Drivers Microsoft for BT to Toshiba - Satellite M40-230

Hello, I have a Satellite M40-230, drivers bluetooth is the TOSHIBA one, and I need to be a microsoft because of this:

"LabVIEW works with Bluetooth devices that use the Microsoft Bluetooth driver included in Windows XP Service Pack 2 and later versions. Refer to the Microsoft Web site for Bluetooth devices are supported by the Microsoft Bluetooth driver. Most Bluetooth devices are issued with a Bluetooth owner driver. To use the device with LabVIEW, the Bluetooth adapter must use the Microsoft Bluetooth driver. »

When I trie to change the driver in the "Device Manager" there are only the option of TOSHIBA, someone knew how to change it?

I apologize for my English, thank you.

Hello

I understand your problem, but I Don t understand where the problem lies. After a search on google for "Microsoft Bluetooth Stack", I found thousands of results on this issue, please go to www.google.com and type "Microsoft Bluetooth Stack".

Moreover, here some short [Document | www.ezurio.com/files/Microsoft_Bluetooth_Stack.pdf] which explains how to install Microsoft's Bluetooth stack...

Welcome and good luck

You can check the Toshiba site for which specifications you need.  A general rule is to buy something at least two times greater than the one that failed, because the data use and therefore the space doubles every 18 months.

You may want to consider a large enough to allow you to make backups and store in another partition

I can't find it on your site or Toshiba. My driver I think is damaged. My Device Manager, in properties, said to me:
"Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) »

    Hello

Code 39 means that the driver is corrupted or missing.

Please make all below even if you have done some before as it is often the set of operations which solves
    the question.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

    --------------------------------------------------------------

Also check with your system manufacturer to see if there are any updated drivers for your DVD. Or even if it
are you can reinstall the 'old'. Many use Windows default drivers however some special aura
ones. Also check the website of the manufacturer of the car.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Usually you could install it over the old BT stack.
But if you receive a notification that an old BT stack must be removed first, then remove it and then install a new one.

    By the way:
This portal of BT from Toshiba is really useful and helpful. It contains a lot of FAQ s o that could be interesting for you.

  • Drivers for Win XP Toshiba Satellite C660D - 13H

    Hello
I have Satellite C660D - 13H and I just want to work with win XP but unfortunately I can't find the drivers for my model on the Toshiba site. It is possible for this model to work with XP? Because this processor is too weak to Win 7?
    Can someone help me?

    Thank you for the advice,
    S. Stoev

    Hello

It seems that Win XP is not compatible with the Satellite C660D and that's why you can't find the drivers on Toshibas driver pages.
But even if Win XP drivers are not available, you can install Win XP.
But you need to find the XP drivers at your own hand.

Here is a nice document how to determine the necessary drivers:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/Ann.jspa?annID=78

You can also try some XP drivers out of other models of laptops as Satellite C650D

But I recommend to use Win 7, since it is the best OS from Microsoft.
The processor is not too low. Even my 6 years old notebook use Win 7. This OS, I installed and it works properly.

  • Satellite M40-230: what cables are needed to connect to the TV

    Hello

I went to PC World, where I bought my M40 and asked them for cables to connect to my TV using the s-video connection on the back of my laptop.

They said that this was not possible because S-video does not sound.

Does this mean that I have to get a separate cable for audio to use via the speaker/headphone jack?

Please let know us that it is a little confusing.

    Thank you, George.

    Hello

As far as I know it of possible to connect the laptop to the TV with an s-video cable.
The dealer is right, but there are different s-video cables.

You can use one with s-video on one end Jack and taken 3 RCA (2 audio and 1 video) on the other end of the cable. Or you use a SCART instead of the 3 Sockets.

  • Satellite M40-129 and drivers Win7

    Hello

I just installed Win7 on my Toshiba Satellite M40-129. It was really hard... Windows refuses to complete the installation until I deleted pcmcia.sys in the windows system folder.

Now I have the problem that my pcmcia cardbus is working nor my SD card reader. As soon as I ask for Win7 to update driver PCMCIA, the doesn´t of the computer unbootable until I have again to remove pcmcia.sys.

Now my question: I can live with having one for not working the PCMCIA port, but there all the drivers available for windows 7 and the Cardbus SD?

    Thank you very much.

    Technohead

This old Satellite is not supported for Win7 and you won't find any driver for it. It is not easy to configure the hardware on these old books but Win7 has good drivers base and, after several Microsoft updates most of the equipment must be installed correctly.

What you can try is to try to install the driver designed for another model of laptop. Perhaps satellite A100 or Satellite A200. I put t know if this will help but you can test it in any case.

I would certainly appreciate if anyone can share a link to download or torrent file for the * Toshiba recovery disks *.

    Hello alibaba

At first, I must say that I know for sure that Toshiba does not link to the download of the images of recovery. If you have CD/DVD of recovery for your laptop you must buy it.
The CD featured on the photo are really strange. It looks like original Toshiba recovery CD/DVD, but as some recovery done free media. See just print it. I am really confused about this.

Recovery media original Toshiba resembles the following. You see the difference? Of course, in this photo you can see the recovery media for the European market but I can't imagine there are big difference from other countries outside Europe.

Can you please tell me which gives you these CDs?

  • Battery for Toshiba Satellite Pro A100 M50

The battery in the laptop model was PA3399U-2BAS. A vendor has sent a substitute - his number is PA3399U-1BRS. He says he has 95% of its capacity, but when the power cord has been removed from the laptop is dead and will not re-start without plugging the cord back in.

This battery would have an acceptable replacement? The laptop is running on its battery at reduced capacity and needs to be replaced.

    Any thoughts?

    Just for your info:
Toshiba Satellite Pro A100 specifications you can use batteries follow
    PA3399U-2BRS (6cell),
    PA3399U-2BAS (6cell),
    PA3478U-1BRS (9cell),
    PA3478U-1BAS (9cell),
    PA3400U-1BRS (12cell),
    PA3400U-1BAS (12cell).

Start your laptop with AC supply and battery, put the battery and if the battery is correctly recognized remove power supply.
