    Original title: upgrade Windows 10

I have a Dell Studio 1749 under Windows 7 Home Premium.   I postponed the upgrade of Windows 10 to the present day.  The update file appears in the control panel Windows Update Panel, but when I click start it restarts Windows 7 simply and tells me that the new updates have been installed but it was Windows 7 updates since yesterday.

-Did you change on your computer before the show?

I suggest you to download Microsoft Safety Scanner, scan your computer for viruses and malware then check how it works.

You can download Microsoft Safety Scanner from the link "scan to Microsoft Security.

Note:  The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. • my laptop is divided into 2 profiles. How can I remove the 2 profiles without deleting the programs in profiles

I want to remove the 2 profiles that divides my laptop. I wish well for my laptop one without loseing computer programs that have been added. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 2650

    Oh

Here is an answer from another forum posted by Rick Rogers:

"There is no method of merging the accounts, simply choose one or.
others and save the data of the impeachment.

Start and connect to one you want to keep. Open Windows Explorer as
Administrator (click right/run as admin) and take ownership of files in
the other profile that you want to save (under your registered profile). You may need to go to start / Control Panel / folder
Options/display/and check the box to see hidden and system files to do (if you do not, you will not miss important information - in particular about your programs). Move the
files you want to put on your user profile. »

There are some files that you should not move - they are documented in the following article: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile (which is very close to what do you except that you are not from a user account fresh but one that already exists).

NOTE: Before removing the old profile, I would make absolutely sure all your data are moved and accessible, and that all your programs work correctly.  The time to solve a problem, if there is while you still have available data - not after it has been deleted.  Frankly, I'd let the old profile sitting there for a few weeks or more, just to be on the right side (if you have the space, and I suspect you do).

Here is more information about the permissions you need permissions in its own right and to take ownership of:

To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/.  To add take and the issuance of right of permissions and ownership in the right click menu (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/05/21/take-and-grant-full-control-permissions-and-ownership-in-windows-7-or-vista-right-click-menu/.

To resolve this problem with folders, appropriating the files or the drive (as an administrator) and give you all the rights.  Right-click on the folder/drive, click Properties, click the Security tab and click on advanced and then click the owner tab.  Click on edit, and then click the name of the person you want to give to the property (you may need to add if it is not there--or maybe yourself). If you want that it applies to subfolders and files in this folder/drive, then check the box to replace the owner of subcontainers and objects, and click OK.  Back and now there is a new owner for files and folders/player who can change the required permissions.  You can change now switched to read-only (even if the main folder indicates that they are always read-only - you can access yourself as the owner).  You can keep them in read-only to other users, customers and administrators even (although they can support themselves and access, if they wish, and it is really not that you can do to stop it except protect the file with a password by using a 3rd party product.)  Here is more information on the ownership of a file or a folder: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67717-take-ownership-file.html.  To add take ownership in the menu of the right click (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • How can I remove another account icloud without the help of the person?

Hello, I need to delete an account from an ipad icloud. I had my nephew stay and he added his account for ipad from my mom, who she would now like to use. Unfortunately, it is unlikely to help me remove. There is no nice way to explain the situation, but basically, he stole a lot of things and ended up in prison. I have a number of crime when it was stolen, but the ipad was never because he did not leave the property. Of course, the ipad is not sound, is anyway apple will be able to help me? Thank you very much

If you were the original purchaser of the iPad (i.e. he not was purchased used) then you could try to go to an Apple Store (make a Genius Bar appointment if you do) or try to contact iTunes Support Online (http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/) and see if they can remove the iPad on the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership before they could for example help original receipt with the serial number top

    Hello

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Try to scan your computer for the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Method 2: Try to start your system in safe mode and then try to uninstall the program.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Method 3: Solve the problems installing and uninstalling the programs on Windows computers.

I worked in an email client (Outlook, not) and has highlighted a Word. I accidentally dragged and anchored somehow on my screen. He now appears on top of all my programs and on the desktop, and I can't find a way to remove it. I tried to look at the records office various users, Windows, Program Data, but cannot find anything. I changed the desktop wallpaper and screen saver, and it's still there. I tried to refresh the screen, and it's still there, floating like the smile of the Cheshire Cat. Any ideas?

    Thank you!

Thank you very much for your answer. Fortunately, I have not try your suggestions.

  • How can I remove hao123 homepage hijack without resetting Firefox?

I've seen a few posts on hao123 but nothing works. To clarify, I don't have the tools/software toolbar on my computer (at least according to the control panel) and I uninstalled WeChat of Tencent in the case which was the cause. However, I always get the diversion of hao123.

I also ran MalwareBytes and RogueKiller and deleted a bunch of results, but it solves for a little while before the problem returns.

The only thing I have not tried the reset is Firefox, but I would really like to avoid this if possible.

    My questions are:

-Are there a way to get rid of him without resetting Firefox?

-If not, is there a way in general?

-If I have to reset Firefox, is there a way to save on my bookmarks/settings?

    Thank you!

I think that I thought about it. Apparently the free anti-virus I used reported only recently begun to redirect the homepage of hao123. He has not done this when I started using it.

I uninstalled it and the problem seems to have disappeared. I'll leave this open until tomorrow to check that it is not.
