Downgrade HP Pavilion p6203w
Hello!
I have a HP Pavilion p6203w with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit installed. I want this downgrade to Windows XP Professional SP3. The HP support site gives no driver for this model for XP download. I tried decommissioning other systems and necessary for wake SATA drivers to the XP disk because of the computer used a SATA HDD. But according to Speccy this PC is to use an IDE while there should be no problem. So, basically, all I need is some help to find the correct drivers for this model that would work with XP.
I really appreciate any help I can get with what google gives me none.
Sincerely,
~ Chris

Go into the BIOS and check to see if the action keys is enabled.
If the action keys is not enabled, you will need to hold down the Fn key to increase or decrease the brightness of the screen.
To identify the drivers, you will need to enter in the Device Manager, right click on an unknown device and then click Properties. Which will open the properties of the device window. See the following image.
Copy the string and use as keywords in a Google or Bing search. The result will tell you what its manufacturer and the model of the device. You can also post here in your thread and I or someone else can help you with it.

Hello. I've recently switched to my HP Pavilion 500 (product # G5B59AV #ABA) windows 8.1 for windows desktop PC 7. I was able to install the drivers that worked through them looking for web. However, my attempts to install the USB controller in the tab two other devices of computer management has been problematic.
I go to hardware ID and pull them to the top
PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7814 & SUBSYS_2B17103C & REV_09
PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7814 & SUBSYS_2B17103C
PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7814 & CC_0C0330
PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7814 & CC_0C03I then find the driver I need to install to solve this problem. But so far that many solutions I looked online haven't helped me. I was brought here by this forum post: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/downgraded-hp-pavilion-touchsmart-all-in-one-pc/2f91c517-330e-4ade-ab60-5bb2b7e53e10?page=2
But still could not solve this problem. I have tried many attempts and downloaded and uninstalled AMB Catalyst software several times. I really like any other method can someone tell me step by step instructions. A video would be nice, but really just looking for something to finally resolve this issue. USB hubs on the front do not work and I really wish that any method that could solve this problem.
Thank you in advance.

the BIOS and chipset drivers.)-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,

BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install

Is it possible to downgrade my 15t_ab200 HP Pavilion of Windows 10 PRO to Windows 7 PRO?
I tried to look in security and recovery section, but there is no option "Go back to Windows 7. In addition, I see no Windows 7 driver for this particular laptop model.
I'm not familiar with Windows 10 in all. Help, please. Thanks in advance!
When you request support, please provide the model name and product number complete (p/n) of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq made thousands of computer models. Without this information, it can be difficult, even impossible to help you solve your problem.
The information requested above are on the bottom of your computer, inside the battery compartment or on the BIOS boot screen. Please see How can I find my model number or product number? for help more to find this information. DO NOT include your serial number.
HP series "15 t-ab200", your computer uses a 6th generation Intel chipset called "Skylake. Intel, remove support USB 2.0 since the chipset Skylake, so normal DVD and USB Windows 7 install does not work on the 6th generation of Intel chipsets. You must add USB 3.0 drivers in Windows 7 ISO using this utility Intel;
ndows-7-USB-3-0-Creator-Utility https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/download/25476/Wi
After running this utility and direct to your Windows 7 ISO, ISO/USB/DVD that results must be able to install Windows 7 on your computer.
You will also need the bottom driver for Windows 7 see hard drive... Extract the files on another drive flash usb without all records;
You will have to perhaps install the bottom driver to make usable USB ports in Windows 7.
You need to ENABLE 'Secure Boot' and 'Legacy Support' in the BIOS before installing Windows 7. There may be other BIOS settings that need to be changed and you may need to provide USB and/or AHCI driver before the installation will proceed.
Many Windows 7 drivers for the Software page and the driver HP Pavilion Notebook 15 t - ab000 CTO (ENERGY STAR) - should work on your computer. Please do not use BIOS and download the firmware for this model.
Please post of Device Manager "Hardware ID" (just the text string will do) for these devices you are having problems with and all the others who are listed as missing or unknown devices as shown in the example below.

HP Pavilion desktop computer - 550-a209: have to downgrade HP Pavilion Desktop - 550-a209
I have a desktop computer HP Pavilion - 550-a209 I need 10 windows downgrade to windows 7 because of some problems of software compatibility to our office.
BUT I can only find win 10 drivers on the HP support site.
Any ideas on what I could do here?Vik808, welcome to the forum.
I did some research to see if I could find Win 7 drivers for your motherboard. The APU/processor was released in 2015. It has integrated video chipset. The only drivers available are to win 10. Therefore, I don't think that you will be able to upgrade to Windows 7.

Downgrade HP Pavilion G6 2300st of Windows 8 for Windows 7. No driver?
Hello
We bought a HP Pavilion G6 2300st to our parents with Windows 8 is installed. Unfortunately, they have some diffuculties with Windows 8. So I thought that we had to downgrade to windows 7.
I tried to install Windows 7 on last night and I was not be able to do so because of the Legacy Support and UEFI etc.
After that, little research on the web and I think I'll be able to install windows 7 now. However, when I was searching the Web, I realized there are a lot of people have the same problems of course problem drivers. Then I find that G6 2300 st has no W7 drivers.
I wonder if anyone here downgraded G6 2300 st for W7 or not?
I found someone here downgrade the G6-2306el to W7 linked below.
That is the question; Can I use the same drivers who said in these posts?
If not, could someone please help me find the drivers work for G6 2300 st for OS Win7?
Kind regards
Hello:
You can use all the W7 x 64 drivers and this model on your software.
DO NOT USE ANY BIOS OR FIRMWARE FROM THIS LINK FILES
Your model uses the graphics from Intel, AMD, not a driver.
In addition, you should make your W8 recovery media set before installing W7, because the recovery partition will not work probably, just in case you want to or need to reinstall W8.

can I downgrade my Pavilion g6-2244sa for windows 7?
Hey, I thought downgrading to windows 7, since the other week, I bought my laptop loan of windows 8. I did some research and was told that I may need the good "pilot" to do and it is risky to downgrade if I don't know that I have it or not.
I have no idea how to find out if they or the good.
If someone could tell me how do I know if I'm sure decommissioning or whether I can go down the Pavilion g6-2244sa model it would be much appreciated.
There are several ways to find the drivers. I used these for HP g6-2210us of my sister-in-law who seems to us the same as yours systemboard. Once completed, there is no unknown device.

Downgrade HP Pavilion P6 - 2417a Windows 8 for Windows 7 Home Premium
A friend wants to downgrade their PC for WIndows 7 Home Premium. Already, they have a laptop running windows 7 and do not want to continue with Windows 8 on their desk, she finds difficult and binding. She tried to come to terms with her for awhile but is giving up!
I can not find the device drivers for windows 7 for the model P6 - 2417.
Drivers are required for the network (RTL8171H-CG), graphics card (Nvidia GeForce GT620), integrated Audio and features of the chipset of the motherboard.
Someone can help or do I need to search for individual components on the web?
See you soon

Pavilion P6203w: What exactly is activehealth.exe?
Is someone can you please tell me what activehealth.exe is? all I was able to determine is that"ActiveHealth.exe is known as HP active health and it is developed by Hewlett-Packard . Once I started my system, the disk access light will appear and stay balanced. When I go to the performance monitor, I see that activehealth.exe made a huge amount of e/s. This continues until the PC freezes and requires a reboot. When I run in safe mode, this does not happen. I also noticed that in safe mode, Activehealth.exe does not work. What is that program that could cause the e/s?
Royearle, welcome to the forum.
The active Health.exe HP monitors your computer to ensure that they are running correctly. I think that the way to solve your problem is to install the latest version of HP Support Assistant here. You choose the version appropriate for your computer.

Pavilion 20-b010 downgrade from Windows 7 support-side USB
I downgraded the Pavilion 20-b010 Windows 8 for Windows 7 64 bit pro and can not find the drivers for the USB 3.0 side ports. It seems that these only have drivers for Windows 8. Is it possible to get them to work, even in a level of USB 2.0 on Windows 7? the ven = 1022 (AMD), dev = 7812 (FCH XHCI USB). All other drivers seem to be installed and functional. DriverScan couldn't help. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hello:
Download the AMD chipset driver and restart.
The first listed file contains the USB drivers for the chipset of your PC 3.0.

F004dx Pavilion 17: Pavilion 17 AMD Radeon HD graphics card Windows 7 drivers f004dx
I'm downgrading my Pavilion 17 f004dx to Windows 7 Pro. I have the Pro Windows 7 64 bit responsible and all windows updates for it so far. I'm having a problem with the installation of the video drivers. For some reason any the AMD Catalyst video driver utility does not see the specific video hardware video card model AMD Radeon HD graphics on the display card. Windows 7 Pro keeps defining it as the "Standard VGA graphics card". Does anyone know what it should be showing under display adapters in Device Manager.
Is there anything I can do to get Windows 7 Pro 64 bit to recognize the graphics card AMD Radeon HD, so the AMD Catalyst software will be able to load the correct video drivers?
Please advise...
Thank you!
Hello:
I think I finally found a driver that works.
None of the other drivers that we tried was the hardware ID for the GPU to your laptop, but this one doesn't.
This package provides the AMD graphics driver high definition (HD) and Catalyst Control Center for models of laptop computers that are running an operating system supported. For laptops equipped with switchable graphics modes, this package contains the drivers for the two graphics (GPU). Switchable graphics allow users to switch between a graphical power mode (normally used under the power of the battery) and a mode of graphics performance. If the video output high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.
File name: sp69161.exe
You may need to install the driver manually if auto installation does not work.

Pavilion 15z-p200: missing Windows 7 drivers
I'm trying to downgrade my Pavilion 15z-p200 Windows 8 for Windows 7, before you get mad, that this configuration was sold as the 15z -p100.
In most, but not all, drivers are on the HP driver support page. Here is the list of what we're missing
You are the very welcome.
Please display the hardware for the unknown device ID.
To find the hardware ID, click the unknown device.
Then click on the Details tab in the upper part of the device window unknown.
Now, you see a drop-down list of property and it is set by default to the Description of the unit.
Drop down on it and select the second element (Hardware ID).
After the first string of characters you see in the window.
If the device ID reveals it's the 3D driveguard device, then you can install the driver, or leave the unknown device as is.
I have an SSD and I installed the driver to get rid of an unknown device. No negative impact on the performance of the SSD I could say.

Windows 7 drivers (especially the USB controller) on Pavilion 15-n228us
Someone wants me to downgrade their Pavilion 15-n228us of Windows 8 (which he came with) to Windows 7. I have W7 running. WiFi, wired ethernet, video, audio and all the work, but there are a few things still hurt. Device Manager displays the following "other devices" pilots are still missing:
PCI device-
SM Bus controller-
-Controller universal Serial Bus (USB)
-Unknown device
As far as I know, everything seems to work fine except that the 2 USB ports on the side LEFT of the laptop are not working (but a port on the RIGHT works fine).
Anyone able to help with this? I did the recovery disc in Windows 8 until I got rid of him so I could go back if I had to, but I'd rather not.
Hello:
First install the amd chipset driver and restart. You want the first file on the Web page.
Who should install the smbus and usb controllers.
http://support.AMD.com/en-us/download/chipset?OS=Windows%207%20-%2064
If the driver above does not install the usb3 controllers, then download and install both of these drivers.
