is a way to use the old and classic views.
I don't want to open the application menu in a separate window.
So, two questions: 1) is there a way to open the PDF documents in the current working window? (2) is there a way to disable the display of screen separate application and return to the old start menu request window, in the current working window?

When you use my cRIO 9024 on the ground, I prefer to be able to start and stop the acquisition with pressing a physical button on cRIO.

Is this possible?
Hi Cashany,
you will surely find this switch status. But there are easier ways (but more expensive) for a button. Fiddling with a pen or a small screwdriver to switch USER1 is not what I call "user friendly"...
-You have at least 2 voltage inputs on your module available. Use a switch voltage on the power inputs. Use a 'real' button!
-You have an available serial port. You can set some pins on GND or voltage and check their status inside the cRIO/RT target...

I don't want windows 10, but I'm stuck in the update loop - Help!
I have tried to avoid the update of Windows 10 and was doing a good job, until one day I came back to my computer to find the middle of the update of Windows 10. I panicked, somehow managed to cancel and thought that I had won it.
Fast forward a week or two and my computer tells me to restart after the update. It's somewhat normal, I usually told to wait and he does. Not this time. He returns five minutes later telling me that it will restart in 14 minutes if I want to or not. I can't avoid it. It restarts. I have to go to work. I just find that it is just rebooted again later. I have to go back, I hear from my mother that she has restarted several times while I was away. I came home and closing it down properly and went to bed.
Today, it's the same thing, it force restarts every 20 minutes. I look for things on the internet and eventually check the updates. There are tons of failed attempts at upgrading to Windows 10 (which, remember, I never authorized to do so). I have 10 minutes before it goes to the next round. I'm next to me. I know not enough about computers to speak with her directly and make the troubleshooting thing I found on the internet that involves the registry and to be honest, I don't REALLY want to not Windows 10, so I don't want any solution that leaves as the result.
What can I do? It's time for me to just suck it up and buy a Mac? I am upset to forced into what I am quite certain I will never buy another Microsoft product again (and this is after growing up on Microsoft and he preferring Apple). I feel so betrayed and powerless. I don't want it to end on a bad note Aussie. Is there something I can do?
Even if you use another solution to prevent future attempts to upgrade, read the last two sections upgrade to disable Windows 10 - WiKi to see how to clean up what has already been downloaded to your computer.

I had Firefox starts downloading a file yesterday and then changed my mind leave Firefox in the process. He asked if I wanted to cancel the download and I said yes. Now, whenever I run Firefox, it starts to download the same file 805 MB that I already have a copy from another source. I deleted everything I could find with Firefox or Mozilla in preferences and Caches as well as a few other places, but again, start Firefox and it starts downloading. Looked through the preferences of Firefox and see nothing that looks like it would fix this problem. It's Firefox OS x 35.0.1 10.10.1, in fact, it is the OS X ComboUpdate 10.10.2 it maintains keen to download, but it is already on my drive.
I would like to give your more information, but I'm in Safari, Firefox now because I don't want to waste resources to have this file to download it again. I don't have a line T1 entering my house. Sorry, but this issue should be responsible without any of this info.

Vista OS does not load. I tried booting and the load screen bar continues to work without success. When you run the start he stops to c:\windows\system 32\cmd.exe that I don't want to lose my files so I have not reinstalled. Any suggestions?
Restore point:
Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.
Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...
Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
Data recovery, if/before you reinstall:
1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.
2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.
Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.
Download the Vista software from the link above.
After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
See you soon.
