no option of legal size in officejet 8600

Hi people,

My Officejet Pro 8600 Plus does not show an option for print legal size paper in the settings window. He concluded "Automatic" watch and otherswhich are not legal.

By selecting the "Automatic" option, it only prints the format letter from the bed of glass or the status bar.

I am using Windows 7, 64-bit.

What can I do copy of legal size documents?

HP support has solved my problem.

Country setting must be defined in the USA. If it is set in Mexico City, no paper of legal size option is available for this region. Can't understand why.

How to scan legal size documents in Office Jet Pro 8600 Plus?

In fact, the problem was located. I is broke and finally called HP support. It turns out that, contrary to the information that I have seen elsewhere, legal size paper MUST be analysed the ADF, not the dish. You can see a white band across the plateau where the search starts. The dish is physically unable to accommodate legal communication. Once the original is loaded in the ADF, the size of the document options now include legal communication.

    Hello

    The card says:

Size maximum ● scan from the scanner glass:

    ◦U.S. letter (A): 215,9 x 279.4 mm (8.5 "x 11")

    ◦U.S. legal (HP Officejet Pro 8620 and HP Officejet Pro 8630 only): 215,9 x 355,6 mm (8,5

    inches x 14 inches)

    ◦ISO A4: 210 x 297mm (8.27 x 11.7 in)

Size maximum ● of the scan from the ADF:

    Hello

The analysis of parameters need to be changed to HP Scan App. launch of the HP scan application from your computer and select the option left (PDF or JPEG...) and then choose the size of legal scan on the right.

    Save and close the application.

Now you can scan in legal.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 does not scan full page legal-size

I have seen this question several times in these forums, but solutions do not apply to me - I can not find the applications or the settings or patches do not resolve the problem. I am running Windows 8 32-bit with a HP Officejet Pro 8600. When you scan a legal size document, the entire page is not scan, even when I select a custom size. The bottom is cut roughly where a letter size page would end.

If you respond with a solution, please be very specific, i.e. If you say "Control Panel", you mean the control panel of Windows 8 or the small touch screen of the printer itself? If you want "pull me up to the HP application", please say that the we - there are several installed on this computer, and I've tried them all.

  • Copy of Documents of legal size on HP Officejet PRo 8600 Premium

"When I try to copy a legal-size paper (8 1/2"x 14") my 8600 copy only the first 11" document, even if I have paper of legal size in the status bar.  It doesn't matter if I use the dish or the document feeder.  When I go to 'Settings', 'Resize', it has no option to tell the 8600 as the original is of legal size paper in the tray is the legal size.  Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?

The answer is Yes, missed me a setting.  Found the answer elsewhere on this forum, even if I had been previously.  In any case, the setting was found on the control panel by selecting copy, settings and, above all, pressed the arrow down button on the screen to find (drum roll, please) the paper size setting.  I was not somehow, because you can scroll down for more options.  I hope this post helps others who have encountered the same difficulty.

    2. OR if I use the HP application on my computer to select legal size - how can I scan multiple pages at once?

I have several pages to scan in separate pdf files and they are all written in pencil, so I can't use the charger.  I accidentally stumbled a bit through power at first and now it is dirty and the creation of lines and streaks on all my scans that are powered by the intermediary.

How can I get my printer Officejet Pro 8600 all-in-0ne take legal paper?  The printer's specifications say it prints legal size, but the tray is letter size.

  • HP OfficeJet 8600 and Custom paper sizes

I have a HP OfficeJet 8600 for 2 years now, and I've never had a problem with it until today.

I bought a few cards with inserts that I can print on, however, because it is a custom size, I can't print on it. The printer has no option to set a custom paper size.

So, I do the obvious thing and Google a solution. The firmware update I read... no luck. The update utility can't find my printer on the network even if I print it to 3 different computers, and I can browse his IP in Chrome and check the Web page.

Try a different driver (Win 64-bit 8.1)... the steps that I follow do not work, and when I get them to work, there is nothing different.

I tried to do on my MacBook Pro too, but I can not do anything there either.

Totally ridiculous, which releases a product with this MASSIVE floor!

I am very angry that now I have to put it back write more than 100 of these cards

So I found out how to check the updates of the printer itself, and I have updated firmware, so that rules out.
