  I'm just trying to give my older office a little boost so I can keep it a little longer. Just to get into video editing (videos of simple talking heads HD of Canon DSLR mainly for the YouTube/web but can experiment a bit with After Effect too)

  Hello! I'm completely new to Mac and for this forum. Coming from Windows, I found the keyboard a bit confusing. So I installed carabiner, which most of the time worked like a charm.

  Then there was a notification update to Mac OS Sierra. So I did. And now the carabiner is broken. In addition, the trackpad scroll is annoyingly slow, and I realized that I just liked El Capitan more generally.

  But since I got the Mac with El Capitan, I don't have in my list of purchased on the App Store.   earlier today, I upgraded my Mac mini (end 2012) to the latest version of macOS Sierra.

  After 1 hour of use, I realized that many of my plugins FCPX were not working.
