  Why don't you use a checkbox instead of a button, take a look @ the demo page next,

  1) Create a list of values under shared components
      It should have a single entry, for the display value leave a space, return value is 1.
  
  2) now add a checkbox to your page and select the LOV as the list of values you created.
      display extra values property should be set to No for the check box.
  
  3) now add a standard dynamic action to your check box
      condition should be "equal to" - 1
      True action should be "show"
      selection type should be "item" and select the text area.
  

  That's all. now the text box is hidden when you uncheck the box and displayed when you check the box.

• The maddening (but still fake) buttons actions

  Hi there-

  The interface of my project has 10 buttons. For each button: click on the button, shows the hidden group. Group contains bkgd form, text block, text link "check it out", which climbs to another slide, text link "Not now" that hides the group to display back to the base interface.

  

  By clicking on a button displays its target group. By clicking on the link 'not now' refers to the base for the first action interface. If I then click a second button, hidden group shows as it should to may. - 1.2 seconds, and then passes to the second slide in the project.

  Back to the blade of departure seems to 'reset' of the issue: I can click a button to see the hidden display group, click "not now" to hide, and then click another button to repeat the hidden group flash / jump to the second slide.

  Same thing if I click a button, then click the button another without using the action 'not now' to clear the group, which is not surprising. The first hidden group remains visible, the second appears in the display, then the project moves to the second slide. I have an action assigned to each link 'not now' which includes the masking of the corresponding group and then take a break. I have not yet addressed the question where the user would just click on button after button (which I think would be common behavior and must be addressed, too).

  Clearly, Miss something which forces the slide to pause and reset. I have an onEnter action attached to the interface that resets the interface by hiding all the groups, taking into.

  

  I tried several different ways to try to fix the problem of chronology of slides, but it seems no matter what I do: I tried a specific time for objects (3 seconds that the slide is 3 seconds in all), defining the groups to perform for the rest of the slide, adding a break after 3 seconds, adding a break after various shorter durations etc.

  If you use a standard action (oneliner), and all the buttons have a break at this very moment, playhead will remain on the frame just before the point of suspension, which allows the user to click on the buttons as many times as he wants.

• A database on a button Action replaces the values of DML?

  I would like to know if a database a button Action (update/SQL Insert / SQL SQL Delete) overrides the Insert/Update/Delete valid DML query values? My application button is "GENERATE", and of course, it is not in valid update request values. It is not an SQL UPDATE Action, even if the update does not occur because the form is reloaded without modification.

  Greetings,

  I really don't look at with sufficient attention. The update was going on along, I had just forgotten to reset a flag on my page, which is to screw on the session state. Thus, regardless of the request of a button, if you specify an Action of database on this subject, it replaces the rule valid values for request of DML. It's good to know.

  I was wondering if someone could help me. I really really need help. It's the only thing holding my project and I had to restore yesterday.
  
  I have a button movie clip with a dynamic text inside field. I am loading dynamically to the scene, while a video is running in the background. I also have a button fullscreen (Flash component) on the stage. After clicking on the button full screen and mode Full_Screen static buttons, including the button fullscreen work without problem, but the dynamic button seems to not work at all. Basically, the button dynamic when you click it should change his message to "you clicked the button 1. This works in normal mode, but not in full screen.
  
  I tried btn_cuePt_1.enabled = true; but without success.
  It has something to do with not to use the events of full-screen?

  The solution was so simple. I didn't have to completely redo, but I replaced the button full screen and everything is good now.

  I wanted to call a java script button action. I created a button associated with a request. The button action should redirect to an existing page. I did the hidden button. I would like to call a java script function button. Can someone point me to a thread with the syntax which handles this.

  In a javascript function, you can set the property from 'rental' of the window object to point to the APEX page as in the example below. How you call this function from the Applet javascript I don't know.

  Try this:
  1 put a class on the checkbox example
  apex_item. CheckBox (p_idx-online 1, p_value => NOM_PAPEL, p_attributes => "class ="mycbclass"onChange = hideRevoke ();', p_checked_values-'UNCHECKED' online")

  2. create a dynamic action:
  Event: change
  Type of selector: jQuery Selector
  JQuery selector: input.mycbclass
  Condition: Expression JavaScript
  Value: $('input.mycbclass:checked').length > 0

  Action: hide
  Create opposite: checked
  Selection type: Elements (s)
  Article (s): click on your button

  Maybe I should point out that if you use a model button then you will need to ensure that the model has a button id so that the dynamic action allows to identify the button.

  I'm trying to edit a field in a form based on a selection list editing in the same form.  I want to do this without submitting the page.  I was able to do this through dynamic action and change/DOM object, the DOM being the selection list.  I want to change the text in the text box works properly in this respect, without submitting the page.

  However, I can't get the selection list to actually change the value that I select.  No matter if I use a dynamic action to send the page (a second 'REAL' statement after the declaration of 'change the text box'), or select "Submit Page" under "Page Action time modified value" in the properties of the item itself.  The selection list does not change with the new value that I select.  Is this a bug in 4.2?  I can't think of an instance where I would not value, I select to submit when I use the selection list.  Any help out there?  Thank you.

  Hi Neil,

  If I'm not mistaken the submission procedure expects a request, because it is conditional. Usually it is the name of the button that triggers the procedure - my guess is that it's something like 'SAVE' or 'SUBMIT '.

  Add the condition to your javascript to send: doSubmit ('SAVE'). If that works, it would be nicer create an extra submit procedure, conditional to another State of the button, say "CHANGE" or "JS" and use which, like asking for your doSubmit.

  A completely different approach: Alternatively, you can try to make your process of chagen and present with AJAX: AJAX using your Application
