Cannot download Captivate 8 - application error
When I try to download 8 Captivate for Windows 64-bit by using the Akamai Download Manager, I get a window that says "error during request processing". I checked in Chrome and Firefox and received the same error message. I saw there is another method for downloading, but I don't know what to do with it, and I feel that the use of Akamai is the best situation. Any suggestions? I'm pretty basic, it will help if you explain things at a level enough end. thank you.

I have a newer Tablet and need to redownload 7 Captivate. I disabled the license on my old laptop, but it will be a miracle if I can actually find as a link to the Adobe site to download the Captivate 7. Someone has a link to the real version 7 and not 8? Thanks for any help.

Difficulties to download Captivate trial 6 for mac.
Im trying to download the demo version of captivate on my mac, the akamai netsession interface is now on my desk, I go through the Setup, it does this happy noise and indicates that the installation was successful, but nothing to really happens, no new records or documents or applications, appears as a sort of dead-end.
To study, I have clickedon that akamai in 'other' my system preferences is tells me that the status is "forbidden", but I am the administrator and I've never used this before free trial version, then why am I "banned?

Please use the below mentioned instructions to download and install 6 Captivate for MAC:
- You must click on the URL below http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?loc=en_us&product=captivate
- Then login with your Adobe ID and password (if necessary).
- Then copy and paste the below mentioned URL in the same window, as shown below:
http://trials3.Adobe.com/AdobeProducts/CPTV/6/OSX10/Captivate_6_LS12.dmg
- Then press enter on the keyboard and save the file mentioned above, one by one in the folder created on the desktop.
- Then click on the DMG file to extract and install 6 Captivate.
- Once the file is extracted and install Adobe Captivate 6

Clear the cache of your browser and make sure you only have enabled cookies.

Problems with downloading Adobe Captivate
I bought the monthly subscription for 9 Captivate. I received an email with a link, but need me only to places where I can manage my plans, my account, etc. When I click on Captivate 9, it says I have no registration number to enter. I had no problem at all downloading items this subscription cloud creatives, but I desperately need to download Captivate 9 today. Can someone direct me to the correct location. I would like to discuss, but it is closed today. Thank you to those who can help.

Install the trial version. When you sign in with your Adobe ID it will recognize.

Where can I find the link to download subscription 8 Captivate?
I had to buy another laptop and know that I have to download Captivate 8 subscription and I looked in my adobe account settings and I see not all download links as if I had before. Help, please! I have to make changes to a customer experience build so I need to get this support as soon as possible.

Download trial version 8 Captivate
I'm trying to download Captivate to show to a client who wishes to use it.
I went to http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=captivate
and chose English Mac.
I had a very small image DMG.
I opened the dmg.
I double clicked on the pkg to install. I got an installation dialog box.
I agree to the agreement.
I had a standard installation screen.
I was suspicious that 31 MB seemed awfully small for a large application. But I clicked on install.
A few seconds later I learned that the installation was successful.
I looked for Adobe Captivate in my Applications folder. He wasn't there.
I tried another browser. I got a fatal error.
I tried the direct download link. Nothing happened. And I've waited a long time.
I tried another browser. Same steps. Same problems.

Question on the Captivate download
I started the download Captivate 7 process. The Akamai Installer has been downloaded beforehand, it worked OK, but it now produces a browser window that says, at the top, Adobe Captivate 7.0 English Windows full download. Under this sentence, is an install now button. Other than the browser window is black.
If I click on the install now button, nothing seems to happen. But if I try to close the window, I get a warning saying that "close this window interrupts the download. Thus, this window is on my desk for over an hour. There is no way to tell if something is actually being downloaded or installed. I can't find Adobe Captivate on my PC so I assume that it has not yet installed actually. So - I keep waiting, forever? Start over? It seems to be a poorly designed user interface as there is no way of knowing what is happening.

Is it still possible to download Captivate 5.5 from the website? Our license only covers 5.5, and while decide us whether to update to Captivate 6, we will have to re - install. We never had the discs that the package has been downloaded from the web site in the first place.
