Download iOS 7-video

Hi all

I just watched the video "New Look improves Digital Asset Manager with WebCenter' (here: http://medianetwork.oracle.com/video/player/2606897886001 )"

I investigated solutions of dam for the assessment and I have a question (I hope) pretty simple about WebCenter.

What I found with many products that use a standard interface to download HTML, it is only by using iOS 7 it is impossible to load a video.

If I record a video on an iPad with iOS 7, unless I have use some sort of special application to process the video first, I can't download it via a html page on a Web site...

Everyone fell on this?

And this is the case even with WebCenter, and if so, how others overcome this?

I don't know if I'm reading the question correctly or if sonull is, but I think that you ask for work ootb. I'm really surprised he does!

You can see on my two screenshots that you can download a video and a picture directly from ios7 via the standard WebCenter content portal. It integrates with Photos so it asks if you want to choose and existing or capture a new photo or video. I tried with an iphone, but I expect to behave the same on an ipad.

I checked both of my test posts landed in the content server like any other element. everything worked well.

I think that comments about dam did not apply to the issue of check that you initially requested.

Now, that being said, the interface is not the best UX autour in this form. There are options to customize your own top WebCenter solution, but at least the HTML check-in works

In addition, there is now a mobile application for WebCenter as of the 11.1.1.8, but its features are quite limited. It does not currently check in content.

I would like to know if that helps at all!
