HP Officejet Pro 8610: HP Officejet Pro 8610 - cartridge problem

My HP Officejet Pro 8610 has a "Problem of cartridge" error on the display screen. I tried all the troubleshooting steps and it will not erase. I replaced the ink with new genuine HP ink which is the expiration date and I contacted HP. They sent me a new print head and new ink to installation as well. This has not fixed the problem. Help, please!

  • HP Officejet 4500 print cartridge problem

After you install the new black ink cartridge, error message came: 'print cartridge problem [Black]. Refer to the documentation for the device to get out of trouble. »

I removed the cartridge and reinsert. Same message. Unplug the printer, then turn it off. When turned on again, the same message.

Thank you, Jason, for your support.  Lesson: stick to what worked before, for example, 901 XL ink cartridge, as opposed to 901.

  • OfficeJet 4630: brand new officejet 4630 with the problem of black ink and ok button does not work

Hello! Today, I bought a new printer, officejet 4630 and it included ink cartridges in the box.

ISET it upward as the sheet in the box said. After I had filled in date etc, I put in the ink (and Yes, remember to check it was compatible and take the Ribbon), then this message showed on the screen and still doesn't work:

"Problem of ink cartridges. The following ink cartridges need to be replaced"and a black dot.

The cartridges were brand new and came in the same area as the printer.

I tried a reset (taking the power cord, wait 60 s etc) I saw in the Hp support you need to press 'ok' to get rid of the message before restarting. I can't press ok. It sounds right. I press any button.

Suggestions? Of course, I can try it with a new cartridge, but to pay $20 for a new cartridge, when it was included in the box and should work is not correct.

  • OfficeJet 4500: Frequent tricolor cartridge problem

I have an Officejet 4500 Wireless bought in autumn 2012.

I suffer from reports very frequently by the printer there is a problem with the Tricolor cartridge. This almost always happens when the printer is on first, well that occasionally it happens either, or the problem clears quickly without intervention. Even if the problem persists, I can of course make any impression.

Often, I can solve the problem by opening the door of the printer and, when cartridges have travelled over to the far right, either remove and replacing the Tricolor cartridge, or in case of failure by pushing so hard on the cartridge three colors that I fear the printer.

I think therefore that the problem is nothing more [sic] as the result of bad contact between the printed circuit board of the cartridge and the cradle of the printer which got him, but I can't be sure. I tried to gently wipe the printed circuit of the cartridge with a damp cloth and isopropyl article in case of dirt or fat are the cause, but nothing helped.

Has anyone else with an Officejet 4500 experienced this or a similar problem? Is there a known solution for this? Try a new cartridge would be likely to solve the problem?

When the printer goes it is great, but for now I wonder if I'll have to throw away so much that the problem is so frustrating. I need to be able to print when I want to.

    TIA!

Hi there @EastAnglianMan Welcome to the forums,

I read in your post on cartridge errors three colors that you have noticed on your Officejet 4500 Wireless printer. Even if you have noticed that you have tried the majority of troubleshooting, I would say by browsing the troubleshooting guide that is targeted for this specific issue ensure that all steps have been tried. As for trying a new ink cartridge, that would be your personal choice if you want to buy and try to install a new one. A new cartridge may or may not solve the problem completely.

"Incorrect print cartridge" or "Print cartridge problem" Message appears on the computer

If troubleshooting doesn't help not solve your problem, then I would say call HP Technical Support to see other possibilities for you, as a business. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions: click here.

  • HP Officejet 7610 - damaged cartridge Error Message

I have a new HP Officejet 7610 - less than 2 months old. It has been working fine until today when the magenta cartridge supplied with the printer is empty.  The printer told me to replace, that I did with a new HP ink cartridge. As he tried to reset, accepted the cartridge, it gave me an error message:

"One or more cartridges appear to be damaged." and poster cyan and yellow. The two who are aged less than 2 weeks and new HP cartridges themselves.

So, I replaced both cartridges with two new HP ink cartridges. I keep getting the same message.

    How can I fix it?

    Hello jgfry,

I'm sorry to hear about your problem with your new 7610 Officejet ink cartridge. Please follow the troubleshooting steps in the guide below. If you get to the last step, which is to replace the printer, please call HP Technical Support to ask for a replacement.

    Nice day

My printer does not print Office, PDF, images, etc.  However, it will display the diagnosis of the Toolbox page.  I don't know what to do.  I uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted my computer and nothing worked.  It obviously becomes the info as will print the diagnostic Toolbox page.  I am trying to print over wireless and cannot go to cable because of the size and the location of my computer and the printer.  Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

  • HP officejet pro 8610: hp officejet pro 8610 printing problem

I printed the Page of quality Diagnostic and see white lines through the colored target Test 3 blocks. I cleaned the print head using the menu configuration and reprinted Page diagnosis but still see the same white lines. I had to take the cartridges from the printer before cleaning the print head?

    Thank you.

    Hello

In step 8, clean print head isn't on the physics of cleaning of the print head, but this is an internal routine that performs the printer.

Clean print head must be performed while the cartridges are in the print head. What you did is correct.

I suggest to replace one of the ink cartridges ink level is less than 25%., especially the colored blocks where you see white lines in them.

If the problem persists (white lines in the sights of test 3.1), then follow the steps mentioned in Solution 8 and 9.

I suggest getting a new printer.
