  • Raw edit be circumvented from Lightroom to CS6

    Greetings from the United Kingdom,

I have Adobe Bridge, Lightroom and CS6 and all worked well until this morning, I use to be able to right click on an edit image CS6 Lightroom and the normal Adobe Raw pane would be presented and adjustments made.

Now when I try the image immediately opens in CS6 bypassing the first orders.

I can open a file directly from CS6 and the Raw pane is presented, similarly when the Raw pane appears in the bridge.

    Any help gratefully received

I find it interesting that, at the same time, the camera raw interface would be displayed when you open an image from Lightroom to Photoshop. The behavior you're seeing now is the normal behavior. Camera raw is simply used to interpret the Lightroom adjustments, the image being spent in Photoshop. But this happens only when Lightroom and Photoshop use the same version of camera raw. Since you're using Photoshop CS6 with Lightroom 6, your camera raw is not at the same level that Lightroom is. As a result, Lightroom creates a PSD or TIF file (depending on your preferences settings) which includes the Lightroom adjustments, and this is the file that is passed to Photoshop.

In any Lightroom/Photoshop workflow, even if the two meme si les deux programmes programs use the same version of Camera Raw, the only time where you work on the image data raw is when working in Lightroom. Once Photoshop is introduced into the workflow, work is no longer with the raw image data.

  • Raw files trial version of Lightroom 4 Troubleshooting

Just downloaded a trial version of Lightroom 4. Am competent in SP6, but have never used Lightroom. I decided to do a practice run through Lightroom using a folder of a recent meeting... some JPEG files are complete and appointed, some have left alone and I have all the raw files in this folder and wait all the folder of photos to 'show' in Lightroom. Only the finished photos appointed only show the image raw files are named, but "not available" to be seen and no matter what format JPEG not worked are not at all. As I say I was just a practice test in Lightroom 4 so I could familiarize myself with its use. Here are the files from a Canon 5 d Mark III. Help me fix this please.

Although I'm not entirely sure of the description of your problem, can I guess these questions make their appearance to the import screen when you try to import this folder at the start? If so, "named finis photos show the image" I interpret as meaning that, for JPEG files that you renamed original (each file has a name!) see you the thumbnails in the central panel of the import screen, which is what you expect.

Original Raw files, not however show not a preview of the image... so what is displayed, any message at all? For raw 5DIII files you need to run LR4.1 or later, can you confirm this is what you use?

JPEG files that you have not renamed and are not showing, I guess they are part of Raw + Jpeg 'pairs' SOOC, is that correct? If Yes, go to the menu of Lightroom Preferences and check, in the section import tab Options general, you have checked the option ' processing JPEG files files next to raw as separate photos. If it is disabled, Lightroom will not show you the Jpeg format half of these "pairs", he will simply make a referral for JPEG in a "sidecar" for Raw format file and the Jpeg format cannot be treated separately. Check the option, however, and you get the separate file...

I have the windows version of Lightroom 6.2.1 and whenever I try to go to edit in Photoshop, he says "this version of Lightroom needs a Camera Raw version 9.2" my photoshop has only 9.1.1.461 for full compatibility.  But my desktop version of Photoshop will accept only Camera Raw 9.2.   HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Does anyone have an idea on this problem.  Or have I been left in a Catch 22?

The latest version of Camera Raw compatible with Photoshop CS6 is 9.1. Lightroom is programmed to warn you when you do not have the version of Camera Raw that is fully compatible. But this does not mean that you cannot continue to use Photoshop. Simply choose the option to open a copy which includes Lightroom adjustments. Lightroom will create the TIF or PSD first, and that the file is what will be opened in Photoshop. It will include all the adjustments you have made using Lightroom. Also, on the screen of your messages, you specify to not display this message. Then, you can continue using Lightroom and Photoshop as you are accustomed to using it. At this point, I don't think that there are no changes that are different. I remember correctly, the only changes made in Camera Raw 9.2 were the additions of new cameras.

In any case, Camera Raw 9.1 is that you can go with Photoshop CS6. If you think that it is necessary for you to have full compatibility, your only option would be to upgrade to the creative cloud. It is really not necessary to do so, however.

No, you pushed PES 11 up to the limit. You could move on to PSE 13, or you can download the free adobe dng converter and use it to make the DNG files that your version of ACR can understand.

  • Receive the error message "this version of Lightroom can require the Photoshop Camera Raw plugin version 9.3 for full compatibility.

    Hi all

I hope there, can someone help me with a Lightroom/Photoshop small but annoying issue.  (I saw a similar post on the subject here, but it was for an earlier version of Photoshop Camera Raw and the answers did not help me).

Whenever I choose to edit in > Photoshop in Lightroom to edit a file I get the message error "this version of Lightroom may require plug-ins verson Raw Photoshop Camera 9.3 for full compatibility.  Now, I know that I can get Lightroom to make the file or hit continue and that he either will get the job done.  But I want to the difficulty of what is the cause.  I'm on a Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10.5, I have Lightroom 6.3 (known as camera Raw 9.3 in the section about Lightroom) and I use Photoshop CS6 13.0.6 x 64.  I tried to click on help > update in Lightroom and Photoshop, but this has not solved the problem.  I tried following the instructions on the Adobe Web site to manually update the Camera Raw plugin that is supposed to be located at (from memory) (root folder) library > Application Support > Adobe > Plugins, but I don't have a Plugins folder (and yes I'm looking in the library under the root folder (, not under my user name).

    Advice!

Camera Raw 9.1.1 is the LATEST version which is compatible with Photoshop CS6.  You will not be able to update to 9.3.  In addition, Lightroom now up to version 6.6.  See the note in this article

  • Stand-alone version of Lightroom cannot find Camera Raw

    Hello

I have the latest version of Lightroom (autonomous) and updated Camera Raw in Photoshop. When I try to snd a Photoshop image from Lightroom, Lightroom complains that Camera Raw is not up to date.

    What can I do?

    Thank you

    Stefan

The version of Camera Raw that see you in Lightroom, it is what is incorporated for Lightroom...

What version of Photoshop are you using?  OK, I see you say CS6

It maybe now CS6 takes no more updates for ACR... Let me check.

EDIT: Ok ACR9.1.1 is the last version for CS6 so that you will always get now that opening from Lightroom... you must choose Lightroom to make... and then when you want to edit the PSD in Photoshop still choose to modify the Original.

  • Why can´t I synchronize photos with their previous version in lightroom after doing editations in Photoshop?

    Hello!

-J' have a RAW-foto in Lightroom, that I have already edited with tools in lightroom (color, clarity, whitebalance etc..)

-I need to change some things in Photoshop, so I right click and select (CTRL + E) "(Edit in photoshop)"

-A version without my lightroom to photoshop editations openes, I do my editations it

-J' I save the photo in photoshop, and it is imported to my catalog of lightroom as a PSD file, being stacked with the original. -well, now the problem:

-If I select the new and the original version (RAW + PSD file) and try to synchronize my editations to lightroom for the PSD of the file, changes color completely and there are even a few place moves through the face of the model, that DO NOT EXIST in the original photo this synchronization to I m starting! WHY! I really do not understand...

See here on my Dropbox for a better understanding (for some reason that I can't download the pictures directly here):

    Dropbox - help adobe

Thank you for your help appreciated

Process of synchronization of lla you describe, it's not how it should work. When you edit in Photoshop with Ctrl-E, Lightroom, must pass the file raw and XMP data for your montages on Photoshop. Photoshop uses his Camera Raw engine to make these changes, and you should see a background layer that has all of your edits included.

the fact that you do not see the changes in Photoshop makes me suspicious that you have an old version of Photoshop (with an old Camera Raw). What version of LR and PS do you use? If you use an older Photoshop here, by what to do:

Normally, you will see a dialog box warning that would give you the opportunity to 'Return in Lightrom', but you may have disabled it. To reset, go in Edition > Preferences > General and click the button "reset all warning dialog boxes.»

Once you do this, opening in an earlier version of Photoshop will trigger an alert allowing you the choice of 'open anyway', or "make in Lightroom."  You must choose to render in Lightroom.

recently purchased a samsung NX30 camera which came with lightroom 5, after several hours of searching on Google I got it setup properly with the right camera raw to be able to access my raw images. I found that my old laptop is very slow during the processing of hundreds of images that I usually take on a weekly basis.  I bought a new faster laptop, but when I looked for the cd with the software of series and I couldn't find in the mess of Christmas.  I downloaded a trial version of lightroom and got, it works on my new laptop. Is there a way to access the serial number of my version already installed and insert it in the version of track to make it work for me?

    Myron

If you take the time to register to your original with Adobe installation (which most people do not), you can log in to your Adobe account and get the serial number. If you use a Windows computer and still have access to the old computer where Lightroom is installed, you can do the following:

    1. in the window folder options, make sure that you are able to see hidden folders.

    2. go to the C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Lightroom folder.

    3. use Notepad to open the file, Lightroom 5.0 Registration.lrreg

You will be able to retrieve your serial number of this file.

I have the version of Lightroom 6 buy. I uninstalled and reinstalled. But now I can't update. Need me always to Adobe Creative cloud, which I did not. How can I do?

At some point in the past (I don't know the exact date) Adobe "merged" the original update manager in cloud Update Manager, which means that you no longer use your original update manager

I read a lot of posts that the updater latetest (cloud) sometimes does not work with old programs... Try to install your updates manually

Beginning of the updates here and product selection, read to see if you need to install updates in the order of the numbers, or if updates are cumulative for the product http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

Can what version of lightroom I use on mac OS 10.11 which is not connected to the internet?  I have lightroom 3, but upgrades to Mac OS 10.11 and now the library behaves strangely with question marks on the folder icons.

The only version currently on sale is version 6.  It is available in creative cloud and non - Creative Cloud.  The Cloud Creative version requires no continuous internet Connection, but is required periodically to check the status of the subscription.  The non_Cloud version requires no internet

I tried a trial version of lightroom 6 and edited hundreds of photots I need to find the export files are small non-printable, about 600 kbs. So I bought lightroom 6 hoping to save my changes on all the photos. However with my purchase of more than a week, my picture exports are still about 600 kbs. Not printable! I'm signed and registered. Whats happening?

Looks like you have been in the library module and chose with a preset export or export to email. Whatever it is, your Presets 'export' were to reduce the size of the image exported to about 600 k.

In Lightroom, the library module and under the file menu, simply select the Word Export. Who will open another dialog box. GO through each option in this dialog box to choose where you want to export the file, what color space to use, what name to give to each folder, what metadata to include and do not forget to select the export size! I included a few screenshots for your reference.

If you export exactly the same path several times, you can create your own export preset to make this process faster.
