  Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  When going with drivers for all laptops always stick with links and tools from manufacturers.  The reason is that pilots have been designed for this application.  They can use a similar number as a GT750 however chip the chip built for laptop him more often were modified slightly to adapt to demand.

  Link at the bottom, so only use the drivers from HP and tools for your HP laptop.  Direct drivers from the chipset manufacturer may not be the same and ask questions for you.

  On the Toshiba driver graphics drivers are always the latest drivers available for the unique laptop series.
  The point is that graphics drivers from Toshiba are not the same thing as original manufacturers GPU graphics drivers.

  Anyway, is there a way to install the driver nVidia GPU.
  You could install from Device Manager and that you use the Advanced installation.

  I have recently installed Windows 8 Pro, installed all of my usual applications etc..
  The problem I've encountered is maintaining display driver crashing. Or have waiting periods. The exact error message reads;
  "Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver Version 306.97 has stopped working and recovered."
  Until now it expires randomly even when the computer is idle, and more frequently when I watch videos online. Also, watch a clip full screen on some sites like YouTube is ok, but on others, it is very laggy (updated maybe once per second the image) and the sound is out of sync.
  I can't find a way to properly uninstall the graphics driver.

  At least yours is working semi... I have the GTS 450 (uses the same drivers) and the mine does not at all... Stuck with the regular game pilot integrated ATM and can not all games... Microsoft told me to wait a few weeks and for the reminder and Nvida said 10 ways to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for same. Hope someone with to get a fix for this soon.

Before you suggest that I throw more money after that bad by adds still more the cost of what has been a rotten, 2ndhand purchase buy a Toshiba Windows Media DVD, I lost already from £310 for a laptop unusable from the beginning and therefore need to minimize any additional spending bought Windows I already paid for.

  Fortunately I have taken note of the MS registration KEY shortly after purchase. If he had not been in the day before my flight, I obviously would have returned for refund.
