Dynamic text: gradually change the size of font that you type

Always present in my project. I need help with that.

I have a dynamic txt connected to a keyboard on the screen, and I need the police to shrink in size according to the number of characters that you enter.

Looks like it could be a simple algorithm, but I have no idea where to start.

any help?

If you use a keyboard on the screen, I'm not sure that a listener CHANGES will work if it involves adding text to the textfield with code... but kGlad know better on this subject.  If she does not have a code, code adds text can have the task of checking the length right after each character is added.

To check the number of characters in the textfield by its length property, essentially use something similar...

numCharacters = yourTextfield.length;

I tried the only control font size and type everything by allowing users to retain the flexibility to use color, bold, underline, etc. to highlight certain information when he text above. Plain text allows it. So far, everything I've read, is not possible because Livecycle is not able to control the attribute of Rich Text of the word imported into a Rich text box in Livecycle.

  • Change the sizes of fonts and colors without CSS [was: such a n00b]

I can't believe I have to ask this question, but I want to change the font sizes, styles of fonts and colors in fashion Design CS5 (recently updated), but using HTML tags, not CSS.  If I use the properties panel in HTML only appear bold and italic, options where are other options gone?

I found alignment on the Format menu, but every time I use this menu to change the font style that seems to get forced to CSS, and for the life of me, I can't find how to change the font size without having to edit the HTML code in code view, which I don't.

Can such a n00b, anyone help please?

It is not uncommon, and talking about who I think that more people should use the Adobe - feature request/Bug Report Form and request a feature to turn on an entire document inline styles, because it is common to do for HTML emails like Great Outlook thing and is more picky and problematic email client It is a bit like IE, although IE is trying to move forward.

In the Properties window, click then target CSS rule and choose the inline Style.  Then, Dreamweaver will apply an inline style for the element.  It will always write the CSS code, which is the right way, but it will write it inline, which is the case when you can not link to external CSS files.

  • How can I change the colors of fonts that I add to my movies?

    Hi all

I have a simple question. I have a loot of VHS tapes I've had since Adam was a boy. I've been working my way through them and their conversion into DVD. This is probably very different from what most people use the software for. I've been using iMovie HD until it was more compatible, then Final Cut Express.

Did not go for a while and decided that I should start using Final Cut Pro. After a few days of fiddling, I'm at the stage where I'm ready to try to make a film I did before (do not take risk). The only thing I can't work on is to know how to change the color of all fonts that I use. So far, all I can use is the color that comes with the model. I want to change because I use my own back grounds. A white font on a light background is a bit difficult to read.

It was not hard to get that I did. One of the most polite things said about it was when Apple released it it should have been called iMovie HD Pro. I do not disagree with that.

That's people, thanks for any help you can give. If there are textbooks that would be useful any suggestion would be appreciated.

    See you soon,.

What I forgot last time. Do I have reason to assume that chapter markers are deferred to iDVD when the project is completed.

  • Change the size of the text only does not work

Font size standard on most of the Windows I have open in Windows 8 is a 5 or 6. I'm in front of my computer, 6 to 8 hours per day (teacher online), and it's the single most annoying problem that I have ever met.  "Change the size of the text only ' on my display settings page is grey - there is no solution.  Can I change the size of everything, that gives me giant icons, but the text on all the windows is still tiny.

I hope someone has a useful suggestion. Please don't tell me to go to "Change the size of text only." This is the function that does not work.
My Windows 8 was purchased in January - part of the Microsoft $! 5 offer to people who bought computers between October and December of last year. The installation went fairly well, but I had this problem of fonts since then.  ASUS computer laptop, Intel core I7, good resolution, good speed, ideal machine, except that Windows has me squint all that day, seven days a week.
Thank you and best regards, all

    Hi Reggie

The option "Change only the size of the text" applies only to the text for the following items.

    Title bars

    Menus

    Message boxes

    Titles of palette

    Text of the icon

    ToolTips

What you need to do is select the link "Custom resizing options" directly above the option "Change only the text size.

In the dialog box move the cursor in the rule box, hold down the left button of the mouse and drag the rule. If the size is 100%, try to start with it to 125%.

Click OK, and then apply. You will be asked to disconnect / connect to before the change takes effect.

If 125% does not for you try to bump the size up one another 10% gradually until you are satisfied.

Let us know if it works for you.

  • PDF fillable where the customer can add text AND change the fonts?

    Hello

I would like to be able to provide my clients with editable poster templates. I created in InDesign posters, with a large white space in the middle where they can add their own texts, and when they're done, they can send them to the printer. The problem is, I just want to give them - in PDF print quality, so they don't mess up my share of the design (in addition, they are not sufficiently advanced to use indesign or illustrator or something like that).

I tried implementing a PDF file using a text field, but it won't work. When the customer type in the text field, they will not be able to change the size of font, color, weight, etc.

Is there some sort of 3rd party plugin that will allow me to create PDF files to fill live where the customer can indeed choose their fonts & things when they fill in their info?

    Thank you!

Bernd: rich text only allows to apply bold, italic, exposing. It does not allow the user to make the text larger or to change the font.

When I type ctrl-e in the area I can change the font and the font size.

  • Change the size of the label

I am posting Photosop on a 40 inch monitor. How can I change the size of all the tools and labels?

You cannot change the size of icons, but you can change the size of some of the fonts in the user interface.

    Preferences > User Interface...

Set the font size of the UI to "Large" and restart the application.

  • Possible to expand the spaces by changing the size of the page?

Greetings.  I use Acrobat 10 pro now, but in 9, it was possible to expand the white space around the text by changing the size of the page under the command crop.  It was very convenient to create a large enough area for the comments text box.  I can't find this capability in 10.  I'm, hopefully, wrong?

Select: Tools > Pages > culture

and then double-click the page. You will then get the Crop dialog box and you can select a superior page size field of the change Page size.

Ah, good so the police don't have to change the size on request?
You want to just increase the size of the font of a form or a report?

If you just want to increase the font size of everything, you can add this to your Page header...

If you just want to change the font size of something in particular, you will need to get the CSS it refers to (use Firebug in Firefox).

For example, to replace certain headers and data in the model 15...

  • Dynamic action to change the point label

    Hi all

How can I use dynamic action to change the point label?

    Thank you.

    Hello

I don't think that there is a solution out-of-the-box for it. However, it seems that the Apex 4 correct uses of the elements of the label HTML for labels. So you can use a jQuery selector that is simple to get and manipulate the tag of an element.

    Something like this:

    $('label[for="P1_CUSTOMER_NAME"]').html ("new label");

Note that there is sometimes a scope nested within the tag tag.

You can use a type of dynamic action "run the javascript" to do.
