  This menu is not part of the version under perpetual license of the CS6 (12.0).

• The Insert bar problem

  Using DW 8.0.2 MAC OS x 10.5.4.
  Installed "Insert a QuickTime Movie" extension to Adobe Exchange by using the Mail Manager. (extension worked)
  After my insertion bar is now labeled "Common" and that there only the common tab with only first of 4-5 icons. Same scenario in configuration "menu. Attempts to customize only show available common objects.
  Can also insert is more layer in the main menu.
  Have reinstalled DW 8 and updated to version 8.0.2 without change.
  How can I fix?
  

  I'm sure this is part of the Preferences file. If you go to your library-> preferences and find the .plist file that Dreamweaver was named in it, you can drag to the trash and then restart DW. It will take more time to reboot after doing this because OSX you will need to create a new preferences file, but it should solve the problems with the menus.

  Thanks Nancy, I managed to do the work.  When in DW, I had no defined site and tried to insert the oam in

  a new html.  As soon as I set up a site and created a new html then oam all the inserts work very well.

  I've explored the windows last night and found a few very interesting which has also however, I accidentally disabled one which I use often: the PHP tab in the Insert bar. I could customize the favorite tab for everything PHP in there, but I want it to be the way it was.
  
  I already did a search on the matter and found nothing so please redirect me if I do not have the answer, otherwise I would be grateful of any information.

• Dreamweaver CS6 Insert panel help

  I'm trying the 30 day Dreamweaver CS6 creative cloud and would like to know how get the text bar in the Panel to insert. I currently have the following in my insert Panel.

  • Commune
  • Structure
  • Media
  • Form
  • jQuery Mobile
  • jQuery UI
  • Templates
  • Favorites

  I am new to Dreamweaver so any help is greatly appreciated.

  If you have this configuration in the Insert panel, you use Dreamweaver CC (version 13), not Dreamweaver CS6 (version 12).

  The text category has been deleted in the Insert panel in Dreamweaver CM³, because it reproduces the features that were available elsewhere. If you are looking for special characters, they are now at the bottom of the common category of the Insert panel.

  I'm building a website in Dreamweaver CS6 and I focused on two issues.

  I have a client who would like an introductory video, which is actually a discoloration of the quote in its logo as its initial home page. I exported as an mp4 and it last 8 seconds.

  It is very fast, but he does not want the controls at the bottom. Is there a way to do this? I did a lot of research, but it's all the contradictory and I cannot hide.

  Honestly?  Video is not an optimal method for the presentation of animations.  Better use an animated GIF, or edge to animate the outputs to HTML5 canvas, CSS3 and JavaScript.

  Video & specifically HTML5 video, is destined to all that is why users need the player controls to interact with him.

  I can show you how to have a video service like a background layer, but for your application, it seems really exaggerated and & not quite what you need.

  whenever I put a picture in my website, the image has a transparent background in photoshop then dreamweaver automatically give it a white background, how can I make transparent

  Oh in cs5.5 and I'm not very good at coding I just use dreamweaver without the use of code

  JPG does not support transparency. When you export a JPG of your editor (Photoshop?) all transparent areas are recorded as white.

  Save it as GIF or PNG instead.

  The video presentation of the workspace is for Dreamweaver CS6. You use Dreamweaver CC, which has only two workspaces integrated: Compact and extended. However, the principle remains the same. You can rearrange the panels but you like and then save your own workspace.

  To convert the Insert panel into the insertion (as in the classic workspace) bar, you drag the tab of the Insert panel to detach it from the Panel group and back up towards the top of the screen. When he disappears, and a blue bar appears at the top of the screen, release the mouse button, and it aligns with the top in the insertion bar.
