Hello

When you say that the drop-down menu navigation bar, are you referring to the submenus? If Yes, can you please check if the step listed in the following post solves the problem for you: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5935269#5935269

I hope this helps.

  • Should what kind of navigation menu bar I do for my website

My site is to start a giant tree that I created in Illustrator and I want to spread over the entire tree navigation an idea I had was a tag like the kind they used to attach to your luggage with string made of paper, I really don't want the words just sitting in the tree either, it looks too boring. I tried to make the larger leaves, but I don't like this idea either it seems irrelevant. Should what kind of Menu bar I do for the site?

design decisions, like beauty, is your call.  but, if you like the idea of leaves and a navigation system that is not particularly easy to use, create a few leaves in your tree that stand out any.  they may not be big and certainly not large enough to display their text.  but the passage of the mouse, they could expand and see their text.

  • Spry navigation menu bar

    Hello

I have a model downloaded from a Web site, that I am editing in dreamweaver. Because menus are already created, I tried to add a spry navigation menu to one of them. Now, I placed the cursor where I need the navigation menu, I chose, insert > spry > bar menus spry now I get a message "dreamweaver does not insert a menu bar in a list.please insert it somewhere else"

I think that the problem lies in the menu bar that is already created? are there ways I can create the navigation bar on the same menu that is already created, because it is very convinient as it is already made.please help.

    Thank you

    Ayaz,

I'd say you're better to remove the old menu and replace it entirely with the new Spry Menu :-)

I think it would be too difficult to try to integrate the two - unless you are very familiar with CSS and Spry.

  • partially hidden dropdowns Spry menu bar

I created a menu bar horizontal spry with subitems which dropdown. This menu bar is in a separate div at the header level.

However, when there is another div below that (in my case appears, and it contains a flash slideshow) in the drop-down list that extends below the div is not visible. Is there a way to force it to be "at the top"? I am testing with Firefox. With IE, the div with the slide show is just down - also not really what I want.

    Joe.

You must set one of the settings of the flash file - I think that winmode to be transparent.

I hope this helps. If you search on questions I asked - if possible - you will see that someone has answered this exact question for me. They provided more details.

  • issue of navigation menu bar

I don't know why I have a problem with a fundamental part of building a Web site, namely, a simple navigation bar. I'm still a beginner. The navigation bar, I'm doing is based on text only, no images, no menu drop down submenus. My question: how to make the text in the menu space itself apart evenly? I studied a few Web sites on the net, has studied the CSS code applied, and again I have a problem. Some designers use html bulleted list and force it to cross horizontally (the CSS to do that I found to turbulent). Another has the menu in a simple 'p' or 'paragraph' tag. Another in the div tag Another put in a table. I've had better progress put them in a table, but they did not always space themselves apart evenly. I put them in a simple "div" tag in this example: http://freywine.com/freywine/example/

As you can see, the menu nav is pretty scrunched up together.

I would like the button on the left (the 'HOME' key) to go all the way to the left (except on a 10 px padding I can easily put in). Same thing for the "DÉTAILS" button to the right all the way to the right. Everything else would be spaced evenly.

What is the way faster and easier to do these menus?

    Thank you!

I found the answer here: http://nopeople.com/design/CSS%20tips/index.html

  • How can I combine the navigation bar and the menu bar on the same line to save space?

V29 Firefox seems to be a huge not backward in customization. I need to save room for the content so already I disabled the tabs and combined in the menu bar and the navigation bar on the same line. The url space is too long anyway. Now with v29 all my customization is gone and I can't get it back. I can move me is more points on the navigation bar to combine it with the menu bar. Why this was done? It limits only my ability to customize my browser? I'm very frustrated that you had a great browser and ruined.

You should see Classic theme restaurateur, it contains many parameters. This module applies to customize Firefox 29. https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/

If the menu bar is hidden, then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, which should make the convening of menu bar.

Make sure the toolbars like the toolbar 'Navigation' and the 'personal bar' are visible: "view > toolbars".

  • Conflicts of the Spry with Flash Dropdown menu bar

I'm using the menu bar horizontal Spry that works very well. However, the drop comes into conflict with a flash animation that I just below the menu bar. Unlike the Adobe home page, the drop-down part of the menu appears behind or gets breath-away from the flash movie. Someone can tell me how I can get the drop down menu to appear above the animation and remain displayed while the animation continues to play (like on the Adobe homepage main navigation bar)? I need to position the elements and index-z allows to stack them?

That's the thing. It works perfectly. Thanks for your help.

  • When I click on "View history" I completely lose the Firefox menu bar, I can't even quit the application without using a keyboard shortcut.

The question describes all this: when I select "view history", the menu bar disappears, so I have no way of navigation, there is no arrow to the left, nothing. I quit Firefox, but only using the Mac keyboard shortcut. I can go back to a previous window only by moving the historic window and I can close this previous window - there is a button for this - but there is NOTHING that will allow me to change, or close, the historical window. My only option is to leave the program.

Both of your corrections helped. The first reminded me that I could simply use command-W to close the library window, because it did not show a close"" button. But your second response on rename these two files really made the tour of Firefox back to his old self once more. Now, everything is back to normal. Thank you.

  • Is there a fix for when the Chinese characters appear to "take back" the menu bar (s)?

Periodically, I notice that the menu bar was "taken over" by these characters, making the navigation and use of the functions difficult or impossible. Close the program and then by reopening sometimes solves this problem for a while, but then it happens again. I think I have the latest version of 38.2.0.
