Each application is blocked on the splash screen?

Hello world!

I'm having a little difficulty testing my application on the Simulator. I can deploy apps on the Simulator successfully (which was great to see, inner happiness when it happened!). However every app I have deploy, even the default HelloWorld application, gets stuck on the startup screen when I click to open it. He remains on the splash screen and then finally closes the application.

Is this a common problem? I searched around, and nobody else seems to have the same problems?

Any help would be appreciated!

Patrick

I solved my problem after some debugging time! It seems that there is something wrong with the version of the SDK that I had installed, I completely uninstalled the version I had and then installed the latest version from the BlackBerry site. Problem solved now and I have my application running on the test device.

A workaround solution is given for people running Flash Builder, where you explicitly give the Debug IP address host instead

    Hi team,

Would you be so kind and help me with this problem?

When deploying to the example android Tablet project simply do not work. All I see is start, followed by white background screen and we filled a black rectangle at the top left. I tried HelloWorld, RESTDemo and bar code application examples.

When you try to deploy to the emulator everything I get is the splash screen, nothing more.

  • SignalExpress closes immediately after the splash screen

I'm having a problem with the Software NI SignalExpress where the application fails to open completely - it closes immediately after the splash screen. I am using windows XP Pro. SP3.

I tried to uninstall, registry errors compensation and reinstall, I also tried the repair installation - or who work.

A test of SignalExpress installation was installed on my PC until I got a full copy with the purchase of a data acquisition (usb-6218).

    Hi André,.

Sounds a bit nasty. If repairing and reassembling and all this malarky does not recommend the use of msiblast to clean your computer of all the software of NOR and starting again with a new install. When you software uninnstall he didn't get rid of everything, there is still hidden folders around dootted.

    I joined msiblast.exe.

    -Run msiblast

-Make sure the radio button "Show OR installers only" is selected.

-Select all and then click on uninstall.

    When this is complete, your computer will be NOT free. After that;

-Install all software from OR you for example LabVIEW Signal express

-Then install the drivers. The USB-6218 case uses the DAQmx driver that the latest version can be downloaded from this link.

If it persists then write again.

  • Windows XP hangs at the splash screen (logo). Dim screen when hooked.

I do have problems starting XP 2 on two different hard drives.  I'm more concerned at this time is described in the title.  I bought a new hard drive (Western Digital Caviar Blue WD3200AAKS 320) to back up the data on my old hard drive, due to the other XP startup problem and installed Windows XP Home edition, as well as my motherboard drivers, etc..  It starts very well, at first, but then started a curtain to the start screen (and the splash screen is very low in this case).  I tried to remove some additional applications provided with the motherboard, no luck.  I tried to reinstall XP several times, and who has not helped.  I tried to update my video driver, running chkdsk, running Windows Memory Diagnostic (which does no problem), cleaning the registry with Advanced System Care Pro, unplug all USB devices and network cable, etc.  He continues to hang at the splash screen (weakly).  When I try to start in safe mode, it hangs at "mup.sys.  So far, I'm able to get XP to start by repeated restart later...  I searched the web to find a solution for this and have found no definitive answer.  I just ordered another new hard drive and Windows 7.  I intend to dual boot with windows 7 the new HD and XP on the current disc (assuming that this problem can be solved!).

My other problem is on my old sister Hitachi 160 GB IDE hard drive.  A few months, our PC stop working.  After buying a new power supply (Corsair TX650w) and determine that he was not a power supply problem, I bought a new motherboard (GA-MA785GT-UD3H), (AMD Phenom II X 2 555 3.2 Ghz) CPU, RAM (CORSAIR XMS3 DHX 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) 240 - Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333), and some new fans (old system died due to heat issues).  Once I had it put in place and I tried to boot XP from my old drive, he just went in a "boot loop".  He gets to the XP splash screen, goes black and restarts, again and again.  I tried setting the installation of XP with XP CD 3 or 4 times, without success.  This question is not as big of a deal to me now, because I now have the new hard drive with the new number to start XP (intermittent).  My main goal with the old hard drive was to save all my data.  That is, life turns on if I can't start XP on this drive (the one with the boot loop).

    Thank you for your time!

The BIOS update has * seems * solved the problem!  I rebooted it 4 or 5 times, but also completely off the PC and it starts today.  Did not repeat the problem so far!

  • Remove the splash screen

    Hello

I'm developing an application, because I don't want the start screen. I have remove the splash screen in the bar discripter file. When running the application, it displays the blank screen before entry in the foreground app. How to remove the white screen.

Is it possible to run the app with splash screen and blank screen?.

This is not possible, that the application takes a bit of time to initialize.

    You can check

Since by default the start screen is displayed for about a fraction of a second.

I assumed that you do not want the default splash screen to display for longer... it wouldn't be much of that.

If you have a custom splash screen and wants to appear again, just have your application display a copy of it that the only thing onscreen for the first few seconds, before switching to your main view. The search can show you that there areother threads that have covered the thi

  • Is it possible to get rid of the splash screen, the screen of the app and go straight to the desktop?

    Original title: I h8 windows 8.

I don't like having to go through two screens to start my computer and two screens to close.  Add the startup of the screen and the screen of the application tiles does improve performance, they interfere. I don't see what's the difference between have icons on my page tiles and the application windows on my screen, except that the former is more efficient.

Is it possible to get rid of the splash screen, the screen of the app and go straight to the desktop?

Easy solution for this. You can download the Start button after the installation your computer will work like all the other previous windows and ordinarysoft.com. You will have all the programs with your button/start menu 'start '. The installation start opt to escape metro and you never see it again. Tell me if you have any problem to find the button start or downloading from the link I told you. Its free of cost.

  • Shortcut to open a program in a new window in the splash screen?

I find it rather annoying that windows 8 refuses to open a new instance of a desktop app when I click again in the start screen.   If I for example several 'guests order', I have to go to start, right click on command prompt, click Open in a new window.   It's quite embarrassing.   I don't see that there is an option to remove this restriction.  It may be wise for the Metro style applications open 1 single instance, but it is not appropriate to impose this restriction on desktop applications.

Can someone give me a registry hack or an option of control panel to fix this annoyance in the splash screen?
For now, I added programs like a toolbar that is separate in the taskbar of office, so that I can open multiple instances without using the start screen.  For every reading, you can do so by right-clicking the taskbar, uncheck the lock all bars of tasks, do a right click again and click on toolbars-> new toolbar and drag on new program shortcuts.

    Hello

When you open an office application, an icon for this app will appear on the desktop taskbar.

Click on icon and select application name, near the bottom and this will open a new instance of the application.

  • Upgrade to Indesign CC 2015.5 - does not open and hangs on the splash screen

I upgraded to CC 2015.5 2015.  After you have installed indesign, it allowed me to open the program once.  After closing the program, any attempt to reopen causes an error pop up during the splash screen that says "Adobe InDesign CC 2015 has stopped working" and leaves the program.  I uninstalled / reinstalled two times with the same results.  Other 2015,5 improvements seem to be fine, only the Indesign program is having issues.  Any advice would be much appreciated on how to fix or revert to the previous version that worked.

    Hi all

We are aware of the problem where InDesign crashes on launch while working with library files stored on a network location.

We are working on resolving the issue and for the moment, please try the solution that we have identified.

To work around the problem, please follow the steps below:

Clear the Cache InDesign either by renaming the Cache folder or deleting it altogether. (It is best to rename the folder)

The location of the cache folder: -.

    Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Settings\Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\------\Caches\

    Windows 7 or 10: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\InDesign\-\Caches\

    Macintosh: Drive hard/users/InDesign/Library/Caches/Adobe///.

In addition, if your workflow requires you to work with the (different) library placed on the network, please make sure you close the library panel before leaving InDesign.

  • Crashes after the splash screen

Yesterday, my application was working fine. I finally decided to play with the help of my own fonts and eventually make them work properly. But right after my app just started crashing everytime I open it. I get the splash screen, and then boom, it's down.

I tried to delete the font files and reloading the app, still does not.

I tried to create a new app and loading that. Same thing.

Any thoughts? I am more than a person of design building without knowing too much techniques/code. Above all, I'm supposed to finally to show to my superiors today to see if we can budget it in our publication.

    Help, please.

It looks like one of the values of the metadata of the map has been modified in a format not supported, which caused the accident. Update the content should solve the problem and remove that changed value.

  • Adobe Illustrator CC hangs on the splash screen

    Hello

I couldn't find a similar thread with similar solutions, then we are, about 2 months ago, my Adobe Illustrator CC stopped opening. It starts up and displays the splash screen but then stops everything in "Reading Fonts" (see image below)

I had not changed anything or downloaded everything I know and I thought it would start working again, but alas.

    I have a MacBook Pro (15 inch, late 2011) race Yosemite 10.10.1

Things I've tried so far the problem:
    Uninstalled / reinstalled twice.

Restarted my computer a million times.

Cleared cache folders according to other suggestions from forums.

Reset the system fonts and remove all the fonts in the system (by font book, if there is another way to solve the question police please let me know)

Please help if you can, I'm at a total loss.

    Thank you.

It is stuck on the screen:

    Alice,

Point 1) and 11) less than 5 years) in the following list may be appropriate (I'm not sure if FontBook serves you well) and 6 complete), too.

The following is a general list of things, try when the question is not in a specific file, and when it is not caused by problems with opening a file from external media. You tried/made some of them already; 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

If possible / there is, you must record a current work first, of course.

    (1) close Illy and open again.

    (2) restart the computer (you can make up at least 5 times);

    (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

    4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you can find the file here:

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Illustrator/KB/preference-file-location-Illustrator.html

    5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

    Even worse, you can:

    (6) (check the box to delete the preferences), run the cleanup tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC) to uninstall and reinstall.
