Double click to edit the template is double the width of the container div...

Hi, has anyone seen this before - when I opened my master, the first time I click into it, everything gets selected. When I double click to edit the model, the width of the container div (that surrounds my page) double size. When I check the width properties page or on my CSS stylesheet, it displays the original width of 989 px, but when I scroll on the container in design mode, it displays 989px (1 985 px).

I have not saved this to my Web page, but I can't edit the template. Anyone know why this is happening?

Thank you!

Wendy

The symptom of having to double-click to edit is almost a diagnosis for a container of an overflow: hidden style applied.  Is this the case?

Yep - I can see that it is-

#Container {
     font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
     font-size: 12px;
     color: #FFF;
     width: 989px;
     margin: 0 auto;
     overflow: hidden;
     background-color: #CFDEE2;
     height: auto;
}

The doubling of the width thing is only a function of the display - I think you may be getting used to and know that this happens only in the mode Design of DW.  I assume you are using the overflow so that the container contains properly its floats?  Have you tried floating the container in place?  A floating element always contains its floats, too.  If you float it instead, you will need to have an another wrapper around her who centers, as a floating element will not also focus.

  • Make fixed scrolling bg relevent to the container div not viewport

    Hi, I'm experimenting with a design reagent and css etc. Im having a problem with something.

    I am just to test the bg images and put an image as a bg for a div when the option scroll centres nicely and is relative to the container DIV. If, however, I got it fixed, then it becomes from the window, which means that when you scroll to the top he chops of the upper part of the image turned off. Y at - it a way with css to stop what is happening.

    #contentright {(width: 25 %; background-image: url(/images/neilquote.gif);}

    background-repeat: no-repeat;

    background-attachment: fixed;

    background-position: 100% 50%;

    padding-top: 10px;

    float: left;

    }

    His image on the right side.

    Its not even something I really need but is now listening the hell out of me.

    Thanks for the research.

    Change this:

    #contentright {(width: 25 %; background-image: url(/images/neilquote.gif);}

    background-repeat: no-repeat;

    background-attachment: fixed;

    background-position: 100% 50%;

    padding-top: 10px;

    float: left;

    }

    to do this:

    {#contentright}

    Width: 25%;

    ("background: url("/images/neilquote.gif ") non-repetition fixed straight transparent 170px;

    padding-top: 10px;

    float: left;

    }

    We will assign a fixed position, no repetition in bg, horizontal right of div and 170px vertically from the top of the div to fill the space above this div (header area).

  • Background color of the container Div

    http://www.midwestmachiningandfabrication.com/index02.html
    Ask yourself why the container div won't display at the bottom of the page, even if the other div at the bottom is in the container div?

    -Change

    #container {}
    Width: 800px;
    margin-right: auto;
    left margin: auto;
    background-color: #0066CC;
    }

    #container {}
    Width: 800px;
    margin-right: auto;
    left margin: auto;
    background-color: #0066CC;
    overflow: hidden;
    }

    The overflow: hidden forces of the div #container to encapsulate its content (when they)
    are launched).

  • cannot Center web pages in a browser with css. Windows CS6. Tried the container div and all I can think about.

    Any who can shed light on why CSS is not focus my web pages? Placed the CSS rule in the header exactly like all the others who created the program. Made rules CSS 1 million before.  Entered in the div open and close tags between the body tags exactly according to the instructions. Webpages still stuck on the left side. Using Windows and CS6. Thanks in advance.  Glenn

    Just to let you know that I solved it. Added this code, as suggested by a friend

    Changed the wrapper div to:

    #wrapper

    and it worked... Finally!

  • How to get rid of a white border around the container Div (main box)?

    I look and look for a solution but could not find one. I develop a Web site, but the main problem is the white border (I changed it black so you can see what I mean) around the Web site when I go to preview DW to Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.Capture 1.PNG

    I've tried everything! margins of body of setting everything to zero, but nothing works... someone can help me?

    Ah, I see.

    When you got rid of the margins, your drawing of 1885 pixels width is now too narrow and he stops before your scroll bar on the right.

    If you want the design to fill the entire browser window, you must use % for width, not px.

    100% of the container and 25% for the 4 boxes

  • Show the button with a single click to edit the table only after click

    Hi all

    I love the click to change features in tables in the ADF and have a button in one of the columns I want to only be displayed in the mode (it is only once the user has clicked on a particular line) edition. Currently, all fields appear as read-only and can be changed when the user clicks on a line, but it seems that the button is always visible. I tried a few EL expressions to set the visible property of the button but have not found one that works. Could you help to define an EL or give me a hint on how I could hide the buttons in the table and only then display the row that is clicked and can be changed?

    Please provide the url of the site where it does not, also if you can provide an example where we can see the exact action, then it would help us.

  • Question of CSS - height of the external DIV layout

    If all goes well, it is a quick - in the past, I've used CSS for the layout main page, but always used tables in a DIV. But I'll try to be good and the DIVs used it too.

    In any case-, I have here a basic example:

    http://www.learners-Guide.co.UK/lessons/cockpit-drill/layout.php

    With the rank in the main contained Division in two columns, using:

    #outerWrapper #contentWrapper #content #row_one {}

    Width: 580px;

    border: 2px solid #333;

    background-color: #99FF99;

    padding: 10px;

    }

    #outerWrapper #contentWrapper #content #row_one #row_one_left {}

    Width: 288px;

    height: auto;

    padding: 0px;

    float: left;

    margin: 0 0 0 0; / * Sets the properties of margin for an element using the shorthand notation (up, right, down, left) * /.

    }

    #outerWrapper #contentWrapper #content #row_one #row_one_right {}

    Width: 288px;

    height: auto;

    padding: 0px;

    float: right;

    margin: 0 0 0 0; / * Sets the properties of margin for an element using the shorthand notation (up, right, down, left) * /.

    }

    The problem is that the #row_one_left and the #row_one_right columns out of the container DIV. #row_one

    How I would expand container DIV to contain the columns? I can do so by specifying a height of the #row_one DIV, but guess it's poor form and would be produced depending on the results screen / resolution / browser etc.

    I thought that maybe using height: auto; but no joy with either.

    I assume that it should be possible, as it may seem a pretty basic provision requiement.

    Thank you.

    You must use a style that forces this div to clear floats (as floats are removed from circulation, containing elements of law as if they aren't even there).  To do this, something like "overflow: hidden" works beautifully.  So to remove the styles from height: auto (which is the default anyway) and change sound.

    #outerWrapper #contentWrapper #content #row_one {}

    Width: 580px;

    border: 2px solid #333;

    The button star highlight to edit the bookmark because right click opens the context menu of the toolbar, you must left click.

    You can right click on a bookmark in other places such as the bookmarks toolbar or in the sidebar and in the bookmarks (library) Manager to change the properties.

  • Win7 detail: the "Show Desktop" taskbar icon has DOUBLED in width since the initial, unable to restore to the default size.

    The icon show desktop (Aero Peek) in the lower right corner of the taskbar has doubled in width since the initial installation.

    Screenshot links.

    I'm a fairly comfortable power user - I went through the registry with nothing doesn't. I tried setting the MinWidth for icons, but that affects only the open application icons. Bing search gave no possible causes. This isn't a serious error - and I can live with that. However, I would like to understand how it happened so it isn't double size again... and again... and again.

    I also installed a bamboo tablet, and my button display the office doubled in width.  I was able to restore it to the original (narrowness) by opening the control panel and open "turn Windows features On or Off".  I then unchecked "Components Tablet PC" and restarted the computer, and the button was back to normal.

    This disables the features of handwriting comes with Windows, but the Flick and feather options are always available.  Because I do not use the pen to write with, it worked perfectly for me and I could use my tablet of bamboo without problem.

    Hi stever25146025,

    According to the request, I understand that when you export images from Lightroom it shows only the crops, is not editing.

    It is specific to a single image or all images in the catalog?

    Could you please let me know what file format you choose to export the images and also what version of Lightroom are you using?

    Kind regards

    Tanuj

    Yesterday, I installed Photoshop CC (2014) through the creative cloud app. Now, when in Lightroom when I go to "Edit in" and select Photoshop CC (2014) and click on "edit copy with Lightroom adjustments", it opens Photoshop CC (2014) but my picture does not appear?  My picture is displayed when I click on "copy edit" or "edit original".

    How can I fix this so that I can open a photo in Lightroom WITH Lightroom adjustments? Thank you!

    My problem has been resolved by Adobe engineers. It seems that automatic resettlement carried out by sets of upgrade to win 10 everything to "run as Administrator". The simple solution, they told me was to disable this limitation and now everything works as it should.
