  With regard to Revel:

  You can install free revel if you are a paid subscriber or not. I don't know why or how you got to pay apple site. Maybe you clicked on a link.

  On your ipad and iphone, you can go to the app store, search for revel and press "install". There is not a new version for mac, but you can go on the mac app store and install version 1.10.

  I think you have to be a little more specific.
  Why you can t download patches or updates? You get an error message or what is exactly happening?

  For me, it seems that antivirus or firewall blocking downloads. You should check the options and enable downloads!
  In addition, test different browsers!

  In fact, the driver of Windows 7 made good automatic duplex printing - no patch is required for Windows 7 [edit - this is true for fresh installation.  For the versions of Vista the patch may be used for Windows 7].  The default value for some printers, is that the duplexer is 'not installed', please check the Duplex Printing Troubleshooting Guide for Vista.  In Windows 7, the procedure is slightly different, in the folder printers click twice on the 7410, double-click the icon 'Customize your printer', device settings and under installable options go "Duplex for two back" on installed, OK.

  I've been looking for a good place to get the fixes for older games pc game.  I know that the best place is the site of publishers, but sometimes they stop making them available (e.g. FEAR).  I looked at a few well known places to get them, but they all require way too much personal information.  I don't feel comfortable giving my life away just to get a pc game patch.  It seems just a little scary to me for them to ask a lot of personal information.

  The games that I need patches for are Doom 3, Quake 4, AFRAID and prey.
  If you know of a good site, please report it.

  Yes, I understand your point of wanting to get your money to buy a game.  I recommend you always go to the site of the game manufactures video you must first update.  There are so many third party sites for patches, you want to be sure that it is a trustworthy site.  Please let me know if you have other questions/concerns.

  I received an alert from the Dell Support Center yesterday about the imminent threat of the virus April Fools Day and was directed to a MS site where I had to download a patch for this virus.  Once I downloaded and tried to run, I received a message that the patch was not compatible with my system.  I have a Windows Vista Home Premium, SP1 XPS 410.  I do not understand why Dell turn off this alert for my machine if it was not compatible.  Any comments/input will be appreciated.
