• Transparency of the IR on bottom of drop-down list filter in IE7

  I have a problem with the transparency of the IR on bottom of drop-down list filter in IE7.
  
  Please try to access http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=36675:2 using IE7.
  
  If you click on the header of the IR to remove the filter down, we could see the bottom of the filter drop-down is semi-transparent and mix with the data in the table below. IT IS VERY difficult to read.
  
  The existing market research indicates it is already fixed in the 4.0.1 however I could reproduce still use IE, version 7.0.5730.11

• Error JS IR to colum filter drop-down list

  I have an IR with a few columns with HTML in there (mainly the anchor tag) tags. When I click on the column header, instead of the drop-down list filter, I get a JS error.
  
  This happens in Internet Explorer (7 and 8), in chrome it works fine.
  
  I have a configuration example below. (use the 'Table name' field to test)

  There is no work around for this problem? I need the link on these columns, and ideally the user should be able to filter on them as well. I disabled when filtering on these columns so that users will not get error.

  I have a table of readonly in my page. On the one hand of the column, I've defined LOV (VO attribute is ID and name will appear in the LOV) in the VO. So in the filter of the Table, he comes as a drop-down list. How can I change this drop-down list for the field of plain text.

  I made a few changes in your application, added a transitional and populated with lov accessor and applied the filter on departmentid of this transitional

  Check it out, in the same way, that you can do for other attributes

  In fact I think that it is the default when you apply lov on certain attribute and then filter works in this way, or you enter the string full or just the value of the id

• Drop-down list in the Organizer 12 elements is missing

  I have a MAC and an organizer of 12 elements.  At the end of the day, I'm trying to understand how to delete folders in the dock of the Organizer.  However, when I select the folder, there is no drop-down list.  I do not see a trash icon and nothing in the toolbar very short above offers any apparent option.

  I don't know what the Mac equivalent of a way to 'right click' windows or how it works.  But again, all I'm trying to accomplish is the removal of specific folders of in the dock of the Organizer.

  Any help would be appreciated!

  When the user types "al", the drop-down list should be further refined to alabama and alaska.

  What I see is when the user types 'al', the list of jumps to lousiana and I won't.

  I think I should fight with javascript written on the drop-down list change event. It would be awesome if someone already have the solution to filter the list according to the user types in each letter.

  I quiet new to LiveCycle designer ARE for a few weeks I am working on it.

  Right now I have problem with filering XML Datasource with the drop-down list.

  I have XML files which includes data for the States and the city. I have one of my drop-down list associated with the State. My requirement is that I chose the 'State' the corresponding city names must appear in the second drop-down list.

  I searched the net and got two or three samples on it. But I failed to do my job of form as a requirement. Even if I generated the XML file structure given in the examples.

  Please check the attached xml file that I created.

  I have struckup right away. So, help me do this.

  Organize bookmarks has been renamed to display all bookmarks in versions of Firefox 4 +.

  Hi Vivek,

  In the OPA, a single drop-down list represents a single answer for a single attribute. So, logically, you can't select more than one answer in a drop-down list.

  If you want to consider the option box as my example of color above, see the User Guide for the takeover and the policy templates included for examples:

• Hide the drop-down list when you print only when "PLEASE SELECT" is selected (unused field).

  Our form has several drop-down lists that by default the option "Choose", and not all of them are used whenever the form is used.  When we print a copy of each document, we would like the (unused) field "Choose" to disappear when printing - to make a copy of paper filter.  Is there a script for this?  I tried to use only the general framework ' Visible but does not print ", but of course, the field prints any - we need to print only when there was one another option as the default"Select"is selected.  Thanks in advance for your help.

  You can use a custom validation script, something like:

  Event.Target.Display = event.value = "choose"? display.noPrint: display.visible;

  To put this into effect, you will need to make a different choice and place it back to "choose." Another option would be to place as a custom Format script.

  In version 11, it works perfectly, but in 12, when the user does not select no matter what filter you get this exception:

  Hi Jose

  In your links, select your list. Then in the Inspector properties at the end, you will see something like optionList (don't remember the name), but you'll know when you see it. Select the index instead of the object.

  I have a drop down filter that I use in a dashboard report. Works very well.  I have no problem creating drop-down filter when the list of values are typed by me by hand. As the year 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010.  Or region, North, South, East or West.  But what happens if I want to filter by customer name?  We have hundreds of customers in the table.  In addition, accounts receivable change daily.  How can I get the drop down to view the customers? In consideration of the separate alphbetically, sorted?  It would be extremely useful to my users to have the ability to produce sales for a particular client activity... in fact, essential.  How to configure the drop-down list?

  I have an embedded in a dashboard report.  I drag the lists that filter the report.  Filter feed results and it works fine.

  I want to put a command button on the dashboard that restores the default values from the dropdown lists.  I have a selection in each drop-down menu, 'all '.  "All" is the default value.

  A drop-down list is the bad INTERFACE design where an element can contain more than 100 entries. It is very good in tests, but absolutely unacceptable if the form must be used by a person busy doing their work. The choice of Acrobat forms are limited, but consider a list box. Despite this, there may be limits imposed by the system or the implementation.

  Better would be

  (a) stop filling after awhile the list and add an entry saying several elements not shown, running report or use better filter

  (b) be available for all filtering of course lists
