• vCenter object & DataStore browser - Question.

  Hello. Thanks for posting.

  Currently I have not access to a system of vCenter as the 'sandbox' laboratory is upgraded and won't be complete until next week.

  The object and the data browsers store: are they really different, or are they just the same browser with access to different points of view? If they are different or the same thing, is there not another method that can be used to display data warehouses and objects? I swear that to remember that all this is accessible through the vSphere via Connection Client to vCenter.

  Could someone polease confirm the foregoing, one way or the other.

  By object browser, I assume you mean the Managed Object Browser (MOB) interface. They differ in their scope and functionality, although you can probably get similar information.   I'll assume you have console access, go to the data store where the configuration of the virtual machine is stored. Edit the file and look for the entry "uuid.location" and simply change the first two numbers to do anything, say 11 and then save the file. Now return to the store of data browser and re - register your virtual machine, your VM should now appear once again and then try to turn on the virtual computer. • Why can't use the firefox browser or download a newer version for my office xp more?

  After successfully using the firefox browser for many years on my old desktop pc it stopped working three days ago. It does not load now when I click the icon on the start menu and I can't get ms explorer to accept the option to download off your web page, there is simply nothing!

  COR - el... You are a genius! Thank heaven, a simple solution for me. I pushed the key F11 key before dinner... nothing. After dinner... refreshed & ready to attack again. I went to support via clicking on your email down... then clicked on site that you highlighted to see if I missed something. No, exactly as you explained. BUT I watched questions alongside your message of support to see if they shed any light. The last issue said a woman how to make something disappear... then told him to go see and bring things back. I was not sure but thought if I could get the F11 to work click on view and see if all there help.
  I have had no back arrows so had to move from one page of AOl email to support and again through windows I could switch and make it appear at the top. I pressed F11 hard and voila! The menu bar is back... so I went to see. And you know the answer... clicked on toolbars and the navigation toolbar was not selected! Clicked and I am in service again!

• When I have a file which is downloading the download on the browser arrow is grayed out and nothing happens when I click it.

  Previously, when I want to download a file, the download at the top of the browser window arrow would be green and when I clicked it it would bring a window showing all of the current or previous downloads that I had not emptied. Now the arrow could become green again briefly, but then quickly goes gray, and when I try to click on it, nothing comes up. To view the download window, I have to go to the Firefox menu, then click on the word downloads.

  The new version is fine, but I don't know why you would do this change. This is no logic coming from Firefox because I think it's you guys who presents the Download Manager window. Anyone who uses Firefox knows that when you close the window, the downloads remain... at least until now. Maybe an option during installation?

  I, as well as others I know not switched back to Firefox from Chrome due to latency issues, but I'm sure that many of your users is returned to Chrome or IE misfortune because of this problem.

  You can set the pref browser.download.manager.quitBehavior to 2 on the topic: config page.

  That will make Firefox asks for confirmation if you want to cancel the download when you close Firefox.
