  I'm sorry, but there is a problem, you deal with Sony (or with the manufacturer of the Webcam if it is different).  It is they who will have the appropriate device drivers.  Don't just look for the site,talk with someone who can help (even if only by CAT - but preferably by phone unless there is a cost to thishttp://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/select-system.pl?DIRECTOR=CONTACT).  When you talk with them, ask for a supervisor immediately and explain the problem.  The manufacturer, brand, model and serial number of your computer AND your Webcam very convenient in case they need.  I too looked for your model and could not find.  In fact, when I checked Sony Global, Korea was not yet listed: so you have to work your way somehow to get to a live person without a model that they recognize.

  If this does not work, give me the information I asked you to have available for them and I'll see if I can find a Microsoft driver (but I doubt it).

  I recently had the problem with my laptop and formatted the entire hard drive on my Sony vaio laptop. Now I'm trying to use my recovery disk to restore the computer but this is not the case. I used the windows 98 disk and fdisk fact and it shows my HDD 10MB instead of 80 GB and that is the reason why he won't install, b/c no disk space. The laptop came with Windows XP, no idea why this is happening or how it can be fixed.

  I bought a Sony Vaio S (1st generation I think, model x 1190) last year and I just started to use ports USB 3.0 with USB 3 devices.  I find that I have intermittent problems, connection USB 3 external drives to the 3 USB ports.  Work of devices USB 2 fine on all 3 ports USB, 3.0 and 2.0 ports and also connect my 3 USB devices to a USB 2.0 on the laptop works very well - however to USB 2 speed of course.

  The problem is that sometimes the powers of the device upwards (led power light) but no sound or the windows message that the device is connected and that it does not find it on the Disk Manager or Device Manager.  When the same camera and same cable is connected to a USB 2.0 port, it connects very well even if the message indicates that the device can run faster in a port USB 3.

  The question is - is this a known issue with the material or is there a 3rd party patch driver windows or the manufacturer of the motherboard?  I tried to get the latest drivers from Sony and there is none after intial those supplied with the computer.  Same thing with windows update, no new drivers.

  I tried a variety of different USB 3 devices, as well as several cables where cable was the problem and the problem is that sometimes it works sometimes not.  Sometimes after restarting the system or the reisntalling the USB 3 drivers it works, but sometimes not.

  Everyone is finding a problem and what they have done about it?

  You can try to run the diagnostics of material via the Vaio Care. Open Vaio Care Desktop Mode, and then click Advanced tools, click Diagnostics. In the eyes of the list for the diagnosis of USB.   PCG - 7182M is a reference number of the chassis, not the actual model of your laptop or desktop computer itself. You see a model number on the bottom of the screen image? It probably begins with VPC or VGN if it's a laptop. You will also see the template information by clicking on 'Vaio Central' in the Control Panel then "system information" - but this depends on your model.
