Dreamweaver: Design Mobile (checkerboard to separate fluid or CSS sheets?)

I am a novice designer trying to build my responsive first site using 'Fluid Grid Layout'

1. it would be more easy/difficult for me to build 'fluid grid design' using CS6 or build Web CSS liquid/liquid site regularly, and change/add separate CSS stylesheets later for the Tablet and mobile devices. (If separate style sheets are used)... How, once the separate CSS and HTML on the server, they realized/implementation / targeting different platforms (Tablet and mobile) rather than the traditional site destop

2. 'the first Mobile' is confusing me a little: I can excluded divs (no view) on mobile, I am showing on the desktop? For example: I want to build a navigation bar that runs through the page 100% on the desktop. It would be too small, unreadable on mobile. I would like to build a separate navigation for mobile bar, but do not know to implement. Should I create separate for each platform stylesheets and/or to change the CSS for the Mobile, tablet or desktop CSS (all on a single sheet of style with questions from the media) appropriate

3 similar to question 2 (counterclockwise): can I build a site mobile with some divs with widgets (and) using 'Presentation of the Flexible grid', which are not inherited by Tablet and desktop?... probably leading to my main question below:

4 what is the best way to design a Web site for Mobile, Tablet and desktop? I want to build a site that can have different content (IE widgets, navbars, etc.) for each platform: mobile, Tablet and desktop. My experience (or lack thereof) only allows me to include all the same content (fluid divs), laid out just diffently on three platforms.

Y at - it a compromise between an easier way of design (design of the flexible grid) from a design methood that has more of the content control and presentation (separate CSS sheets)

Thank you very much hope, there is a good discussion.

    I don't find dreamweaver design view button 2015. I read the comment in the forum that fashion design will find irn mode button live view with drop-down arrow, but I see not seen live button with the drop-down arrow.

    where can I find the design view button? Help, please!

    Thank you.

    See screenshot.

    This option has been removed from the fluid grid Layouts.

    Best advice, do not use FGLayouts (inheritance) or if you do, you'll need to trick DW into thinking that they are normal layouts by adding an X to the CSS code available.

    Open CSS in Code view.  Do not in CSS designer panels.

    /*

    Properties Grid Dreamweaver fluid

    ----------------------------------

    DW-num-CLO-mobile: X4;

    DW-num-CLO-Tablet: 8;

    DW-num-OCOL-Office: 12;

    DW-gutter-percentage: 25;

    Save the CSS file.

    Close DW.  Restart DW.

  • How can I activate the dreamweaver design view?

    Hello:

    I don't know why, but the design view in dreamweaver is idle and I don't know how to put it back again. I have a laptop and dreamweaver 2015.

    can you help me with this?

    If you use fluid grids and want to Design view without roll back, you can do the following...

    Close all other files, open the fluid grid css and add the X below:

    /*

    Properties Grid Dreamweaver fluid

    ----------------------------------

    DW-num-CLO-mobile: X 4;

    DW-num-CLO-Tablet: 8;

    DW-num-OCOL-Office: 12;

    DW-gutter-percentage: 25;

    =====================================

    Then save and close the file.

    DW restart and you should have mode Design from here out on all files using this fluid grid .css file.

    How to pass the album Live view mode Design while working on a fluid page? The drop down option isn't there as if it was on other pages.

    You can not.  If you want to work with FGLayouts, I recommend drop back to the Release of June 2014 CC before they took the Design of FGLayouts mode.

    You can get the version of June 2014 DW direct links below:

    Win: http://download.adobe.com/pub/Adobe/Dreamweaver/WIN/CC/Dreamweaver_14_LS20.exe

    Mac: http://download.Adobe.com/pub/Adobe/Dreamweaver/Mac/CC/Dreamweaver_14_LS20.dmg

    Solution #2: Modify your CSS FGLayout file by adding an X to the code as shown below.  This trick DW into thinking that it is a normal page, so you can use the new Design view.   NOTE: Do not change the CSS in design Panel.  Do it in Code view.  Record.  Close DW.  New launch DW.

    /*

    Properties Grid Dreamweaver fluid

    ----------------------------------

    DW-num-CLO-mobile: X4;

    DW-num-CLO-Tablet: 8;

    DW-num-OCOL-Office: 12;

    DW-gutter-percentage: 25;

  • Animated border code in Dreamweaver jquery mobile theme?

    I have trouble getting my Edge file animate to work on my website in Dreamweaver jquery mobile theme. I was told to get my file code animate and put it in my dreamweaver site. A bit like this... copy the code of execution of Edge, paste into web site < title >. Then to copy div phase code and paste it into my site in the content div. I can't make it work. So it appears white.

    OK, I got it. I did that much more difficult so he had to be. If anyone has this problem, you simply publish your project in Adobe Edge animate, then save them in the folder you use for your Web site. Then, in Dreamweaver, you can insert media, search for the file and insert it. All right.

  • Enchanting Pro - works in Dreamweaver (design) but no-go during a test

    I know that it must be something incredibly simple, but I want to add text (keywords) using the MYriad Pro font.  When I added to the font family to my CSS it would appear in the Dreamweaver design correctly, including the color.  But when I preview it in Firefox, the police is displayed correctly with the wrong color and then I have preview in Safari and it is hard to see color and police wrong.  It's a mystery to me why he would have been seen differently that it is displayed in the design of Dreamweaver.  In any case, I can put it in as an image, but I really want key words.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Here is the CSS code:

    {#slogan}
    position: absolute;
    left: 695px;
    top: 32px;
    Width: 180px;
    height: 20px;
    z index: 4;
    text-align: center;
    do-family: "MYriad Pro";
    / * police: "MYriad Pro"; * /
    color: f2f2f2;
    }

    HI - first, check your spelling and capitalization. Also, don't forget the # before the hex code of the color (which probably explains the inconsistencies in color). So, don't forget to provide relief fonts - myriad is pretty common, but not as reliable as the basics. Maybe try:

    {#slogan}
    position: absolute;
    left: 695px;
    top: 32px;
    Width: 180px;
    height: 20px;
    z index: 4;
    text-align: center;
    do-family: 'Myriad Pro', myriad, Verdana, Geneva, without serif.

    color: #f2f2f2;

    }

    Since the police would need to be installed on the computer of the visitor is displayed as expected, offer choices of backup fonts that are similar. So, if no 'Myriad Pro', then try myriad, then Verdana, etc..

  • The use of fluid grid CSS

    I'm experimenting with the properties of fluid grid of DW, but I am at a loss of functioning CSS which is connected with it. In CSS, there is a distinction made between the mobile, Tablet and desktop sizes screen. When I add to this CSS one class "-header text" and give it a font size of 15px in mobile, 30px Tablet and 45px at the office, I think that when I adjust the size of the window of firefox or IE on my cell, the displayed text changes size when I exceed the sizes defined in this CSS file (screen only @media). However only the sizes of three police (most important: 45) is displayed even when I reduce the minimum browser window. Remove most of the CSS translates the medium font size display and delete this one in the smaller display.

    Can someone explain to me how the distinction between mobile, Tablet and desktop in this grid fluid CSS layout work and I can use this?

    The answers are in your code.  All devices inherit the styles of the mobile main provision.  Note all additional supports for Tablet and desktop (in red).  If these additional supports are removed, checkerboard to fluid will not work.

    I just did a quick test by adding police sizes to the div as shown .gridContainer below, and it works fine for me.

    / * Mobile layout: * /.

    {.gridContainer}

    font-size: 15px;

    }

    @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {}

    / * Tablet Layout: * /.

    {.gridContainer}

    font-size: 30px;

    }

    }

    @media only screen and (min-width: 1001px) {}

    / * Available Office: * /.

    {.gridContainer}

    font-size: 45px;

    }

    }

    I recommend keeping fluid grid CSS for layout only.  Use a separate style sheet for styles of your content.

    So I designed and built my own basic Web site (http://www.ourhomefromscratch.com).  When I view it on my iphone, it only shows the desktop version.  In mobile phone emulators, it displays the checkerboard to fluid as it has been designed in Dreamweaver CS6.  Any ideas?  I want to display the flow layout on phones.  I'm perplexed.

  • Size of menu bar Spry set correctly for mobile layout when using fluid grid

    I use the horizontal spry menu bar and the checkerboard to fluid. Works fine until it is used in mobile size. The size of the navigation bar set correctly, but the text is too large for each area of the spry menu bar. Is it possible to have the text to set for the mobile structure only? Is there a way for the spry menu bar to stack vertically?

    Spry is neither sensitive nor touch the screen of the environment.  It has been discontinued & removed DW in 2013.

    Inherited liquid grid layouts will be soon abandoned as well (see press release public Beta).

    Re: Is it possible to display the design view in the fluid grid pages?

  • Now above mode code view in Dreamweaver Design 20141

    In previous versions of Dreamweaver, in "split" mode, the code window was above the design window, which is what I prefer. But in 20141, their positions are reversed - now the design window is above the code window. I see no way to change the positions of the code and design views. Is it possible to do?

    Hi Randy,

    You can change it by doing this step - when you are in split mode, go to display (in the menu bar)-> uncheck "display of design on the top.

    Thank you!
