  If I understand correctly, you have a PDF file created from a scanned document? You can use either ExportPDF to convert the file in Word (ExportPDF converts image text into editable text by default). Or, you can use Acrobat to save the PDF file to Word format. She will also, OCR to convert text image into editable text.

• Newbie question - import jpeg convert into objects

  I have a manuscript in pen and ink.  It uses two cartoon characters and contains drawings and text bubble.  I had analyzed and converted into a pdf file content.  It is then converted into JPEGs, one for each page.  I want to edit these files in Illustrator by creating objects from the images on the page.  I was not able to see how to do this.  First, is there a way to do this?  Second, if you could point me in the right direction, it would be really useful.

  The bitmap is a good vintage but only allow you to color of the object and only one color.

  I think the only real options are a function of trace, the pen tool or go to Vector Magic site let them do so through one or buy their software http://vectormagic.com/

  I think that cost like $8 for a trace.

  Yesterday, I was working on documents Pages and when I finished I registered progress and exit the app and turned off the computer.

  This morning trying to open one of the documents in Pages I noticed that she had changed in a folder with the name WayWithWordsProjects.pages.sb - a8d1944f-t20I1F.
  Inside this folder are two files; Data and metadata; and 4 files; Index.zip, overview - micro.jpg, preview - Web.jpg and preview.jpg. All three preview files show the first page of the document. I can decompress the file Index.zip and I get a number of files # .iwa and a folder.

  Pages under recent File: Open I can also see the file, but it shows that the Pages cannot open files of format of file.

  So... How do I convert the folder into a file and therefore not lose data in the file?

  There are two possible approaches to retrieve this document on OS x:

  1. WayWithWordsProjects.pages.sb - a8d1944f-t20I1F and rename it to WayWithWordsProject.pages and try to open with Pages.
  2. Create a new folder on your desktop named Test.pages. Substitute the challenge Finder by clicking on Add.
     1. Copy (option + do drag) all of the contents of the folder WayWithWordsProjects.pages.sb - a8d1944f-t20I1F in Test.pages on your desktop.
     2. Open Test.pages with Pages.

  This document published on iCloud by car, or on your OS X boot disk file system? Which specific version of OS X and Pages do you currently use?

  All my emails in Inbox disappeared from Thunderbird. I opened the subfolder "Inbox" under "Profile" (using WordPerfect to open) and I think that the missing e-mails are there. However, they are coded and I can't make any sense of them. Does anyone know how to convert them into readable text? I use Windows 7.
