Dreamweaver CC has an empty property inspector Panel

There is no information displayed to all whatever the selection, not the drop-down menus, nada. I'm under Mountain Lion.

@marbella_mick - its unfortunate that the CC and CS5 do not work for you on the MAvericks. We encountered these problems earlier, albeit separately. Try the workarounds below

Fund http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/troubleshoot-crash-dreamweaver-cc.html for empty properties panel - you may need to activate the police TAhoma in font book

Case of http://forums.adobe.com/message/5802742#5802742 for the CS5 launch accidents - you may need to remove browser lab Panel of your workspace to get DW CS % work

What determines the order that CSS styles class and/or target rule are listed in the menu of the class of the HTML or CSS property inspector in Dreamweaver CC?

Is it possible to change the order in the drop-down list so that a frequently used class style/Targeted rule is listed first (to the top of the list)?

I just have an attached style sheet and which shows alphabetically in the drop-down list. Maybe, if you have more than one style sheet, the styles appear in the load order of the leaves and alphabetically within each worksheet.

  • The property inspector is empty.

I use Dreamweaver CC on Mac OS X 10.6. Part of the time I used it yesterday it was empty, I stopped and restarted and it was OK.  Today, it is again empty.  The Panel CSS Deigner sometimes empty, sometimes shows things. I saw a discussion on Verdana and Tahoma.

Removed Tahoma and Verdana.  Put back them.  Restarted Dreamweaver.  Now, everything is.

  • icons next to the width and height in the image property inspector

    Hello

    In

Insert, change and manipulate images in your website using Dreamweaver

Section "Set properties of the image", that means the icon that looks like unlock the average?

I thought that it maintains the width-height ratio when it is locked. But it does not work.

    sulfateion wrote:

I tried several times, but the lock seems does not work. When the image is inserted, lock the padlock. Then I can always arbitrarily change the proportions with the mouse by dragging the lower right of the image. Then the lock turned out be unlocked.

Everything works exactly as expected. The lock maintains the aspect ratio only when you change the width or height value in the property inspector. It has no effect when you resize an image by dragging with the mouse. The padlock will appear unlocked as a Visual indicator that the aspect ratio has been broken.

Hold down the SHIFT key when you drag an image to resize has always maintained the aspect ratio.

  • Property inspector CS6 - cut menus field title & target

I rebooted the Dreamweaver hoping to fix the display in the property. I found that I'm not the only one experiencing this problem, http://forums.adobe.com/message/5454456- Please refer to the pictures for my change.

    I am running Windows 7.

Can you advise me. Thank you.Property Inspector, detail of- missing Target field & Title fields (Snubbed off).jpg

Judging by your screenshots, it seems that you have changed the font size in Control Panel > display. Unfortunately, this truncates labels in the property inspector and other parts of the Dreamweaver UI. The solution is to use the default font size and change your screen resolution.

  • How do you get space V and H space appear in the property inspector.

I use Dreamweaver CS6 and I can't align it, space V, H space appear in the property inspector when editing photos.  Anyone have any suggestions. ?

Yes.  Use CSS.  Alignment, vertical space, and horizontal space are not valid in modern HTML.  Adobe them removed from the properties panel.

  • Disabled property inspector

I just started with Flash and each tutorial with Action Script 3 assumes that the property inspector pane is active. No matter what I do my properties pane Inspector rest inactive/gray, if items are selected or not.

I spent hours on this problem, and it seems I'm the only user on the Earth which is PI is grayed out.

How can I activate it so I can continue?

    TIA

Properties Panel is only enabled when your active document is a FLA (the one where you draw). You might have opened a folder on top (for the script) and then try to access the properties panel - in this case, it will stay off.

  • cut property inspector

The contents of the property inspector window is cropped by the margins of right and down more SMALL than the window itself.  Resizing the window doesn't help.  (see screenshot)

I know that this has been described in the previous posts.  However, I use the system font to NORMAL size with a screen 1920 x 1200.

    It's DW CS4 v10.0 build 4117 w / WinXP Pro v2002 sp3.

DW CS2 worked fine.  Then I installed CS4 and what goes out of the box.  I tried to reset the layout of the workspace, but the result is the same.

Hopfully I will be stupid.  Is there a setting for the font size in DW or CS4?  Photoshop and Illistrator are very good.

    Thanks in advance.

I presented the following bug report.

    ******BUG******
    Concise problem statement:
    Steps to reproduce the bug:
    1. open DW CS4 using out of the box, or other provision of workspace.
    2. when the property inspector window open, open any page.

    Results:
The contents of the property inspector window is cropped by the right and bottom margin more SMALL than the window itself.  Resizing the window doesn't help.

    Expected results:
I was expecting to see the contents of windows.
On the same OS install CS2 worked fine.  I use «normal size fonts»  Others seems to indicate this problem with large fonts.  I have experience with normal size fonts.  My screen is 1920 x 1200.
Y at - it a setting I'm wrong?  DW is not very useful to me in this way.

There are actually two places where you must set the right size in order to avoid this problem. You have not only set the font to normal size, you must also set the screen resolution of 96 dpi. Try the following steps to make sure that everything is set correctly, and I bet you that the problem is solved.

    1. right click on the desktop and choose "Properties".
    2. click on the 'Appearance' tab and in the drop-down menu 'Font size' choose 'Normal '.
    3. click on the tab "settings".
    4. use the "Screen Resolution" slider to set the resolution of at least 1280 x 800. 1280 x 1024 would be recommended. 1920 x 1200 should also be fine.
    5. click on the button "Advanced".
    6. in the tab "General", in the "DPI Setting" drop down list choose "Normal size (96 DPI)" and click OK.
    7. click OK to close the display properties window.
    8 restart Windows.

  • Class not appearing CSS style is not in the property inspector

    Hello

I'm building a new site in Dreamweaver 8 and started to format the text when entering new CSS Styles, but they may not appear in the property inspector. If I switch back to my other site, all right. Anyone encountered this?

    Thank you

    The head of Don Simpson

Show us what you used to these new Styles CSS selectors? Only the class
selectors will appear in the property inspector, since the type and ID
    the selectors are applied automatically.
