  I've recently upgraded to Win 10 of the 7.  Scanner worked fine in 7.  I do not uninstall the HP software before upgrading.  It was an upgrade to boot.  When the scanner is not working, I uninstalled the old and installed the downloaded driver Win 10 package setup_full_SJ8300_140_052.   It still does not.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, both in normal starting conditions and variations in selective or clean start.  Windows compatibility Advisor recommended to manipulate the referenced install package under Win 7.  It still does not.  Ran several variations of startup of HP print and scan the doctor, who could not recognize the printer and eventualy that got me here.

  If you follow these steps, and then try the drivers Vista 64 bit in compatibility mode.

  Please follow the instructions below and then tell me what happens.

  First of all, let us make sure that your computer has the latest Windows updates, especially of .net framework, necessary to run many applications and the latest Java.

  Unplug your printer. Download and run this patch to completely remove the printer from your computer. Run the fix, a MUST on Vista computers, until it prompts you to restart your computer.

  Restart your computer.

  Download the correct drivers.

  XP drivers

  Vista 32-bit drivers

  Vista 64-bit drivers

  All other drivers

  Right click on the file setup.exe, on the left, click Properties, compatibility of the left click. Change Vista compatibility. Then, install the appropriate drivers. You will be asked when connect (printer)

  To install the drivers, sometimes the file decompresses and does nothing. You must find the setup.exe file, right-click on it, then on the left click on run as administrator *.

  In the digitization, if you have the disc that came with the printer, and then insert the floppy disk to the printer and keep it from running. Go to my computer and double-click it.   I am running W7HP x 64 on my DM3 of Pavilion with hybrid graphic system (Mobile Intel 4 series) and GeForce G105M. I'm worried because I'm not sure that the hybrid function works - which means that it will pass graphics cards according to the source of power and power management.

  Can anyone confirm that the hybrid function works or is there any other app/trick/hack that I can use? I need discrete and integrated graphics to work when I'm connected to working with graphics applications (editing photo or 3D modeling light).

  Scratch higher response! I did the job! I downloaded driver win 7, began the installation so that the files were extracted to the SWSETUP folder, leave the installation to finish in normal mode (no compatibility mode). At this point, there is no difference. Then I restarted my laptop and opened Device Manager and updated the driver manually selecting the inf file in the subfolder SWSETUP. I then did a bit of fiddling around with deactivation and activation of integrated graphics card Intel and all of a sudden, the LED TV light on and there was the desk! Although the resolution was not standard full HD, but something more small to 1680 x 1050. Disconnect and reconnect the HDMI Cable causes the actions required, which means that the laptop screen turns on and turns off properly.

  I hope it'll work with my desktop LCD screen to... :/ Will report!

  As far as I know that it has not been tested officially. I do not think that you will be able to install it there because of the requirements inherited in the installer itself, but running it I expect to work. Cordova, which it inspired, is used to create applications for Windows 10, so I think it's reasonable for the base code works very well.

  I'll test it when Windows 10 comes out at least, and I'll see if I can try it on the preview in a VM too.
