  I downloaded an extention, DMX Zone 960 Grid, and for some reason any it comes up with this message:

  I'm on Dreamweaver CC 2015.2 - is that Dreamweaver 12 or more? I thought it was if not mistaken. My add page says it's installed, but in order to look into the area of DMX bar, but where the hell is that?

  Consider it a blessing. 960 grid is exceeded.  Nobody wants fixed width web pages.  You should build sensitive page layouts that adapt to different screen widths.  960 grid just cut more - too small for screens high resolution, too wide for mobile phones.   See start DW Starter pages.

  Dreamweaver version 12.0 build 5808. Tried to use a solution of regedit for the size of Ant UI. It fixes most programs, illustrator, photoshop and others, but with dreamweaver, it seems that the interface is still typing for ants. is there any fixes for this issue?

  Apart from setting the parameters of the screen resolution down to something more comfortable for your eyes, no.

  While Photoshop CC has an option of scaling of the user interface for the displays high definition (200%), DW CC does not work.

  Just installed Windows 10 and signed on my cloud creative and downloaded DreamweaverCC 2015.  I had all my extensions converted into .zxp Dreamweaver CS6 stored on a separate hard drive.  When I go to install the extensions by using the CC extensions Manager, I get the following message: this extension cannot be installed, Dreamweaver version 6 or higher.

  Can someone point me in the right direction, I already have the standard uninstall, reload and re - install with no joy.

  News Flash.  This isn't a problem with Dreamweaver.  It is a problem resulting from the October update Safari Apple pushed out.

  Since you have not used the DW in awhile, you haven't noticed the problem overview to date.

  WORKAROUND SOLUTION:

  Use a different browser to preview - Chrome or Firefox.

  Copy the URL from the address bar of the browser and paste it into the address bar of Safari.

  I use ccc 2014 and get this message when I try to install an extention, can anyone help "this extension can be installed, it requires Dreamweaver version 6 or greater.

  You may be using Extension Manager CS6 which will only recognize CS6 adobe apps? Either you use Dreamweaver CC 2015 which supports any of the two versions of the extension manager. We're heading the creative cloud app for the facilities now.

  Unfortunately, DW CS6 (ver 12) purchased on a perpetual license (DVD) is not eligible for the modernization of DW CC (13).  You must subscribe to the cloud of Creative.

  Your 2011 Dreamweaver version cannot be updated, in the same way that Ford (or any other car manufacturer) is not provide you with a free car when a new model is available. Therefore, you have several options:

  • Subscribe to the creative cloud to get the latest version of Dreamweaver.
  • Use the media, free HTML/CSS Editor from Adobe.
  • Type the HTML5 attributes manually in Code from Dreamweaver mode and ignore the error messages you get.

  David M, just for your info, the compatibility of the syntax checking is no big deal. You can write the code PHP version 4, 5 or 7 in Dreamweaver. It's just that from time to time DW can highlight a line of code as bad when it is actually very good.

  I loaded cc dreamweaver 2015 and extensions, both Manager downloaded Adobe CreativeCloud.

  If I try to load an extension I get the error "this extension cannot be installed, dreamweaver version 6 or higher."

  I tried to load an extension of PVii .zxp.

  I rebooted DW and the EM 3 times now with no joy.

• Cannot be saved without closing the document (version of Dreamweaver CS6 12.2)

  At present, I am unable to save a page in Dreamweaver version 12.2 CS6 either with the command <>- shortened S or by selecting "Save" in the file menu.  The only means to save the changes to a page are using "save under" or close the document and answering "Yes" to the dialog box "save changes to [document name]?

  Needless to say it's embarrassing.  Could you please fix the bug and update the application?

• Dreamweaver CS6 version conflict

  I got creative cloud since it came out and love it. However, Dreamweaver CS6 in the following Creative cloud has no support for Coursebuilder exit to SCORM 1.2 and the apparent manufacturer, etc. So, I had to buy e-Learning Suite which includes CS6 Dreamweaver with Coursebuilder, etc.. However, after you downloaded and installed, there was a conflict between the two apparently. I was told to uninstall the creative cloud s/w, then run a patch for the Application Manager and re-download all the s/w. I did it. Now I am unable to start the Creative Cloud Dreamweaver version to turn it off because I was told to do. I get an error message and it refuses to start. At the moment I'm downloading a version track on Adobe.com. I see two problems here... it's most likely a problem of Adobe service between suites and it affects customers who need to make e-learning. I paid a great price just buying the extensions that I have to publish on SCORM. Now I have spent days trying to get the s/w to run even. I don't need duplicates of Flash, Photoshop etc I have as a result of Cloud and certainly no need of the Captivate unfinished and buggy. All the products I need are in the rest of the cloud, EXCEPT that I can't publish on SCORM. Does anyone know how to solve this conflict. The only thing I see is to run a second machine.

  Now you have a new question: where can I find the layers panel to stack elements now by DW cc 2015?

  He went.  Adobe removed because too many beginners have been improper use for main page layouts.  If you must stack items, do it with CSS and absolute positioning.
