  Dreamweaver CS3.   Until yesterday, when I downloaded the files, I get a popup asking if I wanted to download dependent files. I'm not sure what I changed but now I don't get that. It is automatically downloaded the file that I want to AND dependent on all the files including 90% of the time I don't want to do.  What changed and how to change this back?

  I would like to know how to play my SWF file only once, when I select CTRL + ENTER to test the file.  Currently it continues just looping.  I tried not stop(); but it freezes to the framework.  I tried also Stop at nothing doesn't.  In Dreamweaver, you can import the SWF file and program it to play only once.  I did it: http://www.vfw969.org.  However, I would like to create an index.fla file that does the same thing while I am able to add some improvements to the page.  Thank you.

  In this upper layer named Actions, nothing in this last keyframe (picture 25).  This is where you will place the stop(); command.  The Actions window open, select the image and type stop(); in the Actions Panel.  If you do it right, there should be a lower case 'a' in this last image when finished and the animtion must stop here.

  Deepak gives good advice on filtering to ensure that the files you want to download. But you can select up to 50 files to download simultaneously.

• Reading, writing datalog file only once

  Can someone tell me why I can only read/write to a file once datalog.  Once the file created, read and written to it will not work the second time.  I tried to adjust the position without success even if the default position is at the beginning of the file and the first record.

• Download too many dependent files.

  In Dreamweaver CS5 and earlier, when I said 'yes' to download on my remote server receive files, it only downloaded a new file or changed. Now, if I say 'yes' it looks like all the files on my site and decides whether to download or not to transfer. It examines every file that is connected to the bar of navigation at the bottom of each page. I tried to let it load, unsynchronize my files and then synchronize them snack again the dates were wrong.

  It is new to Dreamweaver CS6 or can someone tell me how to configure it so it can be set to download dependent files, but it does seem that the new files or changed, like all earlier versions.

  I'm working on a Windows 7 64 bit computer.

  Thanks for the reply. I used Dreamweaver because it was a baby with Macromedia, and this has never happened before. In CS6, it tried to download the whole site, not only the necessary files or the current page. I did correct the problem, see below.

  I solved the problem by downloading differently, I did with previous versions. I hope that what I wrote below helps.

  First I now checked both ask for get and put in the preferences. Now, if I declare that the dependent files must download, all (even those not newer than on the remote control) will download unless I press "Cancel". If I click on 'No to all', they always go through the process of trying to download as in the screenshot below. To prevent this, I have to say 'Yes' on the dependent files. say 'Yes' to those I want to downloaded would be files that are new or changed and then click 'Cancel' when it on demand for all other connected to this page, which included essentially all the files on my site since I was a navigation bar on each page. As I said, if I say 'No' or 'not at all', it will still go through all the files.

  Now, the above works for me perfectly even if it adds a few steps.

  This may seem like a silly question, but I got a problem which is driving me crazy that I can't find a way to solve it.

  Whenever I have download files in my DW file manager it will not post only this specific file but also all the other files. For example, I edit a html file, download it and when its done it loads also all mp3s embeded and videos and css all these shit that takes hours.
  I'm sure there is a way to tell DW to download only the file I want to download, but I can't find it in the configuration.

  Furthermore, I use DW CS4.

  I have CS4, but if you look in the preferences in the Site section it may have something to do in this regard (Edit-> preferences-> Site).  It foresees in CS3 which allows to choose if they want to be prompted to download dependent files.  In CS3, deselection of these options is supposed to be no transfer of the dependent files (mine is not checked, but still encourages).  It may be different in CS4, but in this article, there is a help button that leads to the explanations of the parameters.

  I was wondering, I have, is if you get a command prompt or not to the topic to download dependent files when you try to download the file.  If so, this would be where you specify does not do this.

  2. Are you having a similar problem with all files or any download specific file only?
  3. Are you able to download and save files from other sites?

  I suggest that you try to download other files on the same site and check if it works.

  I suggest you check that the recording location of the file when you are prompted to save the file and check later to this place.

  You cannot download files, but you can download several files at the same time. There is "drag and drop" upload and there is also the download action you can get from the blue action button. You can create folders before or after you download the files; and move files and folders as needed.

  If you use IE9 or earlier you can not download mutiple files at once. It was design by Microsoft, but multiple file upload is allowed in IE10, IE11.

  You can also register sycing file of this page http://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/file-and-typekit-font-sync-rolling-out/. Once admitted, you will be able to synchronize files and folders on your computer.

  For our company, we work with many files on firefox.

  On a computer, when we download a file (Open Office), it does not replace old file, we downloaded before. The system adds (1), (2), on behalf of the end of the file. When we have to save this file, we have so many files for the same thing but with several versions.
  In the Options, I checked that Firefox always ask for the download location. And enforcement, asking for all Open Office files.
  For other computers, there is no problem.

  I think that, by resetting download action, can solve your problem.

  To reset all the how many files types are managed by Firefox, return to the default value:

  Open your profile folder:

  First, at the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button, hover over the menu help and select troubleshooting information. The troubleshooting information tab will open.
  Then, in the Basics section of the Application, click Show file. It will open a window with your profile files.

  Then, at the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select leave
  Then, rename the mimeTypes.rdf file to mimeTypes.rdf.old.
  After all, restart Firefox.

  Thanks for your reply. Here's more detail on the issue and how I finally found the answer.

  When you edit a page, then upload it to the server, the first time a pop-up window if poster asks if you want to include all dependent files in the download. I hit accidentally Yes. What makes each modification and upgrade to a page take longer to download, because you download all the dependent files associated with the update of the page. I wanted to find where I could cancel this selection.

  While waiting for a response, I found the answer online. It's in the Preferences section... Site > dependent files: Prompt on get/check (this must be checked to NOT include dependent files each time downloading updates or changes).

  The upgrade will not help. No version of Acrobat can do that.

  The only way this is possible (and I'm still not 100% sure on this subject) is using DRM technology, which is very expensive.

  You can install cc on an unlimited number of computers.  the only practical limitation is that you need to access the computer to 'sign-in' on any computer that you want to use with cc.

  So yes, you can reset your computer without problem.  You can logout of cc before restoring it, but even if you forget you can disconnect from your computer no more-non-existent after reset using a new connection attempt.
