drawLine thicker than 1 pixel.

Hello

I want to draw a line between two points, which is thicker than 1 pixel.

Graphics::DrawLine has all the settings to adjust the thickness of the line/run.

I also looked at Graphics::drawFilledPath. But it seems to be provided to the polygons filled etc. daw.

I would really appreciate pointers to solve this problem.

Thank you

-MB.

Hello

I think that you do not mentioned you want to draw a diagonal line, you can call drawline() twice

drawLine (0,0,100,100);

drawLine (0,1,100,101);

I think this should solve your problem.

  • Text captions - why can't do less than 62 pixels high?

    It's so strange!

    I use a text caption (type = haloyellow) with Arial, size 12 font. The problem is that I can't reduce the height of the box less than 62 pixels. Even properties/size and Position, my change of 55 pixels is ignored (locking is off).

    It seems that issues type and haloyellow is one of those guys who have a minimum value of 62 pixels. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

    Unfortunately, all the alternatives (for appearance, I am trying to accomplish) have the same size restrictions.

    Hi Shawn

    Every legend has a minimum size, and it is determined by the base used bitmap image. If you examine the properties of the HaloYellow1.bmp file, you will see that it is 62 pixels maximum.

    The file must be found in the Adobe Captivate 4\Gallery\Captions program

    The only way to make it smaller must in this case open the image in an image editor and change it there. Then you will need to save it under a different name and you can then insert it into your project.

    See you soon... Rick

  • Features of the line of my mouse and the pen tool are thicker than my tablet.

    Hello, I have just built a new computer and tried drawing in Photoshop but it turns out that my features of line of my mouse and the pen tool appear to be twice as thick as my Tablet features. I am currently using the Wacom Intuos small Pen & Touch tablet. I messed with the settings and put sensitivity to pressure for setting low to make sure that I get a fixed size for each shot, so it's probably a sensitivity problems. I don't have this problem with my last computer when I used the same Tablet and the program Photoshop I use now. Does anyone have suggestions about how can I fix? Thank you for your time.

    Occam's razor would tell us that it is almost certainly a problem with spring pressure.

    Or the other of the two first round brushes by selecting in the brush Panel must ensure pencil and mouse identical brush sizes.

    The other thing to look at is the options bar.  The other icon highlighted in red, is the pressure change opacity.

    You can use both at the same time.

  • SolidColorStroke not uniform thickness when it is greater than 1

    I have some problems using the SolidColorStroke to add a border around a greater than one pixel thick rectangle. For some reason, he went weird. I rectangles in a horizontal list and on the left first rect and top edges are a pixel of thickness and right and downstairs are two and all other rectangles, the top is a pixel of thickness and all other sides are two. I guess that set the weight to any value would be uniformly defined thickness on all sides of the rect that value, but it doesn't look like it works like that. Is there something that I am missing?

    This is the rect code I use.

    <s:Rect width="101" height="71">
         <s:stroke>
              <s:SolidColorStroke color="0x009DE0" weight="2"/>
         </s:stroke>
         <s:fill>
              <s:SolidColor color="0xFFFFFF"/>
         </s:fill>
    </s:Rect>

    As test, try setting your rect x / y coords to half pixels (e.g. 10.5, 10.5) just to see if that corrects the way that the race appears.

  • Export of sovereign wealth funds, get the thickness of line precise CS5

    Hello indesigners,.

    I recently tried to create a CV interactive little, nothing complicated, just an index page which links to the chapters.

    In the identity document, I use lines with very little wight (0.25 pt or 0.25px, depending on the print mode or the web). When I export to a SWF file the lines are always much thicker than they really are. It seems that the minimum thickness, it can show is perhaps, 1px, while ID can show more fine lines (do not know how it does, maybe anti aliasing?).

    I can remedy that and export it in the form of raster image, but then, it removes any interactivity.

    I just want to keep the items in the vector reduced to their actual thickness, does anyone know how to do this?

    I've attached a picture that she shows off quite well.

    http://DL.dropbox.com/u/25033198/Untitled-1.jpg

    Ah, Yes, of course for this. I forgot to treat the "fix" you found.

    It is a 'fix' rather than a real problem, because if you zoom in on this image, you'll see that it contains no pixel 1/4 more! The image renders too thin lines identical to InDesign: as light gray.

    There is progress and disadvances to save the image as a bitmap, rather than as a vector; I think that you are aware of both, and it is up to you to decide which method to use.

    If you are sure that your users (consider that they will look at what on paper) will not zoom in, you could still use the lines of 1 point but their light gray color, so the Visual effect is the same 100%. And it will look only slightly weird when your users zoom in - they will get * thick gray * lines, instead of * thin black * those, but it's still better than ugly pixels.

  • Cannot resize the Firefox window under pixel 374

    Using Firefox 26.0, completely new download and installation.

    For various purposes, I'd like to be able to resize the entire window of Firefox on a width smaller than 374 pixel, however it no longer works. It remains simply greater than or equal to 374 pixels. Before I did the update to 26.0 this works beautifully.

    Of course I can do it with web developer, but I'd rather have all the Firefox window to pixel 200 or 300 width in pixels for example.

    Note that with the bookmarklet you will probably run into safety problems that Firefox does not allow a page opens as a pop-up.

    You can hide all toolbars in a new window and use userChrome.css code to set a smaller width min.

    Add code to the file userChrome.css below default @namespace.

    The file userChrome.css (UI) customization and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder.

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

    #main-window:not([chromehidden~="toolbar"]) {min-width:200px!important;}

  • Dead on the Ideapad Z570 pixel

    3 butterflies have elapsed since I bought a new Ideapad Z570. A week ago I noticed a black dot near the Windows Start button. I tried to wipe it with a cloth, but he was always there, discovered it's a dead pixel. I called Lenovo support, send some pictures and they have confirmed that this is a dead pixel and to guarantee it must be 3 dead pixels. They also told me that if I want my screen has changed, I have to pay 160 euros aroud. I don't think it's ok only after 3 months of use, a laptop should have this kind of problems and I am very disappointed with the response, I received service of Lenovo. After I paid 700 euros for the laptop around to pay another 160 for a display. I've owned computers portable to other brands but never had any problems. Now I have to wait and hope that more than 2 pixels would die?

    Sorry to hear that, but there is nothing that you/we can do about it. warranty does not cover replacement if you have less than 3 dead pixels.

  • How to generate a random number within a specified tolerance and control than tolerance.

    I am trying to simulate data without using a data acquisition device using a random number generator and I want to be able to control the "range" the random number generated well.  On the front panel, the user can enter a nominal number, and the random number generator would generate numbers more or less disponibles.003 this number nominal.  The data would be delayed on a chart.  Someone knows how to do this?  Or if it is still possible?

    Just for the sake of information, the random number is supposed to resemble thickness measures, that's why I want to simulate more and less disponibles.003 because the data might be thinner or thicker than the nominal value.

    Thanks in advance!

    Two ways of approaching the issue.  First of all, for even distribution, you can 'Roll the dice', which is the (0,1) random number function, multiply the result by 0.06 and then add Mean - 0.03 to center around average distribution.  If you simulate a real process, my initial guess would be that the results would follow a normal distribution.  In this case, you can use the VI of white noise Gaussian of the palette of generation of signals with a standard deviation of 0.015 if you wanted 0.03 to be the point of 2 sigma, then add average results.
