• Flash Player download, but cannot see the content.

  I tried to install Flash Player for three days. I went through every step of the support that has been listed and I still don't see any content. Started with installation, did not work. then uninstall and reinstall didn't work. Upgrade browser, did not. The settings for Internet Explorer, has failed. Checked the Admin Access, did not work. Search the registry (described in support for adobe), nothing wrong. I also have Norton Internet Utilities and I went in the settings of the firewall and allowed all the active x and flash content, still nothing.

Kudos to Adobe for taking the time to call from CA to PA and solving a problem of Microsoft! If several pages of support companies were like that, there will be many more happy users. • . CBV file type displays the content rather that give download options

  I just changed my Web site hosting provider; old and new providers of Linux services.
  My site is scottishcca.co.uk - a site of chess by correspondence - and I use Win7 and 26.0 Firefox.
  There is a page (members/downloads) where members can download files of games of chess and e-magazines - the page is password protected using htaccess/htpasswd which works well.
  Each e-magazine has 4 download links: pdf, zip and pgn all work fine, but cbv does not - it just displays the contents of the file in the browser page. What needs to happen is that the browser should display a dialog box asking if the file should be opened with ChessBase 11 database software (which is associated with the type of file .cbv on my computer - I checked my default program settings). File .pgn type is also associated with the ChessBase 11 database software and working properly - the dialog box allows me to open or save.
  All the links work correctly when I use Google Chrome.
  I'm puzzled - advice please!

  I think I have a solution for this. I went back to my new hosting provider (easyspace) and received this response:

  I did some research on this for you and have a suggestion for you to try.
  It is possible that Firefox is not to recognize the MIME Type application/cbv, because it is not just a registered IANA MIME Type.
  You could try instead of application/octet-stream, which is a generic MIME Type for non-text files.
  This idea came to me while reading the page at https://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Properly_Configuring_Server_MIME_Types and this document can give you more of an idea of why this does not work in Firefox.
  Can you try this please and let me know how you go.

  I implemented the suggestion of Gerry via .htaccess in my root directory and everything works now (after clearing the cache of Firefox). Maybe you could send Gerry an certificate of ability!

• The download window appears when the file download but not display download status or maintain the list of downloads as in the past - how to restore this option?

  Formerly the download window showed the State of the download in process and retained a list of files downloaded until I deleted from the list. Now an empty download window appears automatically when I download a file. The window does not reflect the status of the download, download name, etc.. But there is no display of downloaded files. How to restore the function of the download window? I checked the option to display the download window when downloading.

  Check some settings:

  • Options > privacy > [X] do not forget the download history

  • When the use of clear recent history or erase automatically history when Firefox closes, do not check download history

• Display multiple lines of data collection defined by the user in an e-mail message

  I created a collection defined by the user that displays several lines of data. I created a custom rule and have linked this collection set by the user to this rule and configure an e-mail action. Variable Seveity, I have defined it in the rule to contain the column values. But it will only contain the first line of data. How can I display multiple lines of data in the alarm itself as well as the e-mail? Any help is appreciated.

  If you are looking to exhaust the entire screen with content regardless of the size of the browser called sensitive sites and unfortunately that are not supported in Muse. However, you can have some content such as backgrounds, slideshows and videos be full width.

• During the download, the download window Panel is not displayed

  Download Panel not always window, downloading updates, i.e., Adobe, etc. There are opinions a bit at the bottom of the screen that shows the downloads are complete, but then it disappears. I have to manually go into the download folder to find the update and run it. Very annoying.

  I have looked around for a solution, but no one seems to have this problem.

  Firefox handles downloads in the downloads folder in the library (history > show history)

  • Downloads are treated as elements of history: history of compensation removes the download items which are part and vice versa.

  When a download is in progress, then you see a download button animation on the toolbar for Navigation showing an estimate of the time remaining change in a download highlighted button when the download is complete to make you aware that there are new downloads.

  You can view the new download manager in a tab by opening the topic: downloads page and consider opening this page in a separate window.

  You most likely need a Codec package for your video player. The codecare like translators who take the image video format and encode or decode for display in your favorite media player. I would recommend that you download and install the K-Lite Codec pack from here.

Clicking on anything then it happens causes the tag (not responding) for 15 to 20 seconds.

  When in a text field, I have entry with barcode scanner, a download window appears in the Firefox browser. Although a law of bars as a keyboard input device, it does not present the download window.   Have you started Mozilla After unchecking the window downloads to show when downloading a file?
  Could you provide your photo under the general tab of the Tools-> OptionsMozilla?
