• DW6 on screen FHD

  I have been using DW6 on Windows 10 computer with a display of 1366 x 768 and all the tools and controls displayed properly.

  I just moved to a new laptop with Windows 10, but with a full HD, 1920 x 1080 display.   Dreamweaver does not display correctly.  Note the properties panel below, where I am unable to choose how a link opens.

  Anyone have any suggestions on how to restore the good presentation and display the content?

  I changed to the coder more view and even truncation of my properties panel remains.

  I also have Fireworks 5.5 on my computer and that the application everything is displayed properly.

  I found the preference reset instructions for DW6 and did, without effect.

  HOWEVER, I found a solution.  The size of the font on my HP 13D is 150%.  When I took this to 100%, the icons and the tiny text, but the full menu 'target' appear.  I have what I need!

• Problem of fluid page layout grid DW6: writing to the page instead of the css file

  DW6 using (version 12, ownership, build 5861) on Windows 7 64 bit.

  After the tutorials and help files to use the grid to fluid.

  1. Launch a blank page on a new site, which inserts the div of starter and the new css file
  2. Immediately save page which also generates / saves auxiliary files (js and css).
  3. Remove inner div that is created in order to use my own (tried also leaving room for a default value and use)
  4. Insert the new div within the div 'clearfix gridContainer.
  5. Place the cursor just after this new div, always inside the "gridContainer clearfix" and add a new 'fluid grid layout div tag', new line.
  6. Following the same method, do it again.
  7. Dreamweaver adds the CSS code generated to the actual page instead of the expected div visibly (minified)... and everything breaks. To do this, * not * add the code in the CSS file from there and the only way to have it show the div (which show no visual indicators since the CSS is essentially lost who would do it, CTRL-Z to undo the last step. It cancels the CSS presentation as the only content in the HTML file, and * is * display a div with the name I had given him. If I copy and paste this CSS generated in the fluid css file * so * CTRL-Z, he looks at the way she's supposed to, with drag handles, visible fingerprints and so on.
  8. If I then change div widths or position, it saves these changes in the CSS file, it seems that it is only when inserting new div tags after another is a problem third div inside the container is when it starts choking; no overlap).

• DW6 acting a bit

  I dw6 and it has been giving me random errors at the time, I guess they can come from some of the extensions I have installed. This morning I tried to use the layout grid of liquid and it got me the following error:

  Any ideas? I tried to call Adobe and said they have no phone or chat support for this. Help!

  Generally, javascript like that errors can be fixed by clearing the cache or program to rename the personal configuration file.

  Remove the attribute target tags on the homepage.

  I work with DW4 and has a huge problem with DW6. I had a table with 2 columns. The colonel on the left the list of different topics with links to files. By clicking on the links on the page should then appear in the right column. No one knows how to do?

  When I try to upload files to the server in DW6 I get the error "file incomplete activity. 1 file (s) or folder (s) unfinished. "I checked the user, password, and path with server technicians and all info is correct. I can download ok with Filezilla. Indices regardless to what goes wrong?

  Nothing to do with Java.

  JavaScript is entirely different and Dreamweaver relies heavily on it.

• Sites do not stay in DW6 once it closes

  I have CS6. This applies to Dreamweaver. It works fine on this machine for many

  months. I am an experienced Web Designer, use Adobe products for years.

  Suddenly, when I asked him to show me the files for my sites, none appear. On the contrary, manage Sites

  You have me thinking in the right direction. Earlier, I had tried a Windows restore, but it wouldn't work as my AV was blocking the necessary file change. I managed to calm down the AV long enough to allow a restore to a couple of weeks, and now the sites are back in sight!

  The disconcerting thing about things like that, when they occur is you can get it repaired, but never know exactly what caused the problem. Probably some sort of corrupted file or update...

• drive hard crash dw6

  so I have built a few sites using dw6 and yesterday my hard drive crashed, was able to get new sshd installed and tried to retrieve info from my bad disc and there is nothing there. is it possible to recover these files through the server etc?  Help!

  Yep, really simple too...

  1 create new empty folders on your desktop for your sites

  2. in DW, go to Site > New

  3 give the site a name and choose one of the newly created for your file folders root Local

  4 Add your FTP Info for the site and save

  5. connect to your site via the files window

  6. choose the command Get (down arrow), then click 'Yes' when asked 'do you want to get the entire site.

  7 rinse and repeat for each site.

• Followed the instructions, Creative Cloud Desktop installed, but not DW6

  I'm trying to reinstall DW6.  Jammed when CC would not install.  Installed, but always impossible to reinstall DW6.

  There was nothing, no message, no nothing.  Finally, I spent an hour with technical support and it solved the problem.

• Setting up a site in DW6

  Trying to put up a new site in DW6 but the server Panel does not work. See attached picture. Nothing there but a presentation explanatory text. No buttons, nothing.

  Using an iMac with OS 10.7.5 and DW CS6 downloaded from the creative cloud.

  I also installed DW4 but I do not see how to compromise.

  I already tried to delete the configuration file, and then reinstall DW6.

  Would be recognizing some help - it's unusable DW6 fault.

  This is the same dialog box I have. You must click or double-click the left menu items. If you click on the Site, you will get a dialog box asking for the location and the name of the site.

• DW6 download does not work properly

• DW6 css dropdown menu help

  eager to create a drop down list using css.  I created this using < ul > and < li > tags, but for some reason he looks right. My html code seems to be OK and I double checked the css and can't seem to find what I did wrong. I chose the tags in a tag to hide, the text is hidden, but the boxes are still displayed.  can someone help a rookie and see what I've done wrong?
