    A way to avoid this error daily and a way to remove the already saved up to archive newspapers 1 time?

    Kind regards

    This is not an error but an informational message.  The error comes from RMAN or one of your scripts?

    Are there other RMAN - or ORA-errors in your log file?

    Check your backup optimization, which can be turned on in which case it will not backup the archivelog again.

    You can use one of the two commands to remove the archivelogs that have been backed up.

    backup archivelog all not backed up delete input;
    delete archivelog all backed up 1 times to device type sbt;

    The %U in the FORMAT provides a Unique name.  You can take the backup (weekly) L0 and the (daily) L1 in the same folder OR in different folders - Oracle is not meet all the requirements on the record.

  • Need help with RMAN archive destination error during hot backup

    Hello

    Oracle 8.0.6, Win 2000 Server.

    We take the cold daily backup as our backup strategy. We wanted to implement the backup hot. If one day, I turned on the log mode archive and set the directory to archive in F:\drive to store all archived generated. I took the backup and put the database in noarchive log mode. We continued with offline backup.

    After a few days, I wanted to test the hot backup again. I created the directory of the archive in E:\archive\ instead of F:\archive\. When I started the hot backup, all files have been copied except the archives.

    The error was:

    RMAN-03022: compilation command: sql

    Complete recovery manager.

    RMAN is looking for the destination of the journal archive old i.e. 'f:\archive\ '. I don't have the backup of the old archives of destination. I put the new destination to archive E:\archive\ in the initorcl.ora file, rman is always looking for destination F:\archive\.

    Please suggest what to do. How can I remove old information from archive of controlfile and say rman, look in the new archives destination i.e. E:\archive\

    Hello
    WOW 8.0.6.
    Maybe you can run a cross?

    change archivelog than any overlap;

    Update
    Found some docs online for 8.0
    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/A58617_01/server.804/a58396/TOC.htm
    She does not mention the overlap.
    With the change command, you should be able to do the cleaning as well.
    If you have moved the archivelogs to the new location, you can use catalog according to the doc.
    Kind regards

  • Problem with the archive log when you use RMAN for backup and restore (11g 2)

    Hello world
    Please help me solve this problem.
    I'm just beginner in Oracle Database (11 g 2). Today, I had a problem, I tried to back up and restore my db by RMAN. I delete all the files in /u01/app/oracle/oradata/orcl / * , then I restore them easily, but the point is I have a table, I can restore Hungarian, but cannot restore anything ranks in it (something wrong with step restore database). I'll tell the detail below.
    -First, I create a 'Day' with command table create table hr.day (varchar (20)) day. Then I backup complete by this:
    run{
    allocate channel bkp device type DISK FORMAT '/u01/backup/DB_FULL_%d_%T_s%s_p%p' ;
    backup as compressed backupset incremental level 0 tag 'DB_FULL' database include current controlfile;
    backup as compressed backupset tag 'ARCL_BKP_FULL' archivelog all delete input;
    crosscheck archivelog all;
    crosscheck backup;
    delete noprompt obsolete;
    release channel bkp;
    }

    D ' other hand, I have insert 'Monday' to table. then do an incremental backup by this:

    run{
    allocate channel bkp device type DISK FORMAT '/u01/backup/DB_INC_%d_%T_s%s_p%p' ;
    backup as compressed backupset incremental level 1 tag 'DB_INC' database include current controlfile;
    backup as compressed backupset tag 'ARCL_BKP_INC' archivelog all delete input;
    crosscheck archivelog all;
    crosscheck backup;
    delete noprompt obsolete;
    release channel bkp;
    }

    Repeat 7 times (Monday-> Saturday). And I got these files:

    [oracle@rac ~]$ ls -l /u01/backup/

    If i ignore it and open the database, just my table in full backup come back but rows was not restored. I'm sure the problem is my archive log backup but i don't know how to solve it. Plz help me.

    Sorry for a long post.

    > 1 and from the 1205841 SNA sequence

    The SCN that indicates Oracle is above the range of SNA that you have in the ArchiveLog backups for sequence 1 to 15 (15 sequence ends at 1205840).

    The message

    channel ORA_DISK_1: restoring archives Journal

    Archives journal thread = 1 sequence = 15

    channel ORA_DISK_1: backup/u01/backup/DB_INC_ORCL_20160120_s117_p1 piece reading

    channel ORA_DISK_1: piece handle = / u01/backup/DB_INC_ORCL_20160120_s117_p1 tag = ARCL_BKP_INC

    indicates that he has restored the sequence up to 15

    You can check the log file alert database instance for messages on the fact of recovery.

    He is now asking sequence #1 it seems you did a RESETLOGS after sequence #15.

    Note: If you have NOT issued a COMMIT after the line is INSERTED in the table 'Day', the recovery of the database will have no * transactions * to retrieve.  An uncomitted transaction is cancelled.

  • RMAN-00600: internal error saving

    RDBMS version 11.2.0.2.5 RHEL 5.6 RAC

    I configured a RMAN recovery catalog using virtual private catalog to the difference between environments.

    Backups are managed by different scripts stored in the catalog of recovery as follows.

    for example:
    RMAN> print global script level_1_backup;

    printing stored global script: level_1_backup
    {set command id to 'level_1_backup'; backup incremental level 1 database format '/backups/&1/rman/%d_LVL1_%U_%T' plus archivelog format '/backups/&1/rman/%d_LVL1_arch_%U_%T' delete input; }
    It works very well for a longer period of time, but the other day the backup started fail with:

    RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
    RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS ===============

    If I run the backup without connection to the recovery catalog there is no problem.
    In addition, the problem is solved by explicitly issuing a "catalogue of resynchronization; command, but after a few days, the problem is back.

    Someone at - it experinced something like that?

    Thank you.

    Hi, you can not use "backup list" command in block execution (run {}). You can only use it outside block 'run '.

  • RMAN-00600: internal error, arguments [8201]

    Hello
    We had 10g R2 on a win 2003 follwing error of RMAN backup server:
    RMAN-00600: internal error, arguments [8201] [] [] [] []
    We looked at metalink Note: 412786.1

    who says:
    There is mismatch between the information stored in the Controlfile and rman Catalog
    and have you RMAN > catalog resync; who has not solved the problem.

    We have created another RMAN schema which means a new catalog. It's so hard to believe
    the new catalog was not synchronized with the control file. But once again exactly the same error:
    [RMAN-00600: internal error, arguments [8201] [] [] []]

    Why once again the same mistake with a new catalog?

    Thank you.

    In the same note, there is a listed alternative (try it if it is possible in your case).

    If after the resynchronization of the problem still exists, then recreate the controlfile to the target database.

  • Time Machine Sparsebundle NAS based Backup-error

    Like many times before, I This Time Machine Sparsebundle NAS based backup errors trying to force me to remove all my backups before creating a new - and I turn down this time.

    I found this article http://www.garth.org/archives/2011, ased 08,27,169,fix-time-machine-sparsebundle-nas-b-backup - errors.html which seems to be great, but already at the beginning that the commands do not work for me any more:

    MacBookPro: ~ root # chflags nouchg /Volumes/Data/MacBookPro.sparsebundle r

    MacBookPro: ~ root # hdiutil attach nomount - noverify - noautofsck - /Data/MacBookPro.sparsebundle

    hdiutil: attach failed - no such file or directory

    The path to the sparsebundle is TimeCapsule/Data/MacBookPro.sparsebundle.

    I have no idea of this Terminal stuff, so I am at a loss.

    For further help, thank you very much!

    upgraded to 3.6, bookmarks, lost, lost the toolbar bookmarks, bookmarks library, lost cannot go to the previous backup, error message. Not have Torbutton. Cannot save new bookmarks. AutoFill remembers. Don't forget the story is about.

    I got this yesterday after the 3.6.4 problem upgrade. I'm not sure if I saw all the things you did, but I have def lost all bookmarks and the back button. I fixed it by:
    1. go to the Firefox profile directory, which for me is here but 1st bit will be different for you as mine work specific:

    C:\Documents and Settings\U049177\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\soez0lvk.default
    2 delete places.sqlite and places.sqlite - journal

    3. start Firefox (you should have the back button now works but not Favorites, he recreated to these 2 files)

    4. in the menu, bookmarks and then organize bookmarks, then button import and backup, then restore, then select a day to restore from. You should now have your backups Firefoxes bookmarks.

    Hope this works for you
