  Hello everyone,
  
  There may be no black-and-white answer, but I wanted to ask a quick question about scripts...
  
  We have developed a script SQL (in a simple text file) for the treatment of the data and that all works fine. Now plan us to hand over users and so want to "attach everything" and remove the possibility of error.
  
  Users may continue to call the script (as what) but I'm a little worried that the text file can mingle or users could follow the instructions of evil.
  
  Of course I could convert all in PL/SQL, but this would involve a major effort and we would lose so can the same to run the script (i.e. for test purposes) selective blocks.
  
  What would be ideal, it is if we were to "transfer" the script for the oracle database and run it there (maybe using a PL/SQL call?). Then, as and when we need to, we could replace the script.
  
  Does anyone have advice on this? Is there such a thing as "Script on the server? Or should it be PL/SQL?

  What does your script?

  If you can convert PL/SQL, do. It should be possible to write a package with a single point of entry for users to run. To test the script you can make public procedure calls in your test environment for conditional compilation.

  Something like

  For each of these test procedures you either create a packet header to test each procedure in the stock market or use you conditional compilation where calls to aa, bb,... are not public in your test database.

  PL/SQL is a programming language on the server side. So the answer is no if you have a shared drive on your server that points to your client you can. But that opens all kinds of security problems.

  It is usual, but not absolutely necessary, for the emails to download from the server to the TB Inbox e-mail account and then delete them from the server.

  I personally, clear all but the last 30 days on the server, whereas between my monthly backup and emails on the server, I was able to recover most, if not all the mail loss.

  You could get the emails on the server, but you will notice that all dates seem to change the date when you put them back on the server.

• How can I download my favorite offline to synchronize the server to synchronize their?

  Firefox is the only browser that I use and I have tons of bookmarks. I use Firefox Sync to synchronize my favorite devices mainly on 4 (2 desktop, 1 laptop and 1 tablet). With the previous model of the synchronization of Firefox I had to ask for a quota increase mentioning that I'm going to need only the bookmarks to be synchronized, nothing else. My quota noted, Firefox introduced the new synchronization model, it was really great and easy, everything was fine.

  Recently, I lost a lot of bookmarks in Sync. What a desktop PC has still all the bookmarks, but on the other 3 devices, a number of bookmarks is not present at the end of the list sorted alphabetically. I uninstalled Firefox and deleted all focused on the Firefox of these 3 devices, performed a new installation fresh and synchronized again. But no result, the bookmarks are still missing. I added the new bookmarks from the PC which has still all the bookmarks, and they have been synchronized correctly on the other 3 devices. I think somehow these specific bookmarks (which are missing on the other 3 devices) got disconnected/irreversible of the Firefox Sync server.

  Now, since I was the missing bookmarks on a PC, is it possible to download these bookmarks unrelated to Firefox Sync Server so that they can be re-linked and synchronized on other devices? If so, how can I do? If not, what else are my options to get my favorites back and sync?

  You cannot add whatever it is located outside of Firefox Sync. The service only connects through an installation of Firefox.

  As far as trying to solve this problem with bookmarks 'lost' on 3 devices...

  1 disconnect all 4 devices Sync.
  2. then on the PC which has still all of your bookmarks, install this extension - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/places-maintenance/ - to rebuild the database of places on this device. I suspect that is where your problem started.
  3. when the 'maintenance' is made, reconnect this synchronization device and let it run for like maybe 24 hours to fill again the synchronization with the data server "fixed".
  4. then you can start to reconnect the other 3 devices Sync one at a time (do the last Tablet), allowing some time for each device to "Digest" some changes are made during the re-sync connection.

  Do not rush synchronization at any time - depending on how many bookmarks and how much history you have: maybe add a device by day and leave Firefox running for a long period does nothing else. From what I've observed with Sync for fixing something like that, it works by "outbreaks" of data in particular transfers when synchronization servers are very busy.

  If you have a problem with dl, you don't follow all 7 steps.  as a general rule, do not carefully follow the steps 1, 2 or 3 is the problem.

  Too, I'll have a problem displaying the folios in Adobe Content Viewer v32.

  Other members of the team had trouble downloading the folio and received an error message "can not to connect to the server at this time...". "
