DPS web Adobe content overlay without browser in application popup

Dear all,

I am created the overlay of web content in the DPS. When I am, click on the web link in the overlay. The viewer will be popup browser to access the web - app page. I want Internet link without popup browser-app, display the content within the overlay of web content. Someone knows how to do?

Patrick.

In your overlay of web content, you must make sure that the links in the overlay of web content stay in the same web page. Redirects to different URLS are not allowed.

  • Adobe InDesign - content overlay Web - prevent the spread of events Scroll

    I have an InDesign magazine that contains a Web Content Overlay (pointing to a responsive website). Everything works fine apart from when it comes to scrolling.

    I run the magazine from an iPad via Adobe Viewer. Is not only the scrolling vertical (up and down) is necessary, horizontal.

    Problem

    When user left or right moves, changing page of the magazine and web content firm.

    Question

    Is it possible that I can stop the scroll events from spreading until the magazine of the overlay of web content? Preferably, it would happen on the web content itself (for example using JavaScript) as it would mean only, I need to change in one place, rather than on each page, the web content.

    Attempted

    Captures the touchmove on the body of the page and calling stopPropagation() on that event.

    Call preventDefault() on the event (this prevents any scrolling at all).

    With the help of pageX touchmove events and call preventDefault() all those who seem to be horizontal scans (too unreliable).

    With the help of CSS overflow-x: hidden

    jQuery scroll personalized Mobile events.

    A little addition to combinations of the above.

    Found a solution. First, insert a ' ' tag 'window' in the head:

    Note that I've set a static width of '701', it's important. Width of the overlay of web content is "700px". Set a width of "701" means that the page can move very slightly. This agitation means that the left/right scan is taken and not percolated to InDesign. There is a slight delay (of a pixel) if they drag, but it's minor compared to the new page.

    Then add the following in your page CSS:

    . Happy {}

    -webkit-too-full-scrolling: touch

    }

    You should not have this CSS, but it was necessary for us.

  • Up-to-date reliable content overlays Web

    Hello

    whenever I'm creating Web content overlays in Folios, I run into the problem, they don't update on servers of DPS. So if I change, say that the CSS of the Web-embedded content, save the. CSS, an InDesign file and update the Article via FolioBuilder sometimes the content remains the same when I update via the Adobe Viewer on iPad.

    Now, my solution: create another HTML file in a different folder and point to this new folder/file to overlay the Web content. But it of really ugly and keeps me develop more quickly.

    Any idea?

    If you test on iOS it is unfortunately a bug in iOS, not a bug of DPS. The operating system is cached files even after that put us them to day and supply of content cached in the overlay of web

  • Content overlay HTML Web - Android

    Hey guys,.

    I'm having a problem with a HTML website content too Gallery shot with Android native Viewer.

    The overlay is the second State to a MSO. The HTML code works as it should, but the 'Close' button on the second State that should make the DSO in the first State does not.

    It's like the web content overlay is sitting on top of the DPS button. Everything works in iOS.

    Ideas or known issues with Android native Viewer and HTML overlays?

    See you soon,.

    Nathan

    You will need to examine alternatives on Android if you want to get the content for now. It is not an easy change to make because of the nature of HTML on Android, and we will take time to know what to do or if it is still possible to solve.

    You also update Adobe Content Viewer? In the last version, the Browse button at the top right was abducted and combined with the action of scroll down bar. You can still see the title, author, description, and kicker when you use the scroll bar. That's how readers will see R25 folios. It has nothing to do with iOS.

  • Adobe PDF Reader has support for broadcast all rendered document content in a browser?

    Adobe PDF Reader has support for broadcast all rendered document content in a browser? I have to make the document PDF in browsers using the streaming so that the user can see the first pages, while the rest of the pages in the document is loading in the background. Could someone please confirm if this capability of streaming is supported by Adbobe Reader?

    I tried below approach and noticed that the document is not rendered in IE at all (I see a blank page). However, in Chrome, I see the rendering of the document, but the content is not rendered correctly (I mean that some of the content is rendered. In addition, images and tables not is not made properly).

    Code snippet:

    =========

    Response.ClearHeaders ();

    Response.ClearContent;

    Response.ContentType = "application/pdf";

    Response.AddHeader ("content-Transfer-Encoding", "binary");

    Response.AddHeader ("Content-Disposition", "inline; exit = filename"+".pdf");

    Response.AddHeader ("Pragma", "no-cache, no-store");

    Response.AddHeader ("Content-Length", stream. Length.ToString ());

    Response.BufferOutput = false;

    const int bufferLen = 2048;

    ubyte [] buffer = new byte [bufferLen];

    int count = 0;

    While ((count = stream. Read (buffer, 0, bufferLen)) > 0)

    {

    Response.BinaryWrite (buffer);

    }

    Response.End)

    Adobe Reader has very sophisticated support for broadcast in a browser, but using this code, you have disabled.

    Your code offers you the PDF file in one piece - Adobe Reader has no choice other than to accept the piece in the order in which send you it.

    However, if you use a PDF by http URL, and it is optimized for fast web view and it is displayed in the browser window, and the agent viewing is Adobe Reader (usually is not the case with Chrome), then it will launch several requests to the server for the beaches of bytes according to the needs.

    It is theoretically possible for a script to support this, but the script must do a range support full http/1.1 byte, supporting several repeated calls. It's complicated enough that I have ever seen.

    If you can redirect to a URL, it will get done.

  • Hyperlinks within Web content overlays

    I'm linking to my Web site using the Web content overlay, but when I click on a hyperlink in my site I want the next page to load within the same superposition of web content. Currently, when I click a hyperlink, it opens a browser window which I want to avoid.

    You cannot jump to a different URL within a Web content overlay. By clicking on a link in a Web overlay content opens the in-app browser window. I'm not aware of a workaround.

  • 16.0.2 Firefox when browsing Facebook, the browser stops reponding. (Script: chrome://wrc/content/overlay.js:1677))

    When you use Firefox 16.0.2 and browsing Facebook, the browser stops responding and an error message appears saying that the script has stopped working. (Script: chrome://wrc/content/overlay.js:1677))
    This only happens on Firefox and Facebook work well when you use Google Chrome. As firefox is my favorite browser that I would get this fixed default problem.
