Dynamically add the instance of a class

Im trying to dynamically add instances of a class. I need to do it in a loop. How would I go to do something of this nature?

Basically...

for (var i: uint = 0; i

var newInstance:YourClassName = new YourClassName();

addChild (newInstance);

}

  • [JS, CS4] TextFrame.extractLabel () does not work with the instances of this class

    I have the script, which works very well in CS3. In CS4 (app.version = 6.0.1.532) However, I get an error using extractLabel, after reading a few other a textframe properties:

    frameObject.extractLabel ('name')
    Error: TextFrame.extractLabel () does not work with the instances of this class

    Until the reading of one of the 'normal' properties, such as (frameObject.) content I can call frameObject.extractLabel ('name') without errors, but after "watching" (assign it to a variable in the code, or by getting the value in the javascript console), the content property (or as it seems any normal property) the extractLabel method generates the above error.

    It seems to work to move all frameObject.extractLabel at the beginning of the function calls, but I don't think that I would need to do this.

    It could very well be the case that the label read by extractLabel has no content and never received. Will there be a change in behaviour of CS3 in this sentence? If so, and if this is the reason for the error, is there then a way to determine if the label has been assigned?

    This error is familiar to someone else?

    It works if you use:

    var pgItm = app.activeDocument.textFrames.itemByID(parseInt(myId));

    Otherwise, this might work:

    var pgItm = app.activeDocument.pageItems.itemByID(parseInt(myId)).getElements()[0];

    Although, generally, itemByID gives you the question no matter what it is as long as there are, so I'm bit puzzled that neither of them will be necessary.

  • Cannot add the instance ID

    I'm working on a flash AS2 file that contains drop-down list boxes.

    When I start the program I can right click on a button and add instance code it is to say the current selection is the button.

    After working on the file for a while, I can't do that.

    When I right click on the new buttons and objects and select actions the current selection shows as a frame not the
    object I want to add code too.

    It's very frustrating because I can not add the instance code.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Alfred

    I think the problem was the button pin of current script. Some how I clicked on it and little matter I have a click right on it should always be the last script that I used before I hit the button.

    Thanks for your quick response.

  • Dynamically add the instanceManager text value to instanceManager another

    Hello

    I have a dynamic form that has two subforms with instanceManagers. One is called options, and another description. Subform 'options' has a button that adds an instance both "_options" and «_description» InstanceManagers

    I click the button twice so I have three instances of each. Each instance of "_options" has a field OPTION, and each instance of '_description' has a DESCRIPTION field. I want to write code that will automatically set the text value of the OPTION to the value of the DESCRIPTION text.

    example:

    -options

    -OPTION (input field)

    -descriptions

    -DESCRIPTION

    Click

    Click

    -options

    -OPTION (1)(input field)

    -OPTION (2)(input field)

    -OPTION (3)(input field)

    -description

    -Description (1)(input field)

    -DESCRIPTION (2) (field)

    -DESCRIPTION (3) (field)

    fill option fields

    -options

    -OPTION (1)(rawValue: the soup is good)

    -OPTION (2)(rawValue: soup really sux)

    -OPTION (3)(rawValue: soup is ok)

    and here's my problem - how do I get these values for the other instanceManager? I have a code that does not work, but I don't want to offer something. Please, help me, I am struggling with this instance of reference bs for awhile

    You must use xfa.resolveNode to analyze the number of index levels.

    I just did a quick test with a few tables on the output of a field event in Table1, I put a corresponding field in Table2 to the same value. Works the same with subforms.

    xfa.resolveNode ("Table2.Row1 [" + this.parent.index + "]"). TextField1.rawValue = this.rawValue;

    Depending on how many levels deep into the repeating subform your domain is that you will need to play with the 'this.parent.index' to get the path to the repeating subform (this.parent.parent.index, etc.).

  • Could not add the instance of a hidden subform

    I use Adobe Designer 10 and have used the Action feature to set up my buttons.

    Here's the problem:

    The user is presented with a question:

    You eat apples? Yes/No.

    If the user selects the 'Yes' box, then the subform, 'WhatKindofApples', is set to Visible and appears.

    If the user eat more than one kind of apple, the user must be able to add additional instances of 'WhatKindofApples' by clicking on the button 'add additional apples '.

    If the subform, 'WhatKindofApples', is set to Visible the button 'Add additional apples' works very well.

    If the subform is set to Hidden, then the Add button does not work.

    So, it seems that there is some kind of conflict between being able to add additional instances of subforms hidden once they become visible. I have included my form Javascript code.

    Here is the Javascript code for the Add button:

    Form1. WhatKindofApples.AddAddlApples::click - (JavaScript, client)

    + PRODUCT - CHANGE (ID:0482B39E - E8D0-4F08-B 313-E142D733EE1F CRC:2782582760)

    + Type: Action

    + Result1: AddInstance ("$Node2")

    + Node2: form1 [0]. WhatKindofApples [0]

    + Node1: form1 WhatKindofApples [0] [0]. AddAddlApples [0]

    + Condition1: Button ("$Node1", "click")

    + ActionName: AddlEntityPrivate.click

    this.resolveNode('form1._WhatKindofApples').addInstance (1);

    If (xfa.host.version < 8) {}

    XFA. Form.Recalculate (1);

    }

    //-

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello

    I suspect that the addInstance() is trying to work. Keep in mind that the addInstance() will create a new instance of the object that is repeated in its original state. So if the extensible object has hidden, then if new instances are created they will be also hidden.

    A work around would be to establish the presence of the subform to visible in design mode (object > field palette). Then, in the object > range of binding the value the number Min 0. This means that when the form is rendered, the subform will not appear. Finally, the script in the click event of the button would add an instance, rather than make it visible.

    Hope that helps,

  • Add the instance before existing instance

    Hi all

    is it possible to add a new instance of a subform to show in a top of the existing subform? the way it works now when you add a click on the button to add a subform, the new subform appears under the exisitng subform and so on, each time that I add a subform there goes down. I want the opposite to happen where new subforms, always appear at the top of the old subforms.

    It depends on where you want the subform actually go.

    Suppose that you have a button inside a subform and you still want the new subform to go on top of the entire stack of subforms:

    this.parent.instanceManager.insertInstance(0);

    If you want to add it right above some instance that you are working on, and then copy the following code will work:

    this.parent.instanceManager.insertInstance(this.parent.index);

    Note: You must add or remove reference points depending on what you use to raise the event, of course.

  • Add the Instance

    Also I need more two buttons

    1 will add line and copy the contents of the top line

  • Add the merge fields in the url

    We would like to dynamically add the id to contact SFDC email recipient (which is an existing merge Eloqua field) in the query string of a url in an e-mail message to follow the results of the survey through zoomerang. (for example www.zoomerang.com/survey/aa3w4roafadfos?contactid=#sfdccontactid# where sfdccontactid is the merged field.

    If anyone has experience doing this, please tell us where we try to send this email shortly.

    Thank you

    Joel

    Hi Joel,

    Merger of field, you can generate the HTML code required for the merger of field uttering one in your email and then merge in the email your work with.  Discover the grab HTML HTML field merging and post it in your URL.  Commonly, the syntax would be 'SFDC_ContactID1' or something of the sort (this is depends on the merge field name). In your particular case, the finished HTML code would look like, "SFDC_ContactID1">."

  • How to dynamically add data in a Spark list control

    Hi, I have a spark list in one of my custom components() control(id="Cclist") and a text input control. When a value is entered in the entry of the texts, I want to dynamically add the same in the list control. I tried to do the following:

    protected function Cc_selectHandler(event:CustomEvent):void

    {

     var cctext:DisplayObject = event.data as DisplayObject
    CcList.enabled = true;
    CcListButton.enabled = true;

    CcList.addChild(cctext);

    }

    But I get an error saying "addChild() is not available in this category.  "Instead, use addElement(), or change the skin. So I tried to use addElement, but apparently it is not available at all. No idea what im doing wrong?

    Add the text entered in the textinput to the dataProvider of the list in the appropriate format.

    A simple example:

  • Delete the instance of DMZ

    Hi, I made a mistake when adding an instance of the demilitarized zone on Beehive application tier server and all web services now do not work (zimbra, bcentral, etc.). I would like to delete this instance of the dmz, but I run in trouble with the following command:
    delete_dmz_home_instance - id servername.domain.com

    I get the following error:
    Object System (id = 467..., type = oracle.ocs.management.model.Server) cannot be converted to type oracle.ocs.management.model.UnmangedBeehiveInstance.

    So I think that the - id option that I use is not valid. How can I determine the instance id of the demilitarized zone that should be used when you remove it using this command? There is nothing in the documentation that I could find which indicated how can I get this code.

    Thank you.

    What went wrong in the addition of the DMZ instance? There was an error when adding, it, or is - it just the post-config which had problems? You remove to add it again, or simply not want you that it all?

    What is the behavior that you see with the customers, exactly? Note that you will access clients via the DMZ instance, after installation of the DMZ and virtual server names will want to match this name of instance of DMZ (or virt name that you have linked to it). Which may require an update VIRTUAL server ServerName property.

    The ID is the ID of the component of the instance of DMZ, which resemble 12345678-9abc-Catherine-hijk-lmnopqrs and is using "beectl list_components", subject installation of DMZ was enough success to add the instance of DMZ for the configuration:

    beectl list_components - type UnmanagedBeehiveInstance

    Note that you should be able to remove the DMZ instance using the configWizard of the hive, too.

    Thanks for the pointer wrt the docs, we'll make sure that it is updated.

    When I give my jar to java legend project reference it doen't find external libraries.

    Could you please tell me how to add external libraries in the class path folder or use to add it via web logic Server?

    Thank you

    Pavan

    Hello

    Thanks, I solved a problem.

    We can add the following in windows pc path:

    C:\Users\your_usename\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system12.1.3.0.41.140521.1008\DefaultDomain\lib

    We add your external lib here and restart the weblogic server instance.

    Now you have this external lib or jar in use.

  • Two quick questions (hopefully) - right way to dynamically change the CSS class and put of Splash screen implemented

    Couple of quick questions have left me speechless!

    So, it seems obvious that many JavaFX applications want to dynamically change the CSS styles.  Is the best way to do it through la.getStyleClass () .add ("classname") < node >?  The underlying data structure is a list of observable.  So let's say we have 5 styles that simply to change the fill color of a circle of 5 different colors, respectively.  So if I have a condition in which I want to dynamically apply 1 of these 5 styles, as I do now it's by setting all 5 styles as a string in a list by using a static initializer, then I call < node > .getStyleClass () .removeAll (list), then getStyleClass () .add ("classname").  I do this to avoid adding again and still the same style and inflate the underlying list.  What is the right way to manage dynamic CSS styles?

    Finally a very simple I think.  So I know there's a little differently to implement a splash screen.  My app has certainly got bigger in the last few months of development and I noticed there are about a 5 second delay between when I run the application when I see the main stage.  I was thinking what a splash screen would be nice to fill that time.  I had no time to prototype using a Preloader and I fear that using another, early stage start-up again would be too long of a delay.  "I actually thought that using the Nice and simple JVM argument" - splash: image name > "would be simple, easy and effective.  Unfortunately when I try to do, the splash screen appears but never goes away.  Anyone know what is happening with this?

    Your mechanism to manage the css style classes is a good approach; I've used several times. I wonder why the style classes have been implemented as a list, instead of a game, but there may be cases of good use for the use of a list.

    In some cases you can also consider using CSS PsuedoClasses, which were presented in JavaFX 8. Here is a little easier to use, especially if you have two options. But a use case might look like:

    public class Message {
        public enum Status { NORMAL, WARNING, CRITICAL }

        private final ObjectProperty status = new SimpleObjectProperty<>(Status.NORMAL);
        private final StringProperty message = new SimpleStringProperty();

        // constructor, getters, setters, and property accessors....
    }

    public Label createLabel(Message message) {
        PseudoClass warning = PseudoClass.getPseudoClass("warning");
        PseudoClass critical = PseudoClass.getPseudoClass("critical");

        Label label = new Label();
        label.textProperty().bind(message.messageProperty());
        message.statusProperty().addListener((obs, oldStatus, newStatus) -> {
            label.pseudoClassStateChanged(warning, newStatus == Message.Status.WARNING);
            label.pseudoClassStateChanged(critical, newStatus == Message.Status.CRITICAL);
        }
        return label ;
    }

    And then your css looks like

    .label:warning {
        -fx-text-fill: orange ;
    }
    .label:critical {
        -fx-text-fill: red ;
    }

  • Adding the instances dynamically fail on FormServer

    Dear all,

    I am facing a problem when adding a subform instances dynamically by solving an XML hierarchy is different from that of hierarchy PDF.

    Question: Instances of a subform added fails in FormServer (working on the local machine) when you try to resolve XML which is different from

    Hierarchy of nodes PDF.

    Adobe Reader Version : 9.0

    Adobe LiveCycle Designer : 7.0

    The code written to : initialization of the Parent of the subform that must be repeated.

    Script used is:

    var FundDataArrayNode = "xfa.record.FundDataArray";

    If (xfa.resolveNode (FundDataArrayNode)! = null)

    {

    for (i = 0; I < 10; i ++)

    {

    Add subform instances 'x '.

    }

    }

    XML contains the following data:

    " < WIP xmlns:ns0 = ' http://schemas.ml.com/CCP/standards/common/WIP_v2_0/ ">

    < FundDataArray >

    < / FundDataArray >

    < / work in PROGRESS >

    I am trying to solve for the node of "FundDataArray" and if it is available I am trying to add 10 instances using the 'for' loop It works fine on the Local computer, but not on the form server.

    If I can't solve for the node and add instances by using simple loop 'for', it works fine on the local computer, as well as on server.

    As I am not able to join PDF, let me know which mail ID I can send the PDF and XML.

    Please advice.

    Try like this...

    Use JavaScript as a language of...

    If (xfa.resolveNode ("$record. FundDataArray') .value! = null)

    {

    for (i = 0; I<>

    {

    Add subform instances 'x '.

    }

    }

    Thank you
