  a previous Setup attempt may have installed a caps.db file.  Search your drive for these files c.

  If these files do not exist, copy your installation files on your disk to install on your desktop and install from there.  If that fails (or meaningless), download the installation files and use them to install:

  There is no need to install the Cs2 prieur for the CS4 installation. You can directly install the CS4.

  Since CS4 was released before the function of guardian of OSX, maybe the default is interfering with the installation process.

  Try the parameter in the screenshot below and if it works, change the value by default after you're done.

  Follow this procedure if it fails again below:

  Solution 1:

  1 use the cleanup tool to remove all associated with your machine CS 4: use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems

  2 remove the "Caps" folder to the location:

  WIN 64 Bit: program files x86\Common Files\Adobe\caps\caps.db

  WIN 32 bit: Program Files Files\Adobe\caps\caps.db

  3. after that, install the downloaded file.

  Solution 2:

  1. create new admin account.

  2 - install from this account.

  3 - Once installed, you are free to delete the account and all the files in the new account.

  Hello, I need to use an older version of InDesign to work with one of my clients. I have the physical box of CS4, but I can't use this installer because it is on DVD and I just got a new iMac without a hard drive. So I downloaded of Abobe, InDesign CS4 Setup, but when I try to validate my code it does not work. My physical box of CS4 is a Design Premium UPGRADE version, but the InDesign Installer is not validate my old number CS3 either. I tried phone support, no use: no support for these former products supplied (shame). Since I regularly bought all my CS versions from a dealer here in Italy it's extremely embarrassing, and I lose a precious time for this instead of working on a project.   The product you are trying to install/activate must be the same product for which the serial number has been assigned originally.  If the serial number is a suite then you must install using the suite.  Each product can be installed outside the suite.

  want the ups to shut down the VM with elegance on the NAS, then stop the ESXi server gracefully.

  I can plug a UPS into the NAS via USB and have the SIN 'shutdown' but I know not if that normally stops the virtual machine first then ESXi server?

  I have not idea what to use for the ESXi server. It can be as simple as connect a USB to a UPS in the ESXi server and configure something in vSphere but I "just guessing

  Not exactly, this error occurs if the file has a problem or if you need to compress the file is unable to access it from the downloaded Setup file. Where the error mentions - Error 1612.  The installation source for this product is not availablee.

  Make sure that the size of the installation file is correct as stated on the Web site.

  Optional: If you wish you can re - download file, before you can perform the optional steps below:

  (1) delete the Temp folder. [skip these files that cannot be deleted]

  (2) temporarily disable the firewall and anti-virus.

  (3) If you use Wireless / Wifi Internet connection, try to download using the wired Ethernet connection in more stable connection.

  (4) make sure that this will be the only download current running, multiple downloads simultaneously affect connectivity if the speed decreases due to sharing.

  Note: Avoid download interruption and resumption.

  I have a computer that is running on a 32-bit system. As such, I can't use the cs6 to After Effects and Premier Pro cc versions. I successfully downloaded the cs4 versions and have the files on my computer. I unzipped the files and tried to run the application. I wonder to extract the files (again) to run. I do, but after extraction finished, diolouge box closes and nothing happens.

  I tried several times, I completely stop my computer, but this continuous loop that occur.

  Once the extraction through, Setup may need to be initialized manually with the setup.exe installation files / in the folder that was extracted...

  No, CS6 won't do anything to your CS4. However, be aware that there may be problems compatibiliuty. By example, if the installation replaces a PDF library used in the world and CS4 can handle, export to PDF is not possible in CS4 programs. Similarly, all file associations point to CS6 after installation, which means by double clicking on a file will open in CS6, not Cs4 and things as a bridge from one call programs will also use the CS6 version. Finally, you may experience problems when removing CS6 and the uninstall program removes an essential element of overall used by CS4 because he thinks only of his own thing. So in summary: within the limits, it will be safe and even if you let the trial run without making a purchase, it would be preferable to leave the CS6 on the machine after that to avoid complications.

  I've used photoshop since ps5.  I currently use CS4 extended on a PC.

  I recently downloaded and used the trial version of CS5 extended 30 days.

  trial has ended.

  I've now bought from adobe CS5 on disk (not extended) prefered version, I thought.

  ... is my question better to uninstall the trial first, before the installation of the drive.

  uncertain of the extended trial version and my box no extended version.

  If you use again the serial number is therefore to turn them off other program features in CS5 ex.

  interest my current CS4 extended works well complete with Open GL activated even if the trial of CS5 would not work with open GL, is a usual problem.

  In fact, everything you need to do is you enter s/n with the trial version and you're good to go.  There is no difference in the trial and the real version.

  Whether it be extenced or no extended version is determined by the number if I understand correctly.

  CS5 has a little more power than CS4 so may take slightly more resources.  Are 64-bit versions?

  If open GL does not work it is a video card driver problem that is something that can usually be corrected with an update.

  Hello.  I posted my original problem last night under a different thread.  Now, I have

  The event viewer displays this error MS Installer:

  Product: Adobe - Error 1402 Setup program.  Could not open key.  UNKNOWN\components\DA42B...  System 5 error.  Check that you have sufficient access to that key or contact your support team.

  Here's a little history: Rec had a DVD from Adobe, ran as administrator and messages "implemented has encountered an error and cannot continue.  System is Vista 64 bit, 8 GB RAM, 1 HD t with plenty of space, Nividia 9500 video card.  Previously deleted failed CS4 trial download, ran CS3 and CS4 uninstalled, clean registry, etc. defragmented.

It will work if I extracted the ISO on Daemon Tools on a computer with a disk drive, put the ISO on a USB hard drive and mount installation on my laptop using my product key for auhentic?

  Why would they care? You can download the same software from the Adobe (demo version) website, which can be activated at any time with a valid serial number. There is nothing magical about plastic disks. It is only a means of delivery.
