• clone then target trying to make contact with the source

  Hi all

  Some strange behaviour in the land of Oracle today...

  After a clone (managed, for the most part), we get alerts of the suite that tries to make the cloned instance of monitoring network contact with the source instance. As soon as I disable Apache alerts stop coming, so I'm halfway to understanding the problem.

  Can anyone think all the configurations that I missed? I searched the usual places (httpd.conf etc) any reference to the PROD, but nothing appeared. If Apache is somehow trying to contact the server of PROD, does anyone know where she can be configured?

  The connection between application layers - separate database levels are fine.

  Our version is 11.5.10.2

  The servers are RHEL 5.6

  DB is 11.2.0.3

  Hard to say, but since the original question was in the Web server, it could be a separate issue. Still, it might be linked to the root cause. If you access another environment (on another server), it MUST be something.

  Preclone did run OK on the server database AND middle-ware? (on the source)

  Did you manually run FND_CONC_CLONE. SETUP_CLEAN? (on the target)

  Did you run the cmclean.sql file? (which could resolve the name of the source server in the managers of the conc.)

  What is in ORATAB?

  I use to load Excel files in HFM FDM 11.1.2.1.
  In Excel, I had 3 columns that need to be mapped in 1 column target using a few rules and mappings. Forest to source file should work in all cases.
  
  For example,.
  
  Source:
  A, B AND C
  1 company 1 xxx
  2 yyy Company2
  1 Company3 zzz
  
  mapping for B:
  Company 1 C1
  C3 Company3
  
  mapping for C:
  C2 Company2
  
  target after confirming:
  C1
  C2
  C3
  
  I take data from B or C according to data in A (1 or 2).
  
  
  I found several ways to do so, but they are not perfect:
  
  1 map columns B and C to the correct value (#C1, C2) and use scripting conditional on a column (for value correctly mapped either column B or C).
  The problem here is that I can not break through the low PIF when B and C are mapped to values other than [none]. Can this been bypassed?
  
  2 use DataPump import Scripts for concatenating the sources in one column only and use the tables mapping standart on 1 column.
  The problem is that DataPump import Scripts do not work with the source files Excel. Is this correct? I could find a word in the documentation...

  Why not add a formula in the excel file, once it is downloaded? (I guess the excel file that is being loaded is not something that you could develop a formula to start?)

  NOTE: Microsoft DOES NOT officially support office (i.e. what we do above and what of FDM backstage I guess) seems to work very well, but in most cases, etc.. Be careful about cleaning to ensure that all memory is released and that the instance of excel stops.

  I wounder what people do with the file source after publishing, they take a lot of space on my computer. I can hardly bring myself to delete, but can't I save because of the space on the hard disk. thought, only export those clip that you used in your timeline, uncompressed?

  Take a look at the project manager on the file menu. This gives you many options to compress your files used.

  

• How to edit images of intelligent preview using external editors (PS, NIK and Topaz) with the source is disconnected?

  Is it possible to use an external editor on a preview image smart when the source file is disconnected?  Advice welcome.  Thank you in advance, DW

  In general, it is better to wait that the source of the photo file is back online to change via the external editor - for this reason, the options for external editing are disabled.

  That said, if you can't wait too long (for example you are traveling and you want to download would be a Topaz or Nik copy on the web before returning home), then here's how you can change a smart preview outwardly, in such an "emergency":

  * Download and install MiscLrScripts (free, written by me).

  * Select the photos with smart thumbnails.

  To call "import Smart Previews' script.

  * Change in... (as you would for any photo online).

  Just be aware: be you editing a file dng with reduced loss of ground and changes will be NOT transportable to original photo when source file returns online.

  I managed to create a State in CQL that compares 2 values of TIMESTAMP between a source table and a Java bean.
  
  I did this by complying with the standard DATETIME SimpleDateFormat in the docs.
  
  But the format does not include milliseconds. Is there another way I can do this, without losing the value of millisecond of the Javabean?
  
  The request is something like

  where table.sometimestamp < bean.startdate
  and table.sometimestamp > bean.enddate
  
  
  where bean.startdate and bean.enddate is a java.util.Date? (or all)
  
  I tried all kinds of combinations like to_timestamp (bean.startdate.getTime ()) but it is not the correct timestamp.
  
  Also tried to use types of java.sql. * but came through different CQL syntax errors.

  I think you have two options:

  (1) to use SimpleDateFormat the of ' pattern. For example: "' yyMMddHHmmssSS', where the last two are the number of milliseconds.

  2) keep as a long (e.g. System.currentTimeMillis)

• Working with the source audio 5.1

  Can anyone recommend a good resource / tutorial on the use of origin in FCP X 5.1 sound source?

  Scenario: My new camcorder from Panasonic SC-V770K 5.1 surround audio recordings. I found that, in some areas as small theatres the rear channels pick up lots of unwanted noise, echo and the crowd.

  What I would do in FCPX is to adjust the levels of the rear channels down to focus on the audio to the front.

  But all the documents online and tutorials I found describe how to create a new 5.1 mix, not how to edit an existing levels. Surround 5.1 panoramic options are esoteric and not well documented, and all seem to place the existing channels at current levels in new 5.1 investments. Out the sound of the clip in 6 mono channels is slow work and means that I have to adjust separately and filter all the. 'Mono stereo + 2 2' and '3 StΘrΘo' options are not well explained, and if I switch between them I lose all my settings.

  Any help or advice on how to change an existing 5.1 audio track?

  More specific example: how to adjust the levels of the surround channels in a clip with audio 5.1?

  If I change the audio channel of the Mono 6 element I can individually adjust the level of each track, but the surround mix is lost and they are all pan in the Center. I have to manually the value each mono track stereo Pan, pan L/R and set levels. Great for a clip but there is no apparent way to automate this.

  If Pan Mode the Surround video, I can fix the respective rates of mixture and pan toward the Center with Attenuate. It is the closest, I came if they support Centre at the expense of the L/R.

  Is there an easier way to take a track existing 5.1 and say 'just turn this channel up/down '?

• With the source on computer with no Labview distribution

  I'm doing my 700w application. I created an executable file from the main application that runs on a computer with no software of Labview development on it. In this application, I can run the screws which are located on the hard disk in separate folder (sources), or that I have to build an executable for each module?

  What do you call others live? If these screws are already called in the application itself, then they would automatically be enrolled in the executable when you generate them.

  If these are screws that are based on the computer where you run the executable file, you can then run the screw by using VI Server calls in the executable.

  That's the advantage of keeping your external media.

  Just open the project first on the new computer.  So you should not need to be reprinted media if the external drive has not changed its name from Volume and is saved as the same drive letter (PC).

  Worst case, when you open the project of the missing file dialog box will open.  Make sure to repeat others is checked and navigate to the folder / outside looking.

  Once reconnected, save the project and then...

  go and drop your auto save preferences to the external location, so you don't have to retrieve project files crashed in the future!

  I am trying to check and uncheck aby adding and removing the checked = 'checked' attribute using javascript (jQuery).  Does not work; nothing happens. It works very well in desktop browsers, well.  Adding and deleting disabled = "disabled" works perfectly.  I've seen other posts on this topic on the internet, but not answers.

  I am writing in XHTML 1.0 Strict, where the checked = "checked", but I have tried all around switching to HTML 4.1 and just using checked no equal sign or value, and it still doesn't work.

• Timecode jamming in the Source monitor

  I know how to clear a time code in the first frame of an element in the source monitor and in the project Panel: in the project Panel, right click - Edit-> timecode - > insert time code of choice.  But I want to do is go to a point 'IN' in the synchronization of the Source monitor and jam a time code in the 'IN' place.  Whenever I have insert an hour in the monitor Source Panel, that time becomes the time to the first frame of the clip, not the 'IN' time point.  Now, I noticed that in the project Panel (right-click, edit etc...) there's a setting that says 'Current image', but it can not be selected!  So is it possible to blur a moment in a point "IN"?  BTW, I found a way to do this using math and computation of the time between the beginning of the clip and the entry point, but it is labor intensive and prone to errors in subtraction.

  Instead of selecting "Edit video" in the project Panel, with the source panel-based use of the menu of clip to select Edit/time Code, you should have access to the current framework option.

• Settings of the source is now gray for each new r3d imported clips

  At some point, I'm now impossible to import a new clip of r3d (old and new project) with the Source not grayed out settings. Relocation of REDCINE-X has not been set. Reset has not been set.

  Previously imported clips are clickable Source parameters. A same re-imported clip will also be grayed out option.

  Question was not existing yesterday on Premiere Pro CC 2015...

  For any clip of R3D (or another format that used to have the Source settings) imported CC, 2015, the settings feature moved to Master Clip effects. If you import a clip of R3D CC 2014 project, then the Source settings will be enabled in the project Panel.

  Unfortunately, information about the graphic use of themes and color in the internets are rare. Can anyone provide full application example JDev, showing how to use a graphic or color theme?

  POI_VIEW table contains several point geometry and the geometry of a polygon in a column of the LOCATION. ID_POI (of type Number) values match those of the PieGraphThemeDataSource.IdPoi.

  Have you checked the rich client demo (hosted version card with bar graph theme) that come with the source?

  Not sure if your components are covered (but should be), and if you download the war you get the source in the war file too.
