Double click on a message header opens in a tab with totally different return email but the header of an email, the body of the email is empty, how to fix?
Emails sitting in my Inbox is open a few days normally. Double clicking on it opens a tab that is referring to the clicked e-mail header, but here's a header and a completely different email details and the body of the email is empty. For example by double clicking on an e-mail from results of Tesco in 'Tesco' display in the tab but the header below shows ' of: TalkTalk'
By clicking on "Options" and selecting "Display remote content" does not solve the problem.
Incoming emails will open normally when they first arrive.
This feature seems to apply only to a few emails at first, but it becomes general.
Uninstall and reinstall Thunderbird (ver 31.6) and the problem persists. OS is Windows 7
How can I overcome this?
Make sure that compact you the folders on a regular basis.

Folders.dbx is probably damaged. In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View. The path to the message will be very similar to this:C:\Documents and Settings\Your User of utilisateur\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\ {long string of letters & numbers} \Microsoft\Outlook ExpressWith OE closed, find the Folders.dbx file and delete it. Another will be created automatically when you open OE.Note these possible side effects:When you re - start OE, it will build a new index of all *.dbx files it can read and create a new Folders.dbx. However, understand that you will lose the mail directory structure and message rules will probably have to be edited. -

How to stop multiple self-switching to the address bar every time I open a new tab and try typing something anywhere outside the address bar? As something just wants me to use this integrated search when you type something non-Web-address in the address bar and press to enter. And the most ridiculous thing is that happens repeatedly on as every second, as I just got off the address bar and start typing again, but still he passes me in the address bar, then 3, 4 times like that. And the result is that I don't see the address of this page.
I think that its has something to do with my AVG Antivirus, because it started the same time a Nation AVG started to appear in each new tab I opened (and which is irritating as me, I've read here on support.mozilla.org and it seems that the only solution is to completely reinstall Firefox, but I don't want to lose all my settings) but when I type something in the address bar and press enter It opens the search results in Google.
Please try to help me, I love Firefox but I have to switch to Chrome until I fix this.
Thanks in advance
First of all, please update Firefox 32. 22 is no longer support is not safe. So, let us know if you still have this problem. Update Firefox to the latest version

I can not open a new tab (empty) I change all the settings. However as I said well can I open a new tab with a link without a link, I can't open a new (empty) tab.
Uninstall the toolbar Ask and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask and Firefox toolbar that prevents the opening of new tabs.
There are a few places to check for the Ask toolbar:
- Check the control panel Windows for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
- Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons

When I double click on a folder, it opens in a new window.
Original title: Folder Options
For some reason there is a few weeks my records started to open a new window every time I double-clicked on one. The settings are set to open in the same window, and I also missed and still the same. A friend told me that "" Windows 7 how it works "but I know that is not correct because it was ok and it is ok on another PC W7 I have."
I feel for you, I got mine located on open in its own window because it makes easier drop and drag in different places, but changed to open in the same window and it works as a single window is already open at the same time.
Have you tried this

By double-clicking on folders is always open in a new window.
I checked "Open the folder in the same window", but they keep opening in a new window if I double-click on any folder, which is annoying and strange.
If I right click on the folder and select "BOLD" default "Open", it opens in the same window, which proves that my default action is correctly set. However, if I double click it, it always open in a new window.
I searched the internet but the solutions that I found do not have helped me.
Hello
You can try this and see if it helps:
1. go to Start and type regedit in the search box and press on enter.
2. navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/Directory/Shell
3. in the right pane, change default values as no data.
4 exit the registry.Important: this method contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you change the registry
incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then, you
can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below
to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:Back up the registry:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/back-up-the-registry
If the problem persists, check in a new user account.
Follow these steps:
1. to open user accounts, click the Start button, select Control Panel, click on accounts of users and parental controlsand then click user accounts.
2. click on Manage another account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3. click on create a new account.
4 type the name that you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click create an account.
If the new user account works fine then the old account has been corrupted, you can follow the link given below to fix the corrupted user profile.
