  Firefox is a web browser, not a homepage.

  Looks like you have the old www.google.com/firefox/ start page to be the default home page in Firefox before Firefox 4.0 sometime. It is not maintained by Google more so either ignore the message or while in Firefox, go to tools-> Options-> general-> home page section and change your home page.

  Since I've upgraded to Windows 7 my ram poster now only 2.93 GB usable of my 4 GB.  Why would it be?  And that would be why my system seems slower since upgrade?  The performance is not as fast it was before Vista.  I am more than a little confused!  Why it does not use the full 4 GB?  Only just noticed this, so if someone wouldn't mind to tell me if there is problem I would be very grateful, I'm sure it was something before the 3 upgrade!

  There is actually a very technical reason for what you see, but basically it's because you're using a 32-BIT operating system.  If you use a 64-BIT operating system you would not see the problem.

  If you are interested, this post does a good job of explaining it is http://blogs.msdn.com/hiltonl/archive/2007/04/13/the-3gb-not-4gb-ram-problem.aspx , but basically, it's down to the way that the operating system uses the memory and how it spread what you can and cannot use.

  Long story short, that if you stay with 32 BIT, you're stuck with this...

• I can't download the rar files on about 500 MB with my new PC.

  I just bought a new 1 to PC with windows 7. I download a lot of games with Winrar 32/64-bit, but I can't get this new machine to download rar files larger than about 500 MB.   I solved my problem! I went to ' down them all "(an add-on Firefox) as my zip/rar file down loader and I'm back in business. In fact, it's much faster than Winrar ever was.

  Is it a page random URL an orange background with a big Firefox icon and the words "urgent Firefox update" then yes it is a Fake.

  I don't think there is much you can do about it outside the use of workaround to reload the page until this problem is corrected.

  There is this bug on this problem:

  I don't know if other extensions download suffer from this issue, as well, so you can try a little more try the website of the add-on and if possible use a different format like WebM, if they are available.

  Also note that not all videos are downloaded and registered correctly. Some may have a size of 0 bytes and fail to download, so, best is to check in downloads of the toolbar Manager in the drop-down list to make sure that the file size is correct (i.e. neither 0 bytes, but a more likely size).

  Version beta, just like other versions of development, is supposed to act as a valid version to avoid problems with the (browser) user agent sniffing and to have a user agent that has an attached specific beta version would be this brake.
