    Since Acrobat Reader downloaded DC I can't sign my PDF documents. It does not give me the option more and yes I am connected. On the old version, I got no problem with clicking on "signature" and draw the area where I needed my signature, put the password and "POOF" my signature would be there. With this new version, it won't do that or give me the option. The online help is useless. I need to explain to me how connect you as I used too?

    I assumed that you had a digital signature created in your player application of old and whenever you use to fill out a pdf with a signature field signed you it. But in order to draw and then sign you must use Acrobat Pro DC no DC drive.

  • Storage of MS-Word and PDF documents in the database that is downloaded through APEX

    I want to enable users to download MS-Word and PDF documents that they created / edited outside of the app to the APEX for storage in the database with other data in the app.

    I know that I should use a queue item browse an area for this purpose.
    I have a few questions:
    1. what type of database data is best for storage of MS-Word and PDF docs? CLOB?
    2. How can the user see that the file has been downloaded? In other words, how can they see the name of the file has been downloaded? I want to show this on the page for later viewing. I downloaded a document, but later, I have no way to see that the document has actually been downloaded. On the page of the APEX, the browse file evidence not whether or not a previously downloaded file.
    3. how the user can download the previously downloaded?
    4. is there a way to give users the ability to edit a document in an APEX application where they can do the editing of type MS-Word (the font size, type of font, bold, italic, etc.)?

    I know I ask myself a lot here and I appreciate your comments.

    In my case, I am downloading screenshots of my application and then display them. You can feel free to use it if you want, the code has been taken for most examples of downloads of files sent by others. Here is a code to help you get started:

    Description Table file

    CREATE TABLE FILE_UPLOAD
       (name           VARCHAR2(4000) PRIMARY KEY,
        subject        VARCHAR2(4000),
        id             NUMBER,
        blob_content   BLOB,
        mime_type      VARCHAR2(4000),
        PAGE_ID        NUMBER);

    How to download file

    IF ( :P20_FILE_NAME is not null ) THEN
         INSERT INTO FILE_UPLOAD (id, NAME, SUBJECT, BLOB_CONTENT, MIME_TYPE, PAGE_ID)
          SELECT ID,:P20_FILE_NAME,:P20_SUBJECT, blob_content, mime_type, :P20_PAGE_ID
                FROM APEX_APPLICATION_FILES
                WHERE name = :P20_FILE_NAME;
       DELETE from APEX_APPLICATION_FILES WHERE name = :P20_FILE_NAME;

      htp.p('Content-length: ' || v_length);
        -- the filename will be used by the browser if the users does a save as
      htp.p('Content-Disposition:  attachment; filename="'||replace(replace(substr(v_file_name,instr(v_file_name,'/')+1),chr(10),null),chr(13),null)|| '"');

        -- download the BLOB
      wpg_docload.download_file( Lob_loc );
    end download_my_file;

    don't forget to grant rights of procedure for the use by any person

      owa_util.http_header_close;

    Again, ensure that everyone has rights to execute the procedure.

    GRANT EXECUTE ON DISPLAY_IMAGE TO PUBLIC

    This does not create an editor in the browser, it simply creates a process simple upload/display. For a WYSIWYG editor that manages the PDF format or doc, you need something much more sophisticated, and I can't propose something here.

  • Can't open or download PDF Firefox 40

    I want to read the specifications of a product of IBM describes on page http://www-01.ibm.com/common/ssi/cgi-bin/ssialias?subtype=SP & infotype = PM & appname = STGE_ZS_ZS_USEN & htmlfid = ZSD03035USEN & ZSD03035USEN = attachment. PDF #loaded

    This page looks like my browser, arbitrarily decides that there is no support for PDF, probably by checking the presence of the Adobe plugin and therefore fails to generate a < embed > for the PDF file. But it does not include a link:

    «< a class = "ibm-pdf-link" href = "http://public.dhe.ibm.com/common/ssi/ecm/zs/en/zsd03035usen/ZSD03035USEN.PDF" > download < /a > PDF»

    However when I click on the link nothing happens. I have the default option of the use of the builtin documents Viewer enabled.

    Then and I went to tried a number of other PDF documents on the web. For example, PDF documents on my own web site, that allows to work well, as http://www.jamescobban.net/Newsletters/Newsletter2015_06.pdf. The browser opens a window that says it all: blank and nothing happens.

    How can I download or view PDF documents using 40 FF?

    In addition to the question that more and more web sites are asking explicitly the browser if it has the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader plugin, which is not available on Linux, I got it work.

    Hey there, Yank7!

    Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I understand from the information provided, you have PDFs in iBooks on your iPhone that you want to transfer to your MacBook Pro. Certainly, I know how it is to have access to all your files on multiple devices and am happy to help you!

    If you have downloaded the PDF files directly from iBooks, you can use iBooks on your Mac to locate your download history and download them directly to the Mac.  If you got your PDF documents from other sources, iCloud Drive is a great way for you to sync on all your devices. The article below will help you get iCloud drive configured.

  • I don't want I'm veiwing to automatically download the documents, I want low them first.

    Hello
    I did an online course for the past year. I get all my work booklets from a site through my collage, in the past I clicked on booklets of work and they opened in another page, so I can read, this page gives me the possibility to print or download them to my computer if I want to. A message always used to pop up when I choose the option to download on my computer (sorry I don't know really what it says) and I always used to click Yes. There was an option to not ask this question again, so I clicked it. Now when I want to open one of these books work automatically download them to my computer and I don't want to do that. How can I get him to stop?

    Thank you Layla

    My guess is that these booklets are PDF documents. Try to update your configuration to a PDF under Options > Applications such as described in this article: view in Firefox PDF files. Does it work?
