Duplex printing legal size paper Officejet Pro 7680

I need to print the duplex of legal-size Publisher document.  I understand that my printer duplex setting doesn't support legal size paper... y at - there a way to change this, or a product that made HP or another printer that would be recommended?  I have to print several copies once a week if you need something automatic rather than printing on one side and then manually feeding to the next part.  Thank you.

Thank you for your response and the sharing of this information and/or document, which confirms the legal paper size cannot be used for printing with the auto duplexer.

I'm sorry, but it will take maybe use the manual duplex option or go to another product tailored to your needs.

  • OfficeJet 100: Officejet 100 print legal size paper?

    Hello

I hope that there could be a solution for this. Several users here have a problem with their printers Officejet 100 legal-size paper printing. Below is part of an email I received about this which explains it better that I could.

«Apparently some of the reps there have problems printing their contracts of legal size on their mobile printers HP Officejet 100.» It's happened for quite a while. The printer recognizes the document as the legal document, but printing is disabled: it begins printing in the middle of the image.

VRP have found a solution: they must go to the printer properties and choose explicitly legal paper in the drop size. It is already selected by default, but if they select manually it will print correctly. The problem is that: 1) it is a manual workaround, they must do so for EACH print, and 2) they frequently forget and have to reprint. »

They have already tried to install latest print drivers, but that has not helped. Printers seem to operate normally except for this. What could be the cause of this?

    Thank you.

According to your specifications of the printerthis printer supports legal size paper, which is good. First of all, I would like to try running our HP print and Scan Doctor, to ensure that no conflict of driver. If all goes well, try the following:

  • Re: How to scan legal size in OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus documents

How to scan legal size documents in Office Jet Pro 8600 Plus?

In fact, the problem was located. I is broke and finally called HP support. It turns out that, contrary to the information that I have seen elsewhere, legal size paper MUST be analysed the ADF, not the dish. You can see a white band across the plateau where the search starts. The dish is physically unable to accommodate legal communication. Once the original is loaded in the ADF, the size of the document options now include legal communication.

  • Not completely scan legal size with Officejet Pro 8600 more Documents

I'm trying to scan legal documents of sizes on my Officejet Pro 8600 Plus new. I have gone through the forums, and this has been a recurring problem in the past (see link- http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Scanning-Faxing-and-Copying/Scanning-Legal-Size-Documents/m-p/35416#M14...   ), but doesn't seem to be resolved. If I use the document feeder or glass, the paper is cut down and seems to be stopping at the "A4", legal vs. size. I can't find any setting on the scanner itself, or in the HP Utility software to change this, or even to be able to identify the current configuration, if it is a.

I use a Mac Pro, system 10.6.8 just installed and started using the printer a couple of days, and everything is up-to-date software-wise. Everything else on the machine works beautifully.

Can anyone identify what is happening here and how to fix?

Thanks for your help - I chose precisely this particular unit on the next model down because of the glass/size bed legal, and if I can't use it to scan legal documents, well, it's a problem. Thanks for your help!

  • OfficeJet pro 8610: I can scan letter legal-size on officejet pro 8610

Is it possible to scan format letter to a legal size on the officejet pro 8610?

    Hello

    The card says:

Size maximum ● scan from the scanner glass:

    ◦U.S. letter (A): 215,9 x 279.4 mm (8.5 "x 11")

    ◦U.S. legal (HP Officejet Pro 8620 and HP Officejet Pro 8630 only): 215,9 x 355,6 mm (8,5

    inches x 14 inches)

    ◦ISO A4: 210 x 297mm (8.27 x 11.7 in)

Size maximum ● of the scan from the ADF:

    ◦ADF: 216 x 356 mm (8.5 x 14 inches)

The original format letter, it will scan format letter through ADF so my suggestion:

    b analyze then, letter size

    (b) printing on legal size. After that

    (c) analyse the legal size.

    Kind regards.

  • HP 8630 OfficeJet Pro print double-sided on legal size paper

I just bought a HP OfficeJet Pro 8630 can I print successfully on each Board standard size paper and print on legal paper (from each drawer).  I can print one side, but the driver seems not to allow the duplex legal communication.

I tried in all stores (I have read on the set 2 only for plain paper, but as I understand it, which applies only to the brilliant vs plain and not of different paper sizes).  In any case, I put my legal paper in Tray 1 and set tray on shift, and the default for tray 2, which seems that it will be a good idea in the future, when we use envelopes, etc.

But...  The problem that I'm having it is when I go to the printer properties dialog box, if I use duplex printing either on the long edge or short, the legal (and most other choices for paper sizes) have a yellow/triangle exclamation point icon and if I ignore the warning to resolve differences, which either don't let me out of the modal dialog box , or it will just print single-sided anyway.

I can't find someone else complain that duplex printing legal size does not work, it seems as it should be, but I am at a loss of the configuration of the printer to make it work.  Any ideas?  Success stories?

I use the latest firmware (FDP1CN1416AR, patch, version 0) and the driver (just downloaded, can't figure out how to get the actual number of installed version)

    Thank you.

    Hello

The duplex accessory does not support Legal paper size, it is an expected behavior.

You can perform manual duplex printing using Pages of print options to print the odd pages only, then replace the printed sheets and send other pages even only... the Pages of print options print job is under print options > Layout > advanced.

You can find the printer specifications below, check the duplexer column according to the specifications of paper output > paper sizes supported:

    Hi people,

My Officejet Pro 8600 Plus does not show an option for print legal size paper in the settings window. He concluded "Automatic" watch and otherswhich are not legal.

By selecting the "Automatic" option, it only prints the format letter from the bed of glass or the status bar.

    I am using Windows 7, 64-bit.

What can I do copy of legal size documents?

HP support has solved my problem.

Country setting must be defined in the USA. If it is set in Mexico City, no paper of legal size option is available for this region. Can't understand why.

  • OfficeJet x476dw: officejet pro x476dw legal size paper adf scan

    Hello

I've been using officejet pro x476dw for 6 months, and I realized that I can't scan legal size paper 2 sides.

It is impossible to scan legal-size documents 2 faces on ADF?

    I need to scan MANUALLY?

If this machine supports 2-side of legal paper scan, are there other ways to facilitate this work?

I often scan more than 40 pages with 2 faces legal paper...

    Please help me experts... TT

I heard, Canon and Ricoh offer some disc to make it possible to use software...

HP offers this kind of software too?... TT

    Hello

Sorry to inform that x476dw model only support scanning two-sided (2 sides) up to letter size but it support simplex (1 side), scanning up to legal size.

I suggest you to analyze manually with the help of flat, if you have only a few pages. But as you mentioned above, you often need to scan > 40pgs double face of legal papers. One way is to digitize the odd pages and even pages separately and try to use 3rd party app for example Pdfsam (www.pdfsam.org), basic version is open source (free to use) to merge the 2 files into 1.

    1. Load your stack of documents by normal with the first pages (pg 1, 3... 39) facing upward on the Doc feeder, ADF
    2. Analyze the stack of papers in pdf & registered as 1 file
    3. Flip & organize your stack of papers since the last GP from (pg 40, 38, 2) meet in AAD
    4. Analyze the stack of papers in pdf & registered as 2nd file
    5. Start of Pdfsam - use the "Different mix" standard Plugin to merge the 2 scans
    6. First select 1 file by the 2nd file tracking
    7. Select 'Destination output file' and 'Run' to merge to a full "duplex" scanned PDF.

Refer to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZf50gRzDho for example on the use of Pdfsam

    Hello

The analysis of parameters need to be changed to HP Scan App. launch of the HP scan application from your computer and select the option left (PDF or JPEG...) and then choose the size of legal scan on the right.

    Save and close the application.

Now you can scan in legal.

    Note:

You can also create your own settings for scanning HP scanning parameters.

I have just purchsed the HP Office Jet Pro 8600 Plus and I wanted to print on legal size paper, but I can't figure out how to do this.  Can anyone help?

There is a blue tab at the end of the paper tray.  That push and the plateau extends to the legal size.  Hope that helps.  Now what about this one: I want to charge 11 "legal in Tray 1 and tray 2 and, hopefully, the printer will know what bin to shoot when you print legal documents?
