DVD to eject on the Studio Hybrid

I installed Vista from a 'regular' DVD rather than the recovery DVDs. Now eject "button" on the DVD drive no longer works. It lights up when I insert a disc, but when I press it to eject the disk light flashes a few time and will Dim without the disc. I now have to eject by right clicking on the drive. Someone at - it suggestions?

  • DVD stuck in the Studio Hybrid?

I tried to burn a DVD and insert a blank disc, but the player would not recognize it. I hear that the Player keeps trying to read. As you already know the eject button on these hybrids studio never work properly. So I tried to eject using a right click in Windows Explorer (on Vista), but only thing happened the Explorer crashed.

After trying several times I wanted to restart and see. However then it stopped starting upwards. The progress bar from Microsoft comes and then I get a blank screen. The DVD player can cause anything like that?

I thought to open the machine and trying to manually release the DVD. Don't you think it's possible?

Any help is very appreciated. As I said, it is a hybrid of Studio with Vista on it.

    Thank you!!!

It's so old, but this is the file that you, boys need - it's the "Intel DELL0100 proximity sensor Driver (ACPI). When you install it should work your eject button. Maybe someone else who still use this old ball over time will benefit after their 10 windows upgrade.

  • DVD PLAYER CAN'T READ DVD MEDIA IN THE STUDIO HYBRID DESKTOP

You will appreciate the help a lot about this question. I have the desktop studio hybrid 140G. For the past few weeks the cd/dvd drive rom played inconsistent dvd media files. But since last week it has completely stopped playing DVD media. Although it opens the audio cd and dvd software installation files. I updated the dvd player but the problem persists. On the control panel if I check the current status of the dvd player, it shows - works correctly. I am running windows vista and the cd/dvd rom drive is TSSTcorp DVD +-RW TS - T633A ATA Device. Hopefully, there is a solution for this that I am running out of ideas. I run Dell diagnostics. in the end, it's show "a few problems identified but diagnosis impossible to find a solution; No DVD disc not recognized. "

  • Iconia W3 Recovery DVD could not perform the complete installation

Hi, my Acer Iconia W3-810 comes with a recovery DVD. When I try to reinstall Window 8 on tablet PC using Acer recovery media, he could not complete the installation. The system of updating the restore process finished about 33% before moving to 100% and DVD was ejected from the car. There is no place to put the product key or any other information. Windows can be started with very limited after the installation functions. There are no wireless devices. Does anyone know similar problem and how to fix it. Thank you.

Well I don't know that the recovery CD has all the special Intel drivers. Once you start, it may be necessary to run the package of pilot to support.acer.com for your table in order to restore the additional drivers.

  • No ejection of the DVD/CD of E420s drive!

I've tried everything! The stupid thing is not to eject the DVD I put in it. I installed the utility, eject ODD and I can't even this program to run without talking about my drive to eject. I also read somewhere that there is a force eject in the BIOS and is not found. I tried hitting eject in Windows and that no longer works. Looks like he's trying it just fails...

    Help?

I found the problem when I called tech support and they said that it is usually a software problem, not a hardware problem.

Started Ubuntu from a flash drive and could pop the DVD in and out throughout the day.

I went back to my windows and tinkered a bit and figured out every time that the DVD was stuck in there, all I had to do was stop explorer.exe and restarting and the DVD can be skipped. So I reformatted my HARD drive and now works perfectly, always. It was just on the seedy Image of Lenovo that it comes with.

Who can I call to report this? The generic support of Lenovo?

  • Studio hybrid with the problem of resolution LCD TV (HDMI)

My Studio Hybrid has arrived today. I plug it to my LCD TV (Philips 42TA2800) via HDMI.

The TV has proposed a recommended 1360 x 768 resolution. The problem is, I couldn't find this resolution under the video control panel. The PC tell me that the optimal resolution is 1900 x 1080, but when this resolution is set, the edge of the desk is not seen (beyond the coverage of my TV). The best resolution I can put is only 1600 x 900, which leaves a black border around the desktop computer.

One thing, I see that the TV shows 1080i on its screen when I first start the PC and boot Dell log fills all TV. But once the Vista is loaded, it leaves the border around the Office under the resolution of 1600 x 900.

    Pls advice. Thank you.

  • Error code 19. Drive CD-ROM/DVD-Rom Dell studio hybrid.

Seen 'Spirit X' answer on the forum and run 'Mr Fixit' article id ref 314060 claiming to have fixed it but problem persists!

    Hello

You did ALL this as suggested? Please restart at the top and working down the list, as is often
the set of operations that solves the problem.

19 code means there is a driver conflict such as two devices attempt to use the same resources.

Please make all below even if you have done some before as it is often the set of operations which solves
    the question.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack.

Normally the above will solve this problem otherwise working your way down through them, even if you did
    them before.

  • CD/DVD does not recognize the drive.

CD/DVD does not recognize the drive.  Error message-"Insert a disk." "" "Insert a disk in the drive (E or F, depending on whether one in use).  I bought a DVD/CD thought exteranl today that might work.  Same error message with the external dvd/cd.  Can hear the disc turning when it is inserted during a short period of time, maybe 20 seconds, then it stops.  Sometimes, the disc is ejected when the error message appears, sometimes not.  Same results even with blank CDs.

    Hello

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
the correct registry entries for your car.

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
    the parameters.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Hardware Profiles\0001\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE
