drawBitmap, flipping and rotations

Hello

How can we draw a rotated bitmap or returned WITHOUT creating a new bitmap and do the conversion manually?

Thank you

I don't know if this will help, but the origin x and y values are the origins of the screen and not the origins of the image as with drawBitmap. 0,0 IE will begin to draw to the screen 0,0 location and does not start the drawing of the location of the image 0,0 as with drawBitmap. I guess this, because drawTexturedPath the image tiles, but the documentation is not very clear.

  • return and rotate not considered an editing tool

It seems that the transformations flip and rotate are not considered changes.  So if I apply these changes I have no indication that this transformation has been applied.  I made a few transformations flip on some images, but not on the others until now, I have no way to return all return to their original state.  I've been scanning of slides and images require a horizontal flip transformation.  I would select all and tell Lightroom to examine the transformation on the original parameter.  I don't understand how to do this.  Help, please.

Yes, it's a bit strange that you can not reset flip and turn.  Possible solutions:

-Use the plugins Data Explorer or any filter to find all the pics that are turned 90, then unrotate them. Find all the photos that are rotated 90 and spilled - unrotated and the unflip.  Repeat for all 8 possibilities of rotation and flipping.

-Use the free Exiftool.  Select all the photos and make metadata > save metadata to file.  Can do "exiftool-orientation = normal *" to reset the rotation and reversal of all files.  And then make some metadata > read metadata file. ExifTool is a steep learning curve, especially if you are not experienced with command line tools.

  • Different methods to find a form of rectangle Center and rotation in vision assistant

Hi This is my first shot at the machine vision and Vision Assistant tool. I am trying to find a rectangle shape in an image and determine its Center and rotation around the Center. I started with this image:

and I increased saturation and contrast to make a clearer target area:

I am interested in the main red rectangle turned about 5 degrees to the right. For me, it seems that there is enough contrast edges, but quickly, I tried some of the edge (including the rake) detection and pattern matching algorithms and I don't get any useful results. Maybe it's the white lines don't interfere. I tried to extract just the plan of the red color but as white also contains red these lines always appear.

I'm hoping to get some ideas for different approaches get precisely the Center and the rotation of this part, as well as the guidance you need to succeed. Thanks for the tips!

I would try to extract the rectangle using color thresholding.  Analysis of particles of use on the rectangular blob and you should be able to get a rotation value.

  • How can I animate size and rotation on mouse over?

    Hello

I am fairly new to animate the edge and tried to find tutorials but all I've found so far are those for older versions, which are very different for new versions of CC 2014 so not had much luck...

I would like to animate the icons similar to those on the strip of color on this site: http://do.live147.com/html/rockox/index.html ("Web Site", the latest trends,"etc.)

More mouse above I would animate the scale and rotation of the icon, and then if possible, to keep in this new State to another icon is selected (rather than return on mouse out).  All the icons are for a design to Muse (CC 2014).

Can someone help me or point me to some new tutorials that covers this?  I would be grateful for clues on how to do it!

I use Edge animate CC 20141 on a Mac.

    Thanks in advance!

  • After the upgrade to Fusion 4.02 flip and alt - tab in W7 aero does not work do not

After that I upgraded to merge (after the use of Fusion 3) 4.02, Windows 7 aero flip and alt - tab show black screens instead of their normal screen content. I did not have this problem with Fusion 3.

Aero flip I feel only shows black boxes, not content, this very interesting feature of rendering useless. Similarly, using alt - tab, the content does not appear. An example of what I get when using aero flip in my virtual machine is shown below:

    Hi halcwb,

You have upgraded to 4.1 Fusion?  A number of 3D rendering problems have been addressed in this update.

    See you soon,.

  • How to copy part of an image, flip and stick?

I have an image which is a protrait.  Part of the ear on the right side is missing.  I want to copy the left ear, flip and paste where the right ear is suppost be.  How can I do this?

Hi, shirl2sg! Welcome to the forums. Here's how it can be done.

First, you create a selection from the left ear. This can be done using many methods of selection of Photoshop. To keep things simple, I used a rectangular selection tool. Of course, if you want an acurate selection, you can use the Lasso tool or the pen tool.

Once the selection has been made, you need to duplicate, while retaining the original. This can be done by going to layer > New > Layer Via Copy.

Now that a copy has been made, you will need to reverse. This can be done by going to Edit > transform > Flip Horizontal.

Then, of course, you can move it into place and remove any excess pieces which may be left outside the ear. You can use the Eraser tool, or a layer mask.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

  • The scaling and rotation with the motion tween

This is a ridiculously easy problem but I paint a mental space to how to do this in advance I apologize for simplicity. I'm trying to get a clip to rotate and to scale automatically without be clicked. I would like that it gradually rotate 90 degrees and scale by 150%, but I can not find a way to get a motion tween, to do and am having to do it manually frame by frame. What is the code for this?

    Thank you!

If you are using CS4 or later, make sure that you use the classic Tween to what you call, you tried. Asked only that I have, it's mention you a clip twice... If you are inside the movieclip you cannot rotate and resize it from there.  So is there a clip within the clip, and this is the internal clip you are trying to tween?  The object you to scale and rotate should be a symbol in the library.

  • Crop tool and rotation by it

    Hi all

In Photoshop CS5, it is possible to crop an image and rotate its edges manually.

    • Sometimes, it is possible to crop an image and place each line of the harvest, BUT he doesn't twist and the rounded arrow does not appear when hover at an angle.

    • Sometimes, when cropping, it is possibel to turn, BUT without ability to move each line of the harvest.

    • Sometimes, when cropping, cannot move each line of culture and harvest appears with fixed ratio.

1 - How can I control these situations?

2 - How can I move every line of the harvest and turn it?

    Best regards.

All that resamples the image: resize, rotate, distort, free transform, etc. do not work in bitmap mode.

This is because the bitmap mode has only 2 values, and you cannot create between values...

  • curious problem with extrusion and rotation

I found a curious problem with extrusion and turn into the CS6. It's not a bug, but it's a behavior that is less intuitive who is confused and sometimes painful. I think it is something that should go on the list of tasks for the devs. Someone else, right? Don't agree?

    Example:

    Rotate_issue.jpg

I started with a path arrow, to which I applied the effect "extrude". I then put an icon on top of the arrow and grouped in the icon and the arrow. Now, I use this icon arrow in several different parts of my design, in different orientations. I flip the arrow, the relative position of the icon and the arrow seems to pass. I believe that this is happening because when you rotate the arrow icon, Illustrator rotates both the icon and the arrow on the center of the underside of the arrow. This is because the upper side of the arrow is essentially fictitious, just an artifact of the effect of extrusion. So, even if the icon appears as if it is drawn on the upper side of the arrow, it behaves as if it is attached to the underside of the arrow. When you apply a transformation, this transformation impacts on the underside of the arrow, causing the top of offset from the icon.

The solution would be to add an extra box to the effect of extrusion, asking if you wanted to extrusion (the way things are currently done) upwards or downwards. If you can extrude downwards, then the upper side of the arrow would be the 'real' face, those affected by the changes. You can then put a picture on the top, the arrow and the image of the group, and when you apply a transformation, the icon would remain fixed relative to the top, which would be consistent with your intuitive expectations.

If anyone is curious to experiment with this particular example, I posted this file in Google Docs here:

    https://docs.Google.com/file/d/0B0Hoxcl5zTEtTXo5QnNsMGwwOGc/edit?USP=sharing

It's about what you just mount the image with a transformative effect to match the extrusion.

So basically, you apply a 3-d rotation effect to your image to match the rotation of your arrow, then you apply a transformation movement in the vertical axis to match the height of your extrusion.

    hope this helps

    https://docs.Google.com/file/d/0B4ilRoSBagc3d2w2Ylc2cWxFVjA/edit

If you want to get real on this issue retro we only corresponding to the rotation of the arrow in the center of the extrusion, if we wanted to distort the image perfectly, the rotation should be slightly higher, but anyway, it is hardly noticeable.

  • Photos.app: Are the functions 'culture' and 'rotation' jpg lossless?

For jpg files, there are ways without loss to change.

    https://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/JPEG#Lossless_editing

    For example rotations and cultures.

    My question:
Are the functions for jpg lossless ' rotation' and 'culture'?

    Thanks for your help.

All changes in the Photos are lossless, except if you use photo editing extensions.  Photos stores the original images and a description of the adjustments to be applied to the picture, and if you add more settings, all changes will be calculated from the original main image file. YOYYu can always undo changes and revert to the original.

However, if you export the edited pictures version, the final version will be made to TIFF to JPEG, and the amount of the losses depend on the JPEG quality you select or the size in pixels.

Export a cropped or rotated image will result in a smaller file size.

But while the picture is in Photos all settings are stored in the photo library without loss.

If you use Photos of externally modified image photo editing extensions will be returned in a new and more original image file the original image file. You will still be able to return to the originl, but no longer be able to cancel all the menu sepaarately sub-mode.

  • How to force the Photos up-to-date original jpeg file after you have added the GPS data and rotation

    Hello

Pictures has the ability to add GPS data to an image file, but stores the GPS data in a catalog instead of the actual image file.  The same seems to apply to the rotation of the image.  Is there a way to force the Photos up-to-date the actual image file?

The only solution I have found so far is to export images updated, remove them from the library of Photos and re - import.  This process, however, replaces the original creation date with the date of the export in the file.  (i.e. a photo taken in 2007 with a creation date of 2007 will now have the date it has been exported photos as a creation date.)

The reason why I want to update the original file, it is that I use Google Photos automatically create albums using the content of the image, the GPS data and dates.  The backup utility Google downloads the file Master Original therefore excludes files and changes to images in the photos.

    I use the photo Version 1.5 (370.42.0)

    Thank you.

The same seems to apply to the rotation of the image.  Is there a way to force the Photos up-to-date the actual image file?

No, Photos will never alter the original image file.

You can export the photo with the GPS and reimport with file > export and activate "include location information:

Or use a tool to add location data before importing photos to Photos. I use Jetphoto Studio.

  • HP Pavilion PC 11-n010tu x 360: update Windows 10 - touch screen and Rotation works not

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help?

I upgraded my Windows PC 8.1 to Windows 10.  Since the upgrade of the touchscreen / screen rotation functions are no longer available or work.

I noticed that the touchscreen HID device is not installed and I think the same for the rotation of the screen.

Installation / upgrade didn't / Dopes not recognize that the device is a touch screen and model when checking windows itself declares there is no stylus or touch input available for this view?

I remember a similar problem with the upgrade of Windows 8 to 8.1.  Can anyone suggest how the features of screen rotation and touch screen can be restored?  He was under the rpevious windows version?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

Loaded the latest drivers from HP today and the problem seems to be resolved.  Operation of toch screen is back.  Screen rotation is back.  Thank you HP.
