Download iCloud

I'm a bit confused about iCloud. I noticed that images of the iPhone are appearing on iCloud.com, what is good; but I need local copies of images and in the opening. Is this possible?

You can download all the photos in your iCloud Phot library via the web interface at www.icloud.com.

Www.icloud.com open, connect with your AppleID, and then launch the Photos.app.

Open the Photos.app on this page and select the photos in the photo album of all.

You can select a range of photos at once by selecting a single photo, hold down the SHIFT key, selecting the last pictures.

Click the download button, and then import them into Aperture.

Opening cannot synchronize with iCloud photo library, only the Photos to Mac app.

You can stream your devices to Aperture, if you select my photo stream on your iPhone, iPad, etc. and in the opening.

Or, if you synchronize Photos for Mac on your Mac with iCloud, you can use the command "share > add to open" in the Photos.

It's essentially what I'm doing, synchronization with iCloud by using photo library and sending the finished opening for archiving photos.

Is there a way I can download the Keynote presentation on my iPhone to iCloud so that are stored on the device?

    Thank you

    -Mike

    Hello, Soniq2!

Be able to access your presentations Keynote on the thumb is certainly handy, and I understand that you may have access to the internet to obtain via iCloud.

If you know that you will not have access to the internet, but you will need your Keynote presentations, you can download them from iCloud on your computer (if they are not already there), and then transfer from the computer to your iPhone using iTunes.

The following article will help you download icloud on your computer.

Keynote for iCloud: download a presentation on your computer

Once your presentations on the computer, you can then use iTunes to transfer them to your iOS device following the instructions in the article from the link below.

Even if the title of the article says it's for an iPad, the instructions will work for all iOS devices, including your iPhone.

  • How can I select all the photos to download icloud on a Mac?

I do the thing IT Manager family.

My daughter moved into a House with the lousy broadband (0.5Mbit / s!).  She had already signed for storage iCloud and used pictures of iCloud for several years with his iPhone & iPad.  She has now a large number of photos & videos (ex iPhone & iPad) in iCloud, but also a large number of old photos in her photo album on his MBP (which she didn't register to iCloud Photos with).  I would get all of his photos on iCloud and in Photos in his MBP, and she can stop trying to use the thing iCloud until she gets a better broadband connection (and just sync with USB, in the traditional way!).

I use iCloud Photos myself and find it very confusing - iCloud Photos, photo, pictures of iCloud sharing stream...

However, I don't see an easy way of simply by downloading everything.  If I access iCloud Photos via Safari, I can download photos, but there seems to be no option "Select all", then by selecting several hundred photos will be tedious say the least.

If I sign his MBP Photos up to iCloud, it goes, I guess, download all her photos to iCloud, ok, BUT, it will automatically download all her old photos on iCloud and probably exceed its storage limit, but also take a long time (45 GB - if I have fiber at home, so perhaps tolerable).

I did a little research and can find no easy answers.  One possibility is to create an empty photo library on the MBP, sign up to iCloud, wait for synchronization, the export of all photos in a folder, re-import the old library of Photos and then delete again.  Seems possible, but tedious.

    All the best ideas?

FWIIW, my daughter MBP is a mid-2009 13 ", just updated (by the family IT Manager!) to el Capitan. a little slow and only 250 and only 70 GB available.

Go to a place where the internet is faster. Turn on iCloud photos on Mac.

This will put all the photos in the cloud and on Mac.

Once done, turn off iCloud photo library.

  • Photos not downloading icloud

    I use a Mac with OS X 10.11.4 load.  I also have Photos v 1.5

In the Photos, I have iCloud library enabled, and 'Download this Mac originals '.  I also have an iPhone 6 and iPad 2 Air, both iOS 9.3 operating and with iCloud library lit.

My question is this: when I first set up library, all synchronized on all three devices without any problem.  However I find now that photos taken on the iPhone to the iCloud library download (at least the phone says it has ' updated earlier ") but they don't not download to the Mac.  Instead the pictures on the Mac says just "Download x items" and it stays like that.

If I delete the pictures from the phone and then the Mac will return to normal.  The only other alternative I've met is to disable the photo library and restart, or completely disconnect from iCloud and then sign back in again.  But both require a new synchronization.

    Someone at - it ideas?

PS I've seen similar posts from other users of the forum, but not a response yet.  Hours/days for pictures to download when I have a connection should really be high-speed fiber?

  • Download iCloud photos to External Hard drive maxing out on my Mac hard drive

My photo library was therefore mainly on iCloud due to its size, but I wanted have also stored it locally. So I bought a large external hard drive, plugged and copied my library of Photos of her. I made library of the external hard drive the library 'system' and click on ' download originals of this Mac. "

My photo library increased from 5 GB to 127.5 GB local. Strangely, my iMac's hard drive began to be filled with hundreds of gigabytes of 'Other' files. Near 458 GB of "Other" files. I had to move even more files on the external drive just to make my iMac service as the new mysterious files are maxing out my hard drive.

I'm sure that the download is at the origin of these mysterious "other" files. The download is almost complete. Is what I assume to be deleted by the Photos app temporary system files? I can't find the source of these files. My iMac utility disk tells me I have files over 121 million, while that the Finder tells me that I have only ~ 1 800 elements.

Should I just make the trip to the Genius Bar, or this should be resolved once the download is complete? Late 2009 iMac, 500 GB; 1.3 photos.

    Thanks in advance.

Let the full download and then check - it will probably be fine

    Hello

So, I bought an iPad Mini about 2 years ago and I've just started using iCloud backup yesterday. I already have all my photos on iCloud photos, so they had already sent to my iPad. The only problem I encounter is how to download videos on iCloud photos so that these can also be placed on my iPad? Whenever I select upload, I select the videos that I would like to upload, but an error message appears indicating that there was a problem downloading this file... only files in JPEG format can be downloaded.

What should I do? I tried several times and I also downloaded iCloud for windows and tried downloading again but repeat me download (items # white) under iCloud pictures when I click on the windows button bit iCloud in my taskbar of the time. What should I do? How to download videos?

  • Download Photo library iCloud to new drive

    Hello.

Problems at several levels with my Mac and will need probably need to download icloud library my pictures and my videos on a properly installed new hard drive.

Once connected and downloading is done, how much time should I keep the Library open and intact while the Mac writes what it takes? I have a little less 40 GB in size with a little less than 13,000 positions.

    Thanks for your help.

You can use it while it is downloading and it downloads in the background so it doesn't have to be open - it must be powered, awake and have internet available to download so keep awake - 13 000 will take some time, but no one can predict exactly how long--two many uncontrollable varriables

  • Library of mobile Photos with iCloud library enabled

TL; DR: Library of Photos while using iCloud does not merge, but adds the entire library to iCloud, once again, in my case upgrade my plan of storage while plenty of space for this merger

    All,

I have been using iCloud photo library for a long time now to synchronize photos between devices, and.

I'm running out of space in the drive of my Mac, and I wanted to move the library to the SD card, so I followed the steps to copy the folder and then selecting the alt-click on the Photos icon library.

It works, all (or most) of the exhibition of photos very well.

When I go into Preferences > iCloud he says "iCloud for Photos features are available in the library of the system", so I go to Preferences > general and click 'Use as library system' which I think is the correct step since I don't want to spend the entire hard drive and SD card is always connected (it's a Transcend JetDrive Lite 330 enough to store things I don't usually work) (such as photos, music, files ISO and VMs). ICloud options are available click on, so I check 'iCloud photo library' and then it starts to redownload my entire library

Since the library is the same, I wasn't expecting to download and let me upgrade my iCloud-storage plan. I did, for fear of deleting something, but I have always received a lot of space in my 50 GB plan that I can see in system preferences > iCloud (using the ~ 37 GB).

This is the expected behavior and what I need to download again, all my photos? They're all here already!

Are there additional steps to follow when moving the library AND iCloud is activated? I sure miss what is obvious, but I followed all the steps described in official documents and other internet resources, nothing helps, that is: no way to avoid the double space in iCloud so spend my iCloud storage plan.

    Thank you!

    Yes.

Photos will download the library once again, because it cannot be sure that the library has moved is completely identical.  It is downloaded again and check for duplicates. Once the download is complete, you use more storage than before iCloud, but it will take a lot of time.

But it shouldn't be necessary to upgrade the storage plan. You should be able to demote him again as soon as the download is complete.

What I do, when I want to move the library to a new location is to create a new empty library on the new drive and then turn on the library empty as the iCloud photo library. The library will be downloaded icloud in the empty library instead of download. It's faster and avoid the prompt to upgrade storage iCloud. But the drawback is that I need to name all the faces again, given that the faces does not synchronize to iCloud. And the projects will be missing.  I'm keeping a copy of the original library in the new location, so I can use old projects and can find faces in the event of doubt about a name.

But if I delete a photo from my PC folder, it does not synchronize back and vice versa, deleting photos on the server does nothing on the PC, but it does for the phone and the skate.

  • Print thumbnail photos as a contact sheet in iCloud Photos

I have a series of screenshots, taken by my iPhone and uploaded to iCloud, I need to print as thumbnails.  What I call a "Board-contact".  Here is a series of text messages, that I need to print evidence in support.  There are many of them and I do not wish to print them just like the pictures in full size!  Questions...

    (1) can I print directly from iCloud?

    (2) can I print photos from iCloud?

    (3) otherwise, how to send these photos to my iPhoto, where I know I can print pictures?

    (4) why isn't it easy to locate? !!! (Frustrated...)

The only way I know is to do a manual download iCloud.com/photos. Click Photos to select, and then hold down the option/alt key while clicking the photos. Click on download. Select your computer, and then import into iPhoto.

  • ICloud or player?

My LT crashed a few months ago and I always try to find files.  I got ICloud backup on my Iphone6s & PC, but my new LT has 10 windows and it uses a disc.  I was wondering if I can ever get back what's on ICloud?  I need to download iCloud for my new LT? I don't know if we need to use a reader or get the download to ICloud.

    Confused in the clouds...

iCloud backup only covers iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) devices. These devices can save on a computer using iTunes and/or they can save on iCloud. The only thing you can do with a backup of an iOS device to iCloud is to use to restore or implement an iOS device.

It is not possible to back up a computer (Mac or Windows PC) to iCloud. However, it is possible to synchronize data of computers in iCloud and save files to iCloud by car. You can use any computer to connect to https://www.icloud.com/ to see and retrieve the data you have stored in iCloud (except for the iOS device backups that are stored in iCloud but not visible since iCloud.com).

For backups of iOS and to synchronize data like Contacts, iCloud would be the standard choice. For other things - it depends on a number of factors, including your goals. For example, if you use Microsoft Office on your Windows PC and your iOS device, you find that it is easier to use a reader. If you subscribe to Office 365, which includes 1 TB of storage on a disk, so it can be a good choice financially.
